Felt like the walls were sticky, and the deaths were a little unfair. Had fun, and having the player disappear when they lose was a really nice touch. Sp00ky.

Very creepy - I loved the theme, the art and the music. As thedashdude mentioned, the walls feel a bit sticky.
The game over screen is scary. And the mood to. 10 seconds is a short time to find the exit with the pressure of being caught
I would have liked it if the sound changed a bit when I ran into a wall, so when I was in the dark, and stuck, and didn't realize it, I'd have a little feedback. I got stuck trying to go through some walkways (in the dark or the light) a little too often. Seeing the grue for the first time was great and scary! Nice sound and mood.
Great mood. I felt afraid. I like the spooky touches and the audio brought it together. Nice ending screen and nice game!
Interesting take on the theme. Loved how it gave me a little jump when seeing the ghoul for the first time.
OMG. I cannot believe you pulled off the REAL horror in 48 hours. I got the chill and goosebumps!
Nice Game!
@thedashdude That's very valid. I definitely should've added a sound queue to at least give players some sense of danger when the lights were off and the ghost was near. Really glad you enjoyed :D <3
@coatline glad you enjoyed the audio! That was definitely the most stressful part cause it would have made or broken the whole mood. Thanks for playin! :D
@lincoln-sin haha that makes me really happy. always enjoyed jump scares in horror movies so I'm glad I get to be the one making other jump for a change.
@lustdante thank you! that feels really validating as a designer. hope it was a good way to start your halloween season :D
It's really scary! It would be nice, if step sound will stop when you stuck on obstacle. But anyway great job!
The music and sound do so much work here. It's so spooky. I really like the piano when you spot the baddie. I noticed that if you hug the baddie when the lights go out, it leaves you alone. It just wants a friend I guess. This really needs an option to restart the level, since it's kind of difficult. I made it to level 03 once. Might be interesting if we heard the baddie's footsteps as it approached.
Loove it, very spooky. The creepy audio that triggers when the demon is near is very haunting and works very well.
The atmosphere is really spooky! Fun game, especially with halloween soon..
This is spooky! I find it has been executed well considering it is a compo entry. Simple but effective. Spot on with the theme. The audio adds a lot to this kind of game, so I really enjoyed that.
As everyone else has mentioned, this is very creepy. It's impressive how creeped out I was at times given how little time you had to make this.
I got to level 03 a few times but couldn't beat it. I'm curious how much more there is to it than that?
I kind of wished that the enemy wouldn't be able to kill you until after appearing from a distance (with the piano sound effect) for the first time. I think dying before you even see her kills the tension a bit, while also just not being very fair. As I got better at the game, this turned out to be most of my deaths.
I liked that the maze layout was the same every time, rather than it being randomized. It was difficult enough as it is to deal with the enemy's unpredictable position, the level itself being predictable helped.
Great mood, especially thanks to the music. I give it 5 stars in audio. Very impressive compo game.
The game atmosphere is really nice and the audio adds a lot to the game. My only complain would be controls, it was quite hard to fit into some passages. Beside than, cool game. Good job!
