I liked the graphics and the music, but the gameplay wasn't there. The ball was moving too slow, I think you should have the camera follow it and the music playing would be a timer and "attack" indicator for you to get as deep as you can. I tilted the "screen" to the max and had the ball fall down below the screen and turning it later ended up with it on the outside of the "screen". It was interesting up to that point, at the beginning trying to navigate the platforms and use them to propel the ball away from harm. You could also place the ball higher on the screen so the player has more time to plan and react to what is coming.

Shame this wasn't finished. The song was downright amazing, wouldn't have suspected it would be finished in just 10 hours. The whole mood of the game felt perfect for the genre. The only aspect lacking here for me unfortunately is the gameplay. I get the idea, a battle formed with the pink slime surviving, just far too many times it got stuck through the floor, regardless of the ways I moved the scenario, and this happened at one point in all my tries. Would have instead of moving the screen, focus on moving the sphere, in a bit of an Undertale-esque action with dodging and flinging as I hear the awesome track, but this is me.
The music alone rocks though, always glad to see Ludums birthing interesting art in all areas!

I've came for anime girl, I've stayed for music. As for a game, I think it wasn't working, some blocks just disapper as game start and it feels like slime falling down in empty space. Wish you good luck!
