Really innovative with the screen size changing mechanic, but the one problem I have is that the controls are not the best, especially with opening chest. Great game otherwise, though!

Great quick, short puzzle game to blow a little time! The graphical style was pretty good. For some reason, I didn't get any music, but I dunno if that's me or the game. Anyways, good job!
Excellent text-based game! The interface was clear and the game wasn't hard to understand. Good job on the text-scrolling dialogue in the beginning, I know from experience how hard that can be to implement ;).
@samueldeboni Yeah, that was probably the part we got the most complaints about during our play testing. We spent 90% of our time working on the technical part, which is probably what dragged down the rest. Thanks for the feedback!
A nice concept, though I feel like the execution was a little weak. It was just a color matching game, with nothing else really interesting going on. I liked the map concept, and the hints about what the level was going to be about was a nice idea. A different way to do it would be to not color code it and instead let the user try to reason out which card to use.
Interesting game. I didn't really know what I was supposed to be doing, and I don't know if me shooting the gun did anything. Was it supposed to? One thing to improve would be some way other than the boxes to hide / dodge / destroy the turrets, because otherwise you just get hit with no way to stop it, which is frustrating. Loved the SFX lol
Solid game! I liked the different wall types and the level design. Could have maybe used some music, even just some royalty free stuff from online. Pretty fun!
Concept and story are both very relatable (unfortunately). haha. ha... Anyway, a pretty solid game you got there. Mechanics were a little difficult to work with, but it was enjoyable once I got it worked out.
Nice art, mechanics could have been a bit more clean. The arrows moved too slow in my opinion, especially with how fast the enemies move. Maybe more lives than three? I dunno, don't let people tell you how to make your game haha. Nice job!
Pretty fun game! Was shorter than I expected, but hey, it is a game jam. Good job on the sound, probably the strongest aspect. Nice job!
@mike09123 The operator's manual (space) has everything you need to know!
@adonisdevs Thanks for the review! Yeah, we realized towards the end that someone who *wasn't* on the dev team probably would have no idea what to do, and there was just so much stuff and so little time that a real tutorial wasn't possible, and we made the manual. Not an ideal solution, but the best we could come up with.
@codsalmon The stats update hourly. Is that perhaps the issue? Anyway, your concerns are all things that we also noticed, but it was too late to fix. I appreciate your review!
Great game! Was pretty fun for a while, but the grinding for coins got a bit repetitive. I gave up when I lost to the boss, just because I had spent so much time grinding for those stats. Humor was good, not-meta was great, dancing slav put this up to a 5/5 overall.
A great time! The ship controls are a little hard to get used to, bu tthe music and art style combo is very nice, and the cannon sound is satisfying. I will say that it's really easy if you just spam space and left and right click furiously, but it was fun. I wasn't expecting a boss fight, either! Good job!
Coolio! Really good job, truly! The concept was interesting, mechanics were clean, and even if it wasn't necessarily "fun" per-se, it was still technically sound. Great work!
Excellent. It's what it says on the tin and so much more. The meat explosion is the icing that completes the cake. 5/5.
Very well paced puzzle game! It was fun the whole way through, if a little frustrating because of my inablility to solve puzzles :). Not much I'd change if I were you. Great job! I am now the most *XTreme* of gardeners!!
The graphics look really cool! I couldn't get my robots to charge at all after the first time, so I didn't know what to do and they ended up just running out. Honestly, I couldn't figure out how to do anything after I charged Atlas, so I just kind of went around destroying trees. Maybe improve game to player communication next time? Anyway, a solid attempt. Good job!
Good job man! I really, really liked this one, but maybe it's just because strategy games are kinda rare here in Ludum Dare haha. It definitely has a steep learning curve, but once I got the hang of it I found myself enjoying it a lot. Appreciate ya!
Really good game, in my opinion! I really enjoyed the sound design, as well as the music and everything about the ending. Mood was great, and the mechanic has its beginnings. Maybe increase the radius of light around the player? Anyway, I enjoyed it immensely.
Very nice atmosphere, feels like a wild party haha. Cool take on the theme. Good use of sound design. Good work!
Music is nice. Very relaxing game. Maybe could use a bit more explanation? It might help the mood if it's cryptic though. Just my thoughts I guess.
Interesting concept! I thought of doing something like this, but I never developed the idea to this extent. Great job! I liked the different ways to win the game. I never figured out how to get the second ending, but even so, it was pretty good. Feel proud of what you did here.
Collision was weird, but overall pretty great. I thought it was gonna be normal at first, until I saw the pentagram... lol. Very dark twist on a bright art style. It was interesting. Pretty good.
Smooth, tight game. Simple, but fun. The art is nice, and I like the idea of the astronaut switching his O2 tanks in the middle of space (lol). I liked the aesthetic quite a bit. Good job!
