wow guys what an amazing effort! definitely took me to the DEPTHS of my nostalgia ;) Very clear to see how much effort and work went into this, loved the mechanism to 'collect' all the characters to use. The deepfried boss music was very fun, and loved to see all the credits including emotional support at the end. Great entry! Looking forward to seeing what you make next jam :)

:mind-blown:
super nostalgic and the tune covers got me in the feels!
i beat it... not really on theme but i chuckled regardless
A pretty fun little romp. Enjoyed the theming in an ironic, Dorkly kinda way. I appreciate that you didn't actually die from taking damage, made it fun to just mess around and breeze through it. Fun to experiment around with the different characters, wound up getting good use out of a few of them in the final boss. Overall a good time. Nice work.
Final Dragon defeated! :-)

Hey guys thank you for making me feel old again! I seriously liked how you forwent punishing the gamer for getting hit and were just that much more gentle than the very games you reference. Also interesting aspect that you can complete the game with any character, even if just the main character is enough. Oh and that you used cues from the design of those games, like having more than one path for beating the stage, and how enemies and the scenario were laid out.
Oh and that easter egg with the suggestive mountain design, yeah I got it! And the song for the last battle, oh my gosh.
Funny how for an older guy he packs quite the punch. Probably it is the memories of dying in those games hundreds of times huh?

Wow what a epic adventure! Love how it wasn't too punishing on the getting hit by enemies and staying alive  a ton of variety and areas topped off by a final boss! Also think it's the first game i've seen on here made with LibGDX - heck yeh! Rewarding and fun!

Hillarious game, dont know if it meets the TOS but it is a great game to be playing. very fun game, very pop culture, very yummers as one would say, very spaghetti, very nostalgia. pouring.png
The last boss fight music is amazing
Is not dying a bug or a feature? :-P BTW I was using mouse buttons for shooting / hitting so whenever the dialog after every boss appeared I closed it without knowing that I could change characters ^^U Cool mood on this entry!
