An interesting idea with a name. It's cool that we're looking for terrorists, but the text is difficult to read because it's painful to read for longer than 10 minutes on an old screen and duplicated by with shadow (
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD58 → CALL LECTOR

nice graphics
Visually, the game looks really nice. The theme is handled in a unique way, and the result is great. I also loved the wordplay in the game’s title! Congrats!
The graphics are good, the gameplay is good. Overall, the game turned out great.
The concept is truly interesting. However, the execution is a bit lacking. Essentially, you're not analyzing conversations between people, but rather searching for words chosen by the developer that would signal a terrorist. I thought I'd have to draw conclusions based on strange conversations and their context, not because of the presence of a marker word. But so be it. Even with this mechanic, you'll have to remember a bunch of words written in envelopes, and to read them, you need to click on them (the envelopes look identical). It would be much more convenient if there was a board with all the words nearby. Or even better, on the computer itself. Another problem is that you can't stop hidden listening. I simply don't have time to analyze the entire text before a new envelope with new marker words falls at the same time. However, you're still great, thanks for your efforts.
Very cool game with good visuals. I love the concept and love the fact that I can pick up everything.
Please allow the player to toggle the filters and scale the window properly so I can enjoy your game, I wanted to like it
Very nice horse game.
An interesting idea) I like throwing things around!
An interesting idea and interpretation of the theme. It was quite difficult, but interesting. I felt it lacked a clear goal, like you start with simple calls, five a day, and you know for sure there are two terrorists. Then the code words gradually increase, and the number of terrorists becomes more vague, like two to four for six calls.
Interesting concept, I was throwing around the stuff all over the floor lol, I managed to only have 1 innocent casualty luckily! My memory isn't that great so I forgot a lot of the terms It would be nice to have a machine you can scan the letters to view them in the pc. I enjoyed the game nice work!
Very interesting game. I loved that physics on things was included even though it was unnecessary for the gameplay. The whole look and mood reminds me a lot of Blendo Games games. I can see the ambiguity of not knowing the truth or outcome being part of the whole concept, but I think there could still be some sort of indicator or consequence added to help drive the feeling of player progress. Really great game and execution of your idea, can definitely see how you could build this out into something bigger.
Love the aesthetic, music and themed stuff, that is why I gave you 5 stars there. Had fun in your NSA simulation. One request though - could you release the source code please?
props for the cheeky interpretation of the theme, the game itself feels good and complete. Balancing of the keywords arrival and the rate of the calls coming in made me feel rushed and was quite a bit to remember. This might be what you were aiming for though.
Really interesting game. The name of game is interesting as well as the content. Though it's a little difficult to memory more and more terms, I still feel fun playing it. Throwing things around is also happy! I love this game
Really cool idea, it gets so chaotic that I felt like I was losing control of the situation. The hints were given to the player and I managed to stop the terrorists. My problem was that I didn't know I was successfully stopping anyone and it would have been nice to be given feedback on that. I think it was a great concept and well executed. Great work.
COOL GAME!
Very nice game, should definitely receive more ratings! The concept is great and the implementation is great. I'd only wish it ends up by itself after a while, showing you the results, because I wasn't sure whether I should end up my shift myself early or not. I suppose, otherwise it goes endlessly.
Nice game! I really like the vibes and the game loop.
As others have already mentioned, it would be great to get direct feedback on whether I've successfully caught a terrorist or not.
Also, I would have made the computer static (unmovable) so that I didn't accidentally push it off the desk (which is non-movable).The overall feeling of the game reminded me somewhat of "Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes", which was a nice callback!
@keyjale the game actually ends by itself after about 30 calls. The "end shift early" button is just the quit button ^^
Ahaha, cool game. I'll give rate it a Fun and Humor for the funny voice.
I'd also like to say that the level design is good and nice input controls, which rare for jam games. Best wishes!123.png