Solid game, brutally hard though haha. I always felt like I had so little time and resources to manage things, but maybe that's what you were going for. Works great technically speaking, maybe could have used a bit more time in play testing, but time is one thing we don't have in Ludum Dare. Good job!
I liked the deep-sea aesthetic, and I'm a sucker for low-light ambiance :p. Solid game you got here, simple but tight. Major Pokemon Snap vibes, but taking inspiration isn't a bad thing. Well done!
I concur with Stronf above me. I saw your post and was intrigued by the concept. It's a fun, challenging sokoban game, and while it's not particularly innovative, it's a solid game and the fact that it's under 16kb is very impressive.
Overall good game! I thought that the furniture dropped too fast to get it in position in time a lot, and all the levels I played took many tries and memorizing what I was supposed to do. In other words, there was not enough time to react. Graphics were great, but there were some clipping issues with the camera; as the furniture was falling, it would sometimes partially clip out of view, making part of it green. I did have fun though, and made some aesthetically pleasing rooms!
I think you have a strong contender for #1 in something. All the levels were really well thought out and fun to play, and while I personally didn't have the best time (I'm not really a puzzle guy a lot of the time) I can easily see how someone who enjoys this genre would like it a lot.
Burglar won't get away with the sound of those clapping cheeks lol. Liked the game, found it fun, if a little too easy. Good job!
Hey @fredspipa, that issue should be fixed if you want to give it another go. Try the itch.io version, as it looks like the LD version takes a minute to update. We're working on getting those sound effects added before the deadline, thanks for your feedback!
@zlatking Thank you so much for your kind words and advice! If I'm being honest, the art was a product of not having our artists this time, so I (a programmer/sound guy) had to step in and scribble some art. I figured I could probably pull off something like this, but I was still half expecting to totally bomb. So, it's great to hear you say you liked the art!
@donutshoes Thank you! We were worried nobody would notice that that was our take on the theme, because it's a little obtuse. That's the main reason every character repeats that line before their fight lol.
Well done on the art! The game perfectly nailed a classic retro game. Well done! I expect to see a GameBoy Color release ;)
This definitely feels like a game where you were really focused on one thing, mood. And it really served this game well. The lighting, texturing, sound, all of it conspired to give this a truly creepy, dingy mood. Fantastic work. Just one thing, the web version is incredibly laggy. Just thought you should know and anyone else reading this, download it if you can for performance.
Fantastic game. Super trippy weird ending. I got the creeps several times. There also appears to be multiple endings, as my friend and I both got different endings. Super, super, super cool. Kudos!!!
This was a fun game! I like the old-school sounds and graphics. Great job!
The graphics and music are great! For some reason, the text on the menu and the bottom left panel didn't show up, so I couldn't see my credits (based on the screenshots of what it's supposed to look like). Also, some planets would show up on my missions but didn't seem to exist, so I couldn't complete them.
Really fun game! Not the most innovative thing in the world, but sometimes simpler is better. This was very no-nonsense, and I was very happy to never be confused as to what I should be doing (which is a common problem in Jam games). Very well done!
I can't seem to rate the game, but it was fun! The terror of dying of asphyxiation in outer space was very felt. Well done! I also loved that the space ship was like a wooden ship, lol.
Good game! I liked the various mechanics and powers you managed to implement. Well done! I also liked the integration of a "space as ammo" kind of idea -- I haven't seen anything like it before.
Dear lord. This game is f*****ing fantastic. How the hell did you do this in 72 hours?? I will write a strongly worded open letter to the LD community if this doesn't win *something*. You deserve it. Wow. I am speechless.
Great mood, liked the animated stills a lot! Unfortunately, I didn't get very far, as it bugged out as I was leaving the place where I dropped Liam off and I got stuck.
A valiant effort for a newbie. It's a good start, just not quite there yet. I applaud your bravery in putting out what you have, even though it's not done. Keep at it, join in next LD, and I'm sure you'll do great!
Nice game! I didn't run into the bug, so it looks like you fixed it. I had fun going out with the different stuff to solve the problems. Super simple, but sometimes that's better, and in this case it was great. Super tight, well-polished game. I can't believe this is your first jam (and even first finished game)!
There were some weird bugs, but that didn't stop me from enjoying this game! Very moody and atmospheric. I loved the graphics and audio, well done! I laughed out loud several times while playing this game. I wish there was more!
I swear, you 3D artists are wizards. The graphics are great. I'm not sure if it was intentional, but some of the UI was obtuse. I also wasn't exactly sure what I was meant to be doing, and the controls were a little unresponsive. I wish there was a bit more explaining to be had. Good job overall!
Nice concept, not something that I would have thought of. I think there's an issue with the hitboxes, or else I was just not understanding something. A bit of text on the home screen to say how to start the game would have been nice, though I did end up figuring it out. Nice job on your first Ludum Dare!
Excellent little escape room game! I had fun. The paint graphics were very cool. Great job!
