Loophole by louis-denizet 2020-10-06T21:31:51Z
I did like it overall, but it fell kind of slow sometimes.
Good audio BTW, went good with the motive of the game.

Thanks for sharing your game, here are my comments:
**What I loved** * The ship design what very interesting, I liked it a lot * The effect when going back in time * I really liked the audio, it had a catchy tune, and the sound in general was very good.
**What I didn't like** * The balancing, it seem that the last wave comes from everywhere and your ships and it just pop up like crazy * The movement was too loose, I would have used rigidbody.velocity and if you did, then Input.GetAxisRaw instead of Input.GetAxis to get a better handling
**What would I improve** ** The movement: This kind of games require that you are very sensitive with your position, the game is very loose on the control and you can get trapped really fast * The collider was a bit too bigon the player ship * The enemy bullets are not very noticeable * Your ships die everytime in the same spot, if they are not hit maybe they can stay for a while longer by repeating the recorded loop * Maybe I wouldn't put every ship in the loop, storing the best 5 might be enough.
The presentation was awesome. I enjoted the game for what it was. I wish there was some kind of reward for combos, or a way to incentive the player to be better.
Cool game, I liked the concept a lot. What can be improved is that the movement is kind of jittery and it´s easy to collide when you do a lap against the last one because it is reflected only after finishing the lap.
Of course graphics are non existant, but I enjoyed it a lot.
Excelent idea!
Super fun game to play, I loved the attention to details, too bad the minigames grow short so fast. But undertandable because of the time limit.
Loved the graphics and the music. Thanks for this!
Great game, congratulations!
Good game, I enjoyed it a lot, but really difficult to undestand what “drag an up arrow to a tile” meant. Also (and I'm not sure if it happened to others), restarting was very buggy for me, doing stuff that the game was not supposed to do like walking outside the limits, restarting somewhere else... stuff like that.
Pretty cool IMHO
Fun and catchy game. Jumping from weapons should be open to the player to do it instead of change, but I liked it in general.
Loved the graphics btw
@fachscahfttf Yes you should be able to shoot, can you try downloading the game instead of playing it on html5? you are correct with the sound effect, I just added them at the middle and didn't pay too much attention to it.'
For the record, the towers should go down in 3 shoots, and I think the flying enemies too. At the begining I recommend to avoid the flying enemies and shoot the towers to get better shooting by leveling up.
@gabriel-pittol I have noted people found difficult to hit the enemies, here is my take on the subject:
1. Player doesn't know if he is hitting the enemy. I didn't have time to give a better feedback to the players if they made a hit or not, so it may be a problem of perception.
2. I should somehow make a better way to help the player hit the enemy, I have thought about it and maybe making the bullet bigger or balancing a bit the bullet rate of fire/velocity should help.
3. The gameloop is not very well explained, it's ok to just avoid some enemies and wait until the ship has improved (which I also didn't explain in game).
I'm thinking about making these and other improvements, but right now I'm still burned with LD47 and week work, I still have to decide if I want to continue with the idea.
Thanks for the feedback.
@larsdahl The game provides a way to level up the ship, but since I didn't have time to balance it, it is too difficult to level up at the moment (one of the improvements is increasing the rate of fire). I don't want to change it because It would feel like cheating. But I want to improve the idea later.
@roboshamit They stop shooting when you go pass the big doors... but now that you mention it, I agree with you
Thanks for the comments, I have made a small bug fixing on the webgl version of the game. Hopefully this will improve other players experience.
I liked the game a lot, it can be improved in so many ways if you would like to continue it. A war to actually save a ghost would have been nice.
Nice work
