"The visuals are just lovely, and the music fits perfectly. I especially loved that little opening animation—it really draws you in."
Was a bit confusing but got there in the end. Throwing your flare didn't seem to have any purpose? And no camera control was a bit annoying, though I probably would've gotten even more lost with it on the second desert canyon level.

The art is amazing! i like the idea too. I didn't like the long loading times. I would have liked a bit more content in the location, but that's not really important. You're great.
it's cool concept and i love 3d games on jams, but it was hard to undesrstand to which direction i move
Heyo i like the dark mood and the stop motion art, I didn't really understand what I should do at first and the movement was very fast haha. But it was interesting to try! Well done!
Why can't I load it at all?
I ran and ran... and got lost...
Beautiful art and great atmosphere! Nice work!!
The particle system was a sweet idea, and I loved the billboard graphics and the art style. I wished the game had some more onboarding like a tutorial or more detailed instructions since I felt lost quite a bit for a good while. Also the physics were wonky at times with my character bouncing around. I liked the ASMR details of the bounces and how it impacted the character, it felt really sweet.
Oh and the music didn't loop, at least in the build I used. The idea was great. And boo shader pre-heating, don't think it would have made that much of a difference in the experience you proposed.
Dig the game!
The idea of navigating in the dark by throwing a flare is really interesting. The mechanic of throwing the torch like a boomerang is very cool, and I like how the camera follows it. I think I rescued one little frog. Then I ended up in a portal area where you have to jump over a pit while riding the wind. Showing the wind through the way the trees lean is a nice touch. But so far I only have the skill to make it over the first gap, not the second.
The music really sets the tone!
The vibe and visual look on this one I really love. The hand-drawn looks charming, and i really dig the dark lighting and super cool flame particles. The camera motion made me fairly dizzy at times, and I found myself wanting to use to mouse to look around, like FPS controls. I think smoothing out controls + camera motion would make this an even more enjoyable experience than it already is. Cool entry!!
Visuals and mechanics look great! Sadly can't play the game due to a download restriction, but want to get you guys to 20 reviews!
