I really had fun with this game ! At first the character's control being so swift felt awkward but combined with the "use your corpse as a plateform" mechanic it became really fun. I also like your art, the palette you chose created a nice mood.
This game was really cool. I really liked using my corpse as a platform and the platforming mechanics felt really good.
I really liked the very unique mechanic of using the character's body as a platform! The controls seemed a bit complicated and sensitive at first, but I got used to them later. And I also really enjoyed the music! It was very pleasant and relaxing!
nice mechanics
I never imagined building a staircase out of my own corpses would be so fun. Super original, Kudos!
very cool! nice art and animations and very cool mechanics with using the corpses and also with the different items. great job!

Nice concept, but controls feels little difficult and i think more checkpoints is good idea. Anyways game is interesting and has own challenge.
Awesome concept! I’d love to see this in the speedrun scene. One small suggestion—maybe make the dead body platforms one-way collisions? Right now, you can lock yourself out of progressing.
Damn this rocks. It's like if they made Mortol for the Super Nintendo. I got stuck pretty quickly with keyboard controls, but I will absolutely come back & play more of this later with a controller.
Took me a while to get the hang of the character's fast acceleration, but once I did it felt really fun to jump around. Love the art style, I think the color palette was great choice and the audio added to the mood beautifully. My favorite thing was when I realized I could trap the enemies with or even inside my corpses lol. Fun game, good job!
Awesome game. I love the cool cult-y aesthetic and style of the world. The corpse platforming is also executed really well! Some neat interactions with the level / enemy design. I made it all the way to this point before I got stumped: callfromdepths.png
Any hints? :p
The graphics are nice, especially the parallax background. The "use your body as a platform" mechanic is fun, though I've seen it many times before - however, the focus seemed to shift from it almost immediately. Once the map opened up I found the game became somewhat aimless. I didn't quite end up finishing, I think; I got the pickaxe, and I assume I'm supposed to use it on the pickaxe-marked stones higher up, but dragging myself all the way back up there seemed like it would take longer than coming down, so I stopped playing there.
The corpse as a physical object mechanic is clever, though I wish the level design was nicer. I played through the game twice, looking for the last item only to find an empty pedestal at a point where I could go no further. The time to make paths by repeated deaths took longer each time I had to run back, making the gameplay feel very repetitive. I was pleasantly surprised to see the second item, when I eventually found it, gave the ability to respawn in place. I was less pleased to see it on a timer, meaning I had to wait in place if I did not want to do the same run over and over. Why it does not apply to spiked deaths almost feels like an oversight. The visuals and audio add to a nice mood, the overall package could have been more leniently designed. Still, good job!
Quite a cool game! The idea of creating a platform with your own corpse, and making your several deaths be some kind of thing that help you is really really interesting! The way you introduce it making the first jump impossible is also quite clever level design. The art is very nice and a really love the color palette, though I had some troubles to diferentiate the spines from the walkable ground sometimes. I really like when you droping down very fast, feels very nice to do it and the soundtrack is quite chill! I wish his movespeed was a little slower, tho, it felt a little hard to jump in the floating skull sometimes cause the character just moved so much in a small touch;
I really really think you have something here! Is quite a clever mechanic, really nice entry, quite good work! Thank you for the game! :)

I made it to the point with the big demon thing with four arms and horns, but I couldn't figure out what to do after that. I thought the mechanics of using your dead bodies to progress was really cool! The art style was great as well. Nice work!
a little bit more control in the air after the jump, but overall really nice game!! love it!
Really cool mechanics (using your corpse as a platform, like others have mentioned) and great artstyle. While sometimes tricky to manoeuvre in the air, it has nice level design that makes the mechanics work.
Awesome vibe and mood. And the game mechanic is simple but genius. Really cool entry!
Cool concept, but the controls and level design need to be reworked. I was extremely involved until I found the third item. After it there was a fork in the road and both paths were littered with corpses BEFORE me. I still didn't figure out what a pickaxe (or a fish on a stick) was doing, but I went back on the corpses, which was due and difficult, I found the amulet, returned again to the end - nothing. Deadlocks. I returned to the very beginning of the game and it was empty... And dropped.

Nice idea with using ur own corpse) that seems innovative and for sure art is just stunning) very stylish) though i feel like corpses "flying" in the nothing is somehow looks more like exploit that feature)
Nice game but the start was a little bit frustrating.
I laughed when I learned that I could use the knife to create a staircase of my own corpse lol But the levels were quite difficult to play, I did not manage to reach the end… Regarding the graphics, it’s really a shame sometimes the head of the character mixes with the color of the background
