Like the idea, but it couuld be more fleshed-out. Like the object sprites.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD48 → Space Time King

an interesting idea, but it ends too quickly
Interesting take on the theme. It would be useful if we had indication on the part of the level that leads to the next reality. Obviously as of now it is always the last room, but if you were to expand this I think it makes sense. Good Job, keep it up!
@cookiera Thanks for playing and reviewing! I only made the game in under 12 hours so I only had time for the core loop. I wish I had more time to flesh out the graphics too.
@kaizerklimach I agree - I had plans for a boss, more variety of enemies, and every reality having different physics but ran out of time. Thanks for playing :)
@sli Great recommendation! The intent was to have an indicator but I never got around to it. I planned to have the realities stem from every room (and not all the realities would lead to the end).
You can still get hurt while enemy is in their death animation. I like the aesthetics.
The fact you put together this loop or prototype in only one day is pretty impressive, I enjoy the concept for sure and this could absolutely be improved upon.
Good idea and entry! I could see with more time and iteration having some cool levels with this mechanic! Keep up the good work
I liked the Idea a lot, I do wish it was longer but I understand the time constraint. the only thing I'd like changed is if an enemy attacks you, you get turned around, making combat a bit unintuitive.
@aaranos Yea I wish I could fix that bug but only found it in the last bit of the jam. The aesthetics were influenced by this pack - https://pixel-poem.itch.io/dungeon-assetpuck
@jpgfg Thanks for the kind words - I agree with more time it would have been a much meatier experience to play.
@frozenfire92 Thank you! I appreciate you taking the time to play and comment :)
@id-sketch Thats a great callout - I'll make sure to consider that as I flesh out the game some more.
you pulled this off in one day? jeez, nice work! clever idea too, though it would have been extra cool if the player was able to know what the other levels looked like. first time i tried to change level i fell through space time lol
I like the concept, and the graphics are cute. Some audio would've been nice. Good effort.
It is a cool concept. Best Wishes for your future projects.
I really like the concept, it's a cool idea. Big props for doing it in such a short time. I would have loved if there was a goal so the player actually had to go down a dimension again. Maybe some component before you can travel up? I think the game is pretty solid, especially with such a short time window. Good job!
At first I wondered why it's so short, but then noticed that you put in under a day. Nice!
Quite short indeed, but the concept is nice, I'd like to see it applied on more developed levels :)
It seemed to me that the character was unbeatable by the monsters, so a first suggestion would be to had health mechanics. Also, when going up one reality and falling into void I tried going quickly down one reality and the character got stuck (well, the going up key still works so that you can die, so maybe it was done on purpose).
I liked the innovation of going deeper and deeper into realities and I also liked the sprites! However it was all over too quick! Feel the map needed to be more maze-like in that I really needed to go and find the crown, maybe even seen it in the same reality but from a different room, so I'd have to go further into another reality and come back out again.
@miej @digital-bacon @ar-borno @elliuwu @t90 @francesco @albionbrown Thank you for taking the time to play and comment! I totally agree it is too short but I might make an extended version - stay tuned :)
@rkhadder Yes please! I'd definitely play again!
