The game had no audio. When I tried to add it it sounded all weird, and I didn't have the time. Thanks for the feedback!

I should have released it on itch.io, I know. I also should have had more visual feedback. I was not able to add sound, though I tried
At first, I thought it wasn't great because of the art... then I played it for ten minutes. Great Entry!
the best game ever made 10/10 give this guy an award
I couldn't find out how to play, but the game looks great. Some form of tutorial on the main menu would be great!
Since you asked so nicely, I'll give you all the kinds of feedback: grumpy - "I didn't like your game and you wasted my time so I won't give you any constructive criticism" polite - "I didn't like your game but here's some constructive criticism so you can do better next time" grumpy but liked your game - "I liked your game but [x] didn't work properly and I won't tell you how to fix it" loved your game - "great game! The only thing you could do better is to fix [x] and here's how I'd do it:"
I'm kinda in the middle with your game. It didn't scale very well, but the art itself was nice. The music was okay... it was nice, but nothing to write home about. Gameplay wise, it's innovative but a bit bland. Granted, this is for a jam. Speaking of the jam, your game is only very slightly connected to the theme.
f***ing hate gnomes
very fun, all round great game. All i'd say is that some gameplay diversification woulda been cool. However, I get that this is Ludum Dare and also that clickers don't usually have stuff like that
funny, but the display window is too small
I couldn't find out how to plant seeds. I knew what I was supposed to do, but not how to do it
very interesting lil' game with gorgeous art
@thefoppian thanks a tonne! My main focus was on the feel and making those volleys feel satisfying. Balancing was quite hard to do (early on the game was way too hard and the final product is a bit too open to spamming). There's somewhat an aim with the spam thing. I wanted to emulate the feeling of lining up your enemies and letting the cannons rip (what was called 'crossing the Ts'). Thanks for the feedback - it's my first real game which isn't UI/text based in a while so it's good to know how to improve.
@saering @fancypants thank you for the reviews! I find the most common thing people say is about the movement. Both of you also commented on the boat being hard to see, which is a problem. Do remember, though, that there's a fullscreen mode which should make it more visible. @fancypants about the firing, the idea is that it fires out of the left and right sides of the boat relative to its position. That means that it's the -angle and the angle - 180 (or something like that, there was a lot of trial and error involved. @saering you talked about the game not fitting the theme. The truth is, the original idea I had was that you had to guide the boat into port while it was sinking, which would fit the theme a bit more. However, I had technical issues and the game wasn't as fun as I would have liked it to be so I cut that aspect and adjusted the game to be something that was fun and built on the main bits of what I had.
funny but nothing else - the bullets didn't feel like they were doing anything and the art was bad. LOVED the humour tho
i really liked the game. However, I felt like you could reduce the rage by making death feel more impactful. Not by sending the player back, but by some screenshake and stuff
well, I liked this game. Most features worked well. However, the font was a bit confusing
this game is just amazing. The only thing it needs are tooltips
The game looks nice, but gameplay isn't particularly fun. The font is also a bit hard to read
This game is one (if not the) best games of the jam. I love the idea and gameplay is fun and satisfying. With savegames, a few more things to do / build and the removal of that weird space at the top I could see this being something I'd pay for!
Very fun and crunchy action. However, it could do with a bit a' screenshake
very nice and fun!
Artistically it isn't great, but conceptually quite good
Huh. This is a fun idea.
A very fun lil' game. It was very punchy and fun to play
Quite barebones but otherwise fun enough - graphically it looks good but a bit scruffy
This was brilliant! The best and most unique attempt at the idea
I quite liked this one! The idea is simple, but it is really stylistically pleasing and fun to play. I think there needs to be a bit more of an indicator of the loop, however.
@john-gabriel @testuser thanks for the feedback!
@mikoziq thanks for the feedback! yes, it's randomised. It increases mildly with time as well.
@pincushion thanks! This is the first game with a sizable amount of art which I did myself, so it's good to hear positive feedback about it!
@c1tr00z thanks! I had a good deal of homework to do over the weekend and the art took a while, so I couldn't fit in too many minigames. Great that you enjoyed it tho!
@samdemaine will do! Thanks! @obi-one thanks!
@cogcomp thanks!
@capt-theo thanks!
@burnedkirby @harmadillo thanks!
@swimdoctor thanks!
The graphics didn't load on my computer but from the screenshots they look good! The idea is quite fun and the game is pretty replayable
The game is overall quite fun but some of the minigames don't make much sense. It's amazing you were able to make this in such short of a time!
the game is okay - I like the idea but the controlls are too stiff and don't work well
Artistically quite poor and the idea is a bit generic.
WOW! This is great. I was originally a bit deterred, but then I started to play. This is the gaming embodiment of a high-effort shitpost. Sure, it has no value. But god, it's great.
@tomodachi i got to the game - it was great.
It's okay - very stylistically pleasing but with poor controls and a bit too hard
the art is amazing
