Log of October 1st~ [I guess I found a bug?]

What to understand first
I am making a game about "file size". In this game you'll need to work with the game file itself. It is a survival game against the game itself.

I struggled for 4 hours
Yesterday I had a problem with unpacking content into the game folder itself on another computer. My game engines has so much information missing. I found out after the 4th hours of struggling that I need to tell my engine that my files are on my C:\ on my own device I make my game with. This is because the engine itself does the job by itself after making a build of the game and work around the files you tell them to pack/unpack from your main computer.
The thing is that my main game developpement hard drive is my M:\ not my C:\. I found a problem with how my game engine works.

Seems like a really cool idea, but I couldn't get past the initial husbando attack after many many tries.

Meio confuso de inicio, mas bem criativo e engraçado até, hehe
@monsieurduck
To get past the husbando attack and other stuff you need to delete some files that has been created into the game folders OR upgrade your memory into the game itself ;)
Thanks for playing
This is insanely cool. I had the same interpretation of the jam theme, memory management. But you took it so much farther than I did. I mean ACTUAL memory management is a crazy idea! Loved the humor of it too. Only gripe for me is the pacing. It's a little too hard to start off, then once you are setup it is pretty easy. Still the highest I've rated anything from this jam so far. Great work!

Awn thank you so much this means a lot! I was really not sure about this concept at first because I felt like everybody would think it's an actual malware or something.
I had a lot more idea for it but got ditch. I had placeholder for the husbando and waifu but I rushed drawing them at the end because I wanted it in the Compo. but that's the joy of the game jam!
Yeah I was not really able to adjust the difficulty properly too I didn't have much time. I has a huge problem with the files that are unpacking.
But thanks a lot!

I love this! This is innovation at it's finest. I saw others playing with the fake os concept, the idea of hijiking the OS and messing with files was just a blast. I really loved it. I agree with others, the pacing was uneven, but definitely on my top 5 so far, no joke.

Interesting concept but far too easy if you can click fast. Hitting the multiply upgrade a few times to get past the initial stages and the rest I beat by a mile.
Oh and I broke the size counter haha:Broke.png
(I went over 100,000 Ko)
that's definitely an original game, i love the idea of fighting the game using the operating system itself, it's pretty clever
a little more randomness in the pacing of the attacks would've been interesting but for a jam this is already pretty good!
@stellar-lily
Thanks a lot! this means a lot I loved your game but I am not able to rate it. Is it over?
@glitchydust i don't think it's over, i'm quite confused as to why you aren't able to rate it? i've been able to rate yours no problem
