Can you Dig It? by petitpois 2021-04-29T21:46:54Z
Enjoyed it a lot. Brings back memories of the olden pixel-art games a lot! Good job!

Enjoyed it a lot. Brings back memories of the olden pixel-art games a lot! Good job!
Nice visuals and audio though the controls fell a bi clunky, like it is super easy to get stuck on a wall, otherwise, good amount of difficulty and a nice game!
Super relaxing and fun! Visuals and mood are next-level. Kudos.
Took me a while to figure out the game but i really liked the concept. Good job! With a bit of polish, this could become my go-to passive-web-gaming addiction :D
Super nice for a jam game! Took me a while to figure out what to do nut otherwise, fun!
Great art, sound and a lot fun to play. Congrats!
Superbly polished, interesting mechanic, amazing visuals and audio. Everything else has been mentioned before. Somehow, it ended up much better in practice than it is on paper, so great job!
I honestly think this is the best game I've reviewed so far. Everything else has been summarized in comments before. Respect!
Controls felt a bit odd at first but I got used to them after a while. Theme is spot-on, visuals and audio also. Liked the concept a lot, Kudos!
Dem magma, nom nom nom! Interesting take on a bejeweled-like genre. I like how it was executed, especially given the time constraints. GJ!
The game is just amazing in all aspects, had tons of fun playing it! Good work. Kudos for linux build which worked flawlessly!
Wow, the feedback! Comment section exploded :) I'm so happy everyone liked it! As soon as 21 days pass, the game will get more love and content!
Thank you all! <3
Fun concept which could be expanded upon in the future. Good job!
Congrats on your first jam! The game was a bit hard for my slow fingers but otherwise fun. Liked the audio too. Keep up the good work!
The flash effect when you take the picture of yourself was a nice touch and made me smile. Overall the game is super nice, the mood is on point, visuals and audio also. Great game to just chill while playing. Kudos!
Simple and fun, all the ingredients are here for a good rouge-like. The arrow seemed to have a bigger hitbox than it's actual size, not sure if that's intentional or not. All in all, had fun, got to the 9th cellar. Would be glad to see where you could take the game in the future. Good job!
Fun albeit a bit on the tougher side. The physics based weapon system is a nice touch. Maybe adding different kinds of weapons like a laser that could cut the asteroids or a rocket that explodes them could add more diversity if you'd like to develop the game concept further. Congrats for the first jam!
Sub model is cute, though, the camera is too-zoomed in and it is super hard to avoid mines the deeper you go and collect any of the power-ups, maybe some pointer/indicator showing where power-ups are coming could help with that, on the other hand, moving the sub to be at the top of the screen seems like a good approach also. That said, great first entry!
Really liked the art, amazing amount of detail. Had a bit of trouble using vomit, but very pretty and fun overall!
It seems the link to try the game out is not working.
I really liked mechanics with the torch! Movement feels very nice. Good job!
Nice mood and feel! It is simple, yet satisfying. Kudos!
Interesting mechanics, though a bit same-y throughout the game, adding more depth in order not to only rely on rolling would be a nice touch too. Either way, congrats on making the game!
Nicely done! Graphics are really cool and the mechanic with reloading the gun fits in perfectly with the setting. Kudos!
For 48 hours, this is bonkers. Graphics, models, sonar mechanics, constant switching of stations back and forth to prevent the sub from exploding, I love it!
Perfect 5/7. Hands down. a84bc8f285c87dba0344b9df74302542.jpg
I like the idea, very novel! There are some improvements to UI which would be very helpful - marking letters and not shuffling them, as well as adding a simple tutorial level with a single short word to teach the mechanics. Overall pretty nice game!
This is really nice! Sounds could be a bit quieter, other than that, had much fun playing it!
Simply awesome - visuals, gameplay, mood... Really good game!
Nice little SHMUP you made there! I enjoyed it a lot. A little bit more variety and more noticeably stacking upgrades would only add to the experience! Kudos!
Neat idea and nicely done! Kudos!
For 72 hours, this is amazing! Really liked the old Wolfenstein3D vibe there, good job!
I liked the level transition effect very much. Gameplay is simple, but works pretty well. Kudos!
Buy high, sell low. Even in a game. This game summoned an living r/wsb member next to me!
Kudos, was super fun! Minor adjustments to the UI would be nice, like markers when you bought a share or average value of stock in portfolio.
I really enjoyed the game! Was fun discovering what to do and how to play. Kudos!
Super nicely done! Got 66 on my first run, subsequent runs were a tad better. I'll be returning to this one for sure :) Kudos!
I liked the puzzles and mood! Really nicely done :)
Thank you for your feedback @detectivelosos! We were really tight with time so upgrades and balancing lacks a lot of polish.
Nice atmosphere but at times hard to discern details.
Very nicely done! With some little polish and variety, this could grow into a commercial game!
I like the idea, art and music, very nicely done. Kudos!
It's a bit buggy, though, nice looking!
Just WOW! This was an experience! Mood, sounds, narrative, stickers, mechanics... for 72 hours is just insane. This is bookmarked and I'll be returning to this game!
Also, thanx for the Linux build!
Kudos!
Has much potential, with a few tweaks to collision detection and some quality of life like pointers to the mothership, this would even more awesome! Good job!
I never imagined building a staircase out of my own corpses would be so fun. Super original, Kudos!
Gotta be honest, i did three playthroughs, hadn't still beaten hard mode though. Pretty nicely done! A few polish passes and this could easily be a full game!
Nice game! Atmosphere, minigames and "Nice" voice, Kudos!
This was pretty fun. Took me awhile to go through all branches in the dialog. With some sounds and maybe animated background/variation, it would be even better! Good job!
Simple, but addicting! Nicely done!
I had a lot of fun with this - art style, music, sound effects, gameplay and mechanics all hit the right spot. This is not far form a full releasable game! Kudos!
Nice progression, graphics and most of all - movement and feel of the game. Kudos!
Very solid game, initially i completely missed the bubbles and asked myself how to replenish o2, but after a few deaths, it ended up being pretty addicting! Great job!
Very neat spin on a clicker game! Liked the graphics and sound a lot! Great job!
Nice premise! Also kudos for making this in 48 hours, mad respect. I was not sure what controls to use and selecting with left click and dragging with right threw me off a lot, also, occasionally, input seems to bug out and locks me out of doing anything - happens most often in the shop. Still, even with bugs, this is amazing!
The premise is really nice. Graphics, though simple, paired with music really set the mood! I had fun playing it, good job!
Pretty neat idea, though, it really needs some sounds. Good job overall regardless!
Very nice art! I liked the story too!
Really fun to play! Kudos!
