I understand that you might think using fancy or unusual fonts looks cool, but in reality, these fonts can be a nightmare for players. Players may struggle to even figure out what the text says. Fonts that sacrifice readability for style only make the text harder to understand, ultimately leading to a frustrating user experience.

Interesting concept but the gameplay doesn't match the description. The first 3 levels were doable without cheats. Just walk to the end without dying. Only the last level requires a code to complete. The camera doesn't do anything.

Fun Idea, that works great with the thematic of the jam! I found it stressfull that the game kept on running when looking at the cheat codes, it was easier for me to ingore the cheat codes most of the time. The second level was running a long time through the forrest. It felt a little repetive and empty. I stil had fun playing the game but it needs more adjustment to make me more likely to use codes.

Unfortunately, the game doesn't work well from a game design perspective. I only realized what the game wanted from me on the final level; up until that point, I had simply run straight through every other level. On the last one, I got stuck and couldn't figure out where to go—I spent a long time running around taking photos of ghosts, eventually concluding that the game must be broken. It was only then that I stepped away from the computer, checked the in-game journal, and noticed some combinations listed there; I entered the final one and won. There was no sound in the game—I’m not sure if that’s a bug or if there simply isn't any audio. Also, in my opinion, the connection to the game jam's theme is quite weak.

The bonuses don't seem particularly useful, as you can simply walk through the levels without really needing them. The cheatcodes are also a bit too many and complicated to make them worth using.

The font is very hard to read.

I also didn't really understand what taking photos was supposed to do. Maybe providing more feedback when taking a picture would help make its purpose clearer.

Overall, a good concept and a great atmosphere!

Yes kinda same point as comments up there no point in trying to have combos if they do nothing for you to achive your level? would recomend a tutorial to fix it tbh but overall good vibe really interesting

I like the idea to use codes to complete leves. But in the Web it's inconvinient to press ESC to exit the computer. Hope you'll make a Windows build

Cool idea, and I enjoyed the music and art coming together with the old machine and sense of mystery with old-school codes. I did use some codes in the first few levels, but more to see what's up instead of really needing them, so there was probably something to refine here a bit, but I still think the atmosphere was strong and that took it a long way.

Not really sure on anything in this game? Just walking to the end is enough? Just spammed to get the powerups? and couldn't find a use for the camera...
