Very cool game! The art and audio provide a great sense of place and atmosphere, and the dialogue is well written, funny, and engaging. I really like that key items are marked with a spark, but you can still investigate other things in the scene to get discover additional bits of story/dialogue. You did a great job building tension and mood when the lighting and music changes while exploring the second level of the building. Nice job on every aspect of this game!

Great game with nice graphics, gj :)
There were some weird bugs, but that didn't stop me from enjoying this game! Very moody and atmospheric. I loved the graphics and audio, well done! I laughed out loud several times while playing this game. I wish there was more!

We had much more in plans but due to time terms the game was shortened and by a lot (we finished render something like 5 minutes before the end of upload time). If you are craving for more story you can check out our full scenario, link in the description.
Also sorry for a lot of bugs, some of them occured after rendering, another part was in the script. It was our first project so we didn't have enough practice for some stuff.
Huge gratitude to all who decided to try out our game, especially for your feedback!

I love the art style, and the mood of the game, after checking the uh "John" book ;) the sudden shift into what felt like horror had me excited, shame you guys didn't get everything knocked out in time (ah well!). Good job on what you had so far, very atmospheric and inpsiring.
OMG, Givetto Tutoralli... I'm in love

Music helps to feel atmosphere very well. Some interact sparks are missing. The beginning of this story is very interesting, it would be nice to see how it will go on!

Well made detective story, nice graphics. The animation is a bit slow, the sounds are good and the overall atmosphere is cool. There's definitely potential. I was very pleased with the camera and attention to detail. If they could also fix the ability to go off screen and work a little more on the intuitiveness of the gameplay, it would be great. And so 7/10.

Very good setup with beautiful, amazing art and moody atmosphere.
In case you ever feel like actually finishing the story, I suggest playing a bit with the: - dialogue frame design (Maybe add colored names and show them on top of the text like in all classic VN games), - walking speed (walking is not critical to winning/losing in your game, so might as well make the character faster so that a player can enjoy the actual narrative elements of the game).
Don't be sorry for all the bugs, take it as a valuable experience. Good job!
I like the art style and the mood, over all a well put together game.

Art is gorgeous, wish there was more!
Shame the game was cut short, would've liked to have seen it all played out. I also noticed there's no collision preventing the player from walking too far left/right and exiting the rooms.

Wonderful detailed pixel graphics. Excellent style, excellent noir atmosphere, nice dialogues.
A couple of minor bugs (for example, there's no hint when to press E on the 2nd floor when the light is off), but overall, great work!
This has great pixel work and atmosphere, it's a shame you had to pull up the scenario short.
There's a really nice amount of polish in this game like the atmospheric lighting, the sounds peppered throughout the levels and of course the animations. I like how you managed to pack in so much of a storyline into such a short game but it did feel a little bit jarring with all the transitions between levels (like when you first encounter the ghost). Overall, great work!
