A really good looking game! It was a bit hard forming a strategy since I didn't have control over the units. One time a ghost got stuck on a tile before reaching the enemy and out of range from them as well.

Cool game, and pretty tough as well!

I liked the idea of a reverse tower defense and found the game had potential for some strong complexity. I had fun trying to figure out some kind of winning strategy.

To give feedback I'd suggest improving the readability in your UI elements. For example, in the main menu, in the "How to play" section, I thought I was stuck and was trying to click the green bar to progress, unaware the tombstone in the background existed. Similarly, during game play, the surrender button wasn't too clear either and I pressed it without realizing it'd end my run, some kind of warning would do a lot of good.

Also, I did find a bug where I was able to purchase a mana upgrade worth 2 using only 1.

Great work! I'd love to see it updated in the future!

Managed to spook the king in wave 3!

Anyway, great game! I seriously loved all the graphics here - especially the use of tombstones as buttons! The gameplay was pretty cool too, if not very balanced (like pretty much all compo games...) - the max mana upgrade felt broken, and water spirits were so good that I managed to deal most of the damage to the king on wave 1 with 2 of them. Nevertheless, it was still very fun!

One final nitpick - the tutorial auto-progressing made it a bit hard to follow, especially with one page repeating itself. Other than that, awesome entry!

Really cool game and I like the style of it! I'll be honest I really did my best to win and could not do it. I may just be bad lol.

Feedback: - It was a bit hard to understand how to play even reading the tutorial. Initially getting to a point to place a ghost felt a bit hard as a new player - It would be great to be able to restart from the building army phase. - An indicator for how many upgrade points in the army building phase would be nice - Being able to see your mana without having to select ghost would be nice. - Seems like there are points where my ghosts will just run past enemies and kill themselves. - Clicking the surrender flag seems to FORCE you to surrender or quit the game

Overall awesome work though would love to see some updates on it!

I agree with other people - it was at first hard to understand how to place the ghosts. The art is so well done. I like how the menu is a part of the game and it gives me the feeling of being in the world. I hope you add sounds after the jam. Good job :)

Game looks and feel really polished! I think the concept is a nice take on the theme. Good job

Fun game! It was hard to figure out how to play (didnt read tutorial so my fault maybe). Loved the art! I managed to beat it wave 1 with 2 frost skeletons in front and 3 fire in back.

Looks really polished too!

Your game's style is truly unique; it's hard to believe this astonishing creation was made in just 48 hours. Seriously, buddy, do you have only one brain? I mean, aren't you one of those geniuses with a bunch of brains or maybe cyborg-enhanced? It's really incredible.

And I absolutely love your puzzle design—the difficulty is spot-on, challenging without being trapping. Your skills are the epitome of mastery, and it's genuinely enviable. Pal, you deserve high praise; I thoroughly enjoy your game and am eager to learn some valuable lessons from you.

Addicting but very hard. Greate graphics, solid entry for a compo! hard.png

Incredible entry! Love graphics, interesting and tough gameplay. Kinda want quick restart without losing progress. Also hoping you would add some sounds and music in post-jam, if it happens in the future.

Great work!

Top tier graphics, and lots of upgrades to unlock. Unfortunately my fire elementals decided to go for the third tower instead of the first tower so tanks didn't do anything  Such good polish though! GJ!

The idea is really good, and the game is looking great. The gameplay feels really unfinished, and too bad you did not have time to balance it. But it feel like a game with alot potential.

Loved the graphics and the UI art! The idea is also a really cool take on the theme (and very ambitious for 48 hours!). In terms of gameplay it took me a bit to figure out how spawning spirits and mana/wave mechanics work but once I understood everything it was a lot of fun experimenting with different strategies to find a good one (if anyone's wondering 3 earth guys and nothing else does not go well  )

Overall a great game and congrats on getting such a big project done in only 2 days!

Very cool graphics and overall idea! One of my blue ghosts got stuck at the bottom left and wiggled around the whole round so the round never stopped - just an FYI :) Good starting point to develop further! :D

Looks amazing and intriguing. However it was unclear how to play, since mana and hp were cut by window size. Also unclear should I summon special elements based on enemies or not. But I get that time is an issue so wish you to finish it!
