I liked the chill nature ambience in the background as I wandered around throwing scythes and lasers at little red demons. I worlds like this game that have an edge that you can find and explore. I found a hole somewhere and ended up behind the collision barrier walking over top of some buildings where the demons couldn't hit me but I could still hit them with my scythe swing. Easter Egg! Lol!

Interesting setting, I guess eventually you're supposed to reach some amount of souls harvested at which point you'd get to escape on the rocket? I didn't get that far though, but maybe I was just impatient and there's a few hundred kills left until that moment comes (since I didn't see any indicator in the game for when you'd get to that point)

I loved the pixel art in this! I couldn't tell if the rocket fuel needed a certain amount (maybe a top bar or an outline?) to take off. The bird noises in the background were peaceful and the gameplay mechanics were tricky on a trackpad, but smooth to use. Good job on this game!
@vipaka @profan you had to fill the rocket but the bar to the right of you screen was the souls that you had on you so you had to go to rocket and press f. The white lines were the indicators of how much you needed. I had added all commands in Guide page in menu.
Neat game! I love the concept of the grim reaper flying around in a soul-powered rocked. Feels like a parable. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to make the enemies a little bit more consistent. Felt like I kinda had to wander around to get them to spawn.
Good game. Really nice art, and the movement feels good. Some good sound effects when hitting the enemies would really nail the feel. I like the gameplay, but I find that the enemies doesn't spawn quick enough. I get impatient just waiting around for them to come, since they don't seem to be standing around the map waiting for me.
The background ambience is actually really nice, but a weird fit to the art theme.
Overall good game. I could easily see this as a good candidate to be further build upon and polished.
Nice graphics ! Also I coulnd't get until the rocket sadly, maybe adding more men ?

Very cute artstyle. At first I went straight south and was running around aimlessly for a hot minute without seeing any enemies then I realized they were all around the spaceship thingy lol

Fun idea, and a good mixture of mechanics here! I like when things ramp up and you're defending the rocket from laser worms and deciding whether to use your last bit of fuel to power your own laser gun or pour it into your ship. You've created a really nice variety of enemies in one weekend, and the sprite art and animation is nice. Great job finishing your game!
Nice graphics and really like the concept. Just needs a wee bit of polish to elevate the game a bit such as sound effects and some sort of feedback on attacks but understandable as this is a jam and time is short. Great job.
Love that you could dash, made the game seem a bit faster. Wish enemies spawned faster though! It felt like i was waiting a while for things to happen.
also think y'all could really use a dashing animation! I could tell that throwing the scythe probably took a fair bit of work haha. Overall well done!

Cool game! Really nice art style. I died after filling up the rocket, I could not figure out what to do next :) Few suggestion: enemies could spawn a bit faster, but the could give a bit more full, and dragon (really cool enemies) could charge attack just a tiny bit longer, it is so hard to even react to it, if you accidently walk straight towards it. Anyway, good job with the game!
