The art style is just fantastic! Really liked the design of every character. The atmospheric music gave the game a nice touch. An impressive entry!
Wow, thank you @rascarcapackdev I'm glad you liked the mood! Thank you a lot for your comment
Thank you very much @anderson-job-loeffler I'm happy to hear you like the game!
I'm just baffled by how impressive the art of this game is. Starting from the color palette, to the lightning to the character design. How can people be so incredibly good at creating graphics?
Awesome entry, awesome mood and interesting, explorative game play, congrats for that great entry! *My artist hats off*
vibes 10/10
Gorgeous art direction and sound design! Insane what your were able to pull off within the time limit! Excited to see what else you go on to make!
The game's style is brilliant well done
you my friend are an amazing artist! from the concept design to the renderings. I was really immersed with the overall mood you created. also i really enjoyed the little twists in the combat. i hope you will continue this, because there is more to explore here! loved it :)
I finished a run, very good game. Beautiful graphics, loved music and RPG/narrative system.
that’s pretty short but that’s the sign that i wanted more. Very good demo, can’t wait to see the rest 👍
Great art and polished UI. I loved the additional choices to inspect and communicate offering extra layers of strategy and intrigue. Very good writing!
The art and music are absolutely amazing and the gameplay is intriguing! Amazing work!
I liked the vibes, the music and the artwork. Interesting concept, I wish I could see it finished! Good job!
WOW WOW WOW i love this!! the artstyle so good and atmospheric, i cant believe that you did it solo just for 3 days! also fight mechanic is brilliant. i want to play this game forever
I'm a biiig sucker for Persona and SMT type of games and I really enjoyed this one! It's a shame we don't get to rescue the girl but the beginning and the system look really cool. At times it seems that you're being punished for being too curious so trying something that is not an obvious solution is gonna end up with you dying, but on the other hand it didn't take me much time to re-run a couple of times and check out all the interactions. Also I really liked the music! Overall super cool entry :D
Joining the choir, the art is amazing. Especially the character design of the two enemies, that is not getting nearly enough praise here! As a game it's obviously pretty shallow, but as a small piece of narrative art it is spectacular. I liked all the different options on what to do, even though uncovering weak spots was clearly the only correct choice to make
Gotta give special props for the awesome sound design! Didn't quite get the reasoning behind the abrupt ending - smoother conveyor movement would be dope. Would love to see a more polished and feature-complete version - I bet it could be infinitely more addictive!
Incredibly beautiful graphics, interesting gameplay, but I had a hard time defeating the second enemy. Thanks for this experience
The atmosphere is wonderful, with gorgeous visuals and mesmerizing music! I liked how the battles felt like puzzles—it was really interesting. I also saw potential in the companion mechanic. It’d be great if, in a full version, you could actually interact with them more (or maybe get hints/comments from them?). I was genuinely sad when it ended on a cliffhanger :с I wanted more, the beginning was so intriguing! Thank you so much for your work.
Wow that was so cool !! I was disappointed to not be able to see the ending you thought about but all that was done was soo good, congrats
Hey the art is sweet, really sweet. The mechanics are engaging as well, I love how it subverts the age old idea of just rushing and attacking enemies, instead focusing on more personalized mechanics and weakpoints. It was thrilling, and the art actually felt like a finished game, this didn't have the vibe of a prototype at all!
[After observing me, you realized my weakpoint was wanting more of this game, maybe a long form version after jam or it being released in any form sometime in the future.]
Had fun playing this game! The art style of enemies is cool, very slay the spire like. I really like the variety of options you have in combat to learn about enemies or take unusual actions. Like the narrative set up, it's a shame we don't get to the end goal, but that's jams for you. Well done!
@joscco Haha, thank you so much for your nice comment! I'm really glad you liked the game!
@placeholders Thank you very much! At the moment I don't know if I'll take the project any further, but thank you very much for your comment!
@wierd0marrus Wow, thank you so much, I’m glad you liked the game!
@momotiktik Thank you very much, I’m glad you enjoyed the game! If I'd had more time, I'd definitely have wanted to balance the choices so that you're encouraged to experiment, without being punished so harshly; that's a good point on your part!
@kalabhers Thanks a lot, thank you for your feedbacks! About the ending: the only reasoning is that I ran out of time! I would have liked to make a more satisfying ending if I could. I don't yet know if I'll be able to continue the project, but I'd like to finish this part, indeed.
@missfire Thank you so much! We think alike haha, I would have loved to be able to interact with the companions! I don’t yet know if I’ll be able to continue the project, but that would certainly be an addition I would make (and a proper ending of course)!
@ryrumeli [After observing me, you realized my weakpoint was such kind and thoughtful comments] Thank you so much! I don't know if I'll be able to continue the project, but yes I'd like to at least do a slightly longer post jam version. Time will tell! Thank you again, I’m glad you liked the game!
A really cool experience! The atmosphere was great and I really enjoyed the puzzle aspect of the encounters.
dont be sorry for cliffhanger, you did a great job. 2 bosses are enough to got the idea, good game :)
All I want outta this is *more.* Graphics, sound, presentation, all top-notch. I was surprised to see this was made in Ren'py but you got its turn-based combat-with-a-twist working *fantastic.*
Very nice art and atmosphere! Congrats!
@sepjani Haha, thanks a lot!
@ryusui Wow, thanks! Yeah, in terms of code, renpy is the right level of complexity for me; and it's fun to test the limits and tweak the tools it give. Thank again for your comment, I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
Looks very clean and polished, like a free demo of full game not a jam entry made in 3 days. And I am surprised that game made in RenPy and has turn based combat. Good job!
You crated a very rich and intriguing universe here, with interesting character designs and a very well written story, accompanied by great art and music. The game mechanics are also quite innovative, I liked having different options of how to attack / interact with the enemies and the idea of finding their hidden weakness, although for the existing enemies I felt like every option was very obviously a lot worse than just going for the weakness, so I would love to see more nuance and variety there if you plan to expand this into a longer game!
Great looking game, very atmospheric
