Cool fun game overall. Good job!

cottontshirtz 2020-10-05 03:56

Loving the trails left behind, how did you create those?

patetfisk 2020-10-05 12:05

Fun game! The level generation spawned objects on top of me which killed me instantly a couple times though

wabble 2020-10-11 18:02

@cottontshirtz I saved the players position, and then generated a mesh when he reached the end,

schwede 2020-10-11 19:22

This is an interesting game. I started jumping through the level and my the help of the previous loop, I was able to jump higher and higher. I really enjoyed it!

commanderstitch 2020-10-11 19:24

This is such a nice simple pleasing context. I was so vexed when i had to start in the MIDDLE arrrrrrr xD

vodzik 2020-10-11 19:45

Nice game :D Only thing that bothers me is discontinuity of ilnes on start.

roolow 2020-10-11 19:49

wow, Im surprised Ive never seen this idea before! genius. I early on I was making it easier for myself without even noticing, because I was jumping alot, creating arches (loops!?) to travel under. Maybe another reason to jump would've been good. Coins to reach, that maybe you can't collect until you are stacked upon a few layers of your own path? Anyways, Fun and clever!

banholio 2020-10-11 19:55

Cool game, I liked the concept a lot. What can be improved is that the movement is kind of jittery and it´s easy to collide when you do a lap against the last one because it is reflected only after finishing the lap.

Of course graphics are non existant, but I enjoyed it a lot.

Excelent idea!

onkel-mo 2020-10-11 20:03

Great idea. Haven't seen this one before. Unfortunately, the controls were really jittery for me, and apparently, I do not have enough power to run it smoothly.

capt-theo 2020-10-11 20:10

Very clever take on the theme. Got some Tron vibe.

aressler38 2020-10-12 00:05

Now I know the definition of insanity.

sharked 2020-10-12 07:28

Nice game overall :) It would be better if between each level, it doesn't change or reload the path, anyway, well done

jare 2020-10-12 08:17

Level transitions are dangerous, but great idea

louiejams 2020-10-12 09:01

This was really cool to experience for a game jam!

pulni 2020-10-12 11:22

Very nice idea! Good job!

The main thing that can be improved (imho) are the transitions. The level shouldn't be re-randomized each time, and only new stuff should be added on each run. Also it'd be nice if you can do it some 3-loops ahead, so that the change is not instant and it's like the thing has always been there. That would also solve the other problem with them: sometimes a new line/object spawns right in front of you and you just lose instantly.

jk5000 2020-10-12 13:38

This is an simple and fun little game. The random generated is perhaps a bit to messy. Overall an okay little jam game.

tuatarian 2020-10-12 16:29

Great idea, but the movement left and right was so slow and jittery. Felt like an odd bug, but I'm not sure if that's intended or not

hadik 2020-10-14 10:44

I like little that audio, maybe next time. Chmm, that game is really fun, good for you :). Good game, but average art for me. Almost nailed that theme, but it still very thing what I imagine as this theme..

One last note: I always write down honest review, because everybody need that, not just nice craps with some bullshit, but sometime I will aperceite very good games. So if this review insult you, but use it well :) Anyway every game is counting so :)

polymorph 2020-10-14 11:25

Nice idea.

endssgamesstudio 2020-10-16 12:04

cool!

neowedge 2020-10-18 11:36

It's simple but funny and addictive. Sometimes, the loop starts with an obstacle just in front you, so you can die unjustly. Nice entry, anyway!

madbeagle 2020-10-26 12:15

The random geometry is cool an interesting, but a bit jarring when it suddenly changes as you pass each finish line, couldn't see why the stuff ahead was being drawn if it's never going to be reached. A nice fun little game though.

tim-eriksen 2020-10-27 16:49

I like the concept a lot! The game ran a bit choppy for me, so it was hard to control, but if it ran smoother I'm sure it would be a lot of fun :)
