Interesting time to start learning Unity. But congratulations on finishing a game, or at least some interactive demo! Obviously this game is not going to win this year, but we still can appreciate your effort put in to this. Learning new engine is hard, but I think best way to start learning is to just start publishing games, even unfinished ones. This game is great example of that valuable learning process. We all have been there.
While I could give you some constructive feedback how to make the game better, I choose not to. You already know how to make the game better and what skills do you need to learn next. I will give you one tip: Never underestimate the importance of sounds. For example your mouse makes a clicking sound for a reason: It gives user feedback on what is happening.
Why make an options button if there are no options? haha The Gameplay feels unintuitive with clicking the button, why did you not make the object change a click on the desired object? Additionally I can't seem to figure out the "Win Condition", how do I even check if the objects i put down are placed correctly?
A valiant effort for a newbie. It's a good start, just not quite there yet. I applaud your bravery in putting out what you have, even though it's not done. Keep at it, join in next LD, and I'm sure you'll do great!

Great start man, you can clearly see that the games not really done yet. Keep working on learning development and it'll and I'm sure it'll turn out better next time.

Grats for doingyour first game! Next time you do one of these you will be amazed at how much you have improved, and how tasks became suddenly easier and quicker. It is rough around the edges but there is a lot of systems at play here, which means for sure your next attempt will really get there.
But the idea is very on theme, and I always found these inventory systems one of my favorite subgames.
And if you can, next time learn how to publish to web. It just makes it easier for others to give a game feedback! Good luck!

Technically the game itself is Limited Space x) Nice try for a newbie though, hope you enter next time with more experience and manage to deliver a full game!
I'm impressed by your determination for a first-time jam. The inventory concept is intriguing, and while there's room for growth, it's a solid start. Understanding the game's mechanics took a bit, but it's a testament to the potential here. I can see how further development could make this a unique puzzle experience. Keep refining and expanding on this idea!
Interesting approach to the theme of limited space! The feeling of trying to optimize inventory brought a unique challenge to the game. At times, I felt like there could be a little more guidance on how certain mechanisms work, but after some testing, I managed to get the hang of it. I was curious to see how you would expand on this concept in future updates. Keep it up!
Major kudos for putting yourself out there! Perfectionism and fear of judgement keep many good projects from seeing the light, and both your game and attitude show promise. I think you have a neat concept going, and a great foundation to keep learning and expanding this game until it shines. Thank you for sharing your work, and keep at it!

Some games have mundane names for strange content... not here, "Inventory Manager", it's straightforward. As its own fleshed-up game, it could be a puzzle game when you have to slot every object into a limited space, but it also could be more a feature of a game where instead of the classical "number of items / max number of items" you have to tidy up your inventory yourself.
Well, not a game, for sure, but is the kind of demo you do for yourself to test a mechanism. Everything has to start somewhere.
I second @ryrumeli : it's easier for the players when it's on web. It takes some time to download the file (and to scan it because better safe than sorry). I read the description, but I was surprised of how much of a stub it was. I have the bias of how a downloaded game has more content (a stupid bias), and all these files seemed to suggest something big (this is why I dislike game engines: so many files added).
Not sure what plans you have for the game? I could see it fleshed out as level based game where each level had more complex and oddly shaped items that needed to be fit into the inventory. Maybe even some breakable items that can't be on the bottom or under heavy items. Another submission called "Loot Goblin" did something like this if you want some ideas.

Interesting concept, although a bit weak on gameplay, but that is what you orignally told us. Good of you to still finish and publish what you got! Keep it up, your next game will be better :)

This seems like a very fun idea! The game could use more "meat" but your concept is solid and I hope it was fun to create. I hope that you continue to make more games in the future.

Since it's your first jam there's really not much point rating it as a game itself. The experience you would have gained from this yourself far outweighs any constructive criticism anyone could give you. It's important to remember that you're only going to get better in terms of game building ability.
What I will say is that you seem to have had a really good idea for the jam. I'm surprised I've not seen any other entries that are based on that inventory packing system that a few games have - I can see it being used in a really fun way. I bet you had lots of cool ideas on how you wanted the game to turn out. So take what you learned here and use it for your next time entering, where I'm sure you'll be able to come up with another great idea, and this time be even better equipped to execute it.
Great job :)
