Hah. Nice game but great music!
I can tell you had fun with the music and I was sad it ended; it's actually quite impressive! It's a polished experience that is amplified by the constant discovery of the epic background music. I did think that the enemies were frustrating to move, (I guess that's the point) but the trip-wire things were really cool. I certainly felt as if space were limited. I do wish that there were more levels but not at the cost of the music. Very good.
I really liked the level design when it came to introducing mechanics. Though I found the arrows blocking you a bit annoying and at first didn't realize you could push the zombie bodies.
This game was surprisingly very fun. The art is simple but the gameplay and level design is quite intricate.
CI agree with @bisnesspirate . The level design was really well done and the song was hilarious! One of the funniest games so far. Well done!
Nice take on the theme in this action puzzler! Adding mechanics kept the levels fresh and the track was dope!
Really enjoyed this, I feel like that song is going to be in my head for a while! My only frustrations were that it felt like zombies got a little too "stuck" on the uncloging the pipe level, and honestly that it ended too soon! I'd be interested in seeing more levels that combined more of the mechanics together!
on level 2 i had to restart and it gets frozen and i have to reload the page (web version) .. fyi
game is really cool and the music was funny nice game! i feel like pushing the zombies should be a little faster, but maybe its calibrated to the puzzle idk
man, the music is so catchy i can't get off my head. at first the 3rd level was so hard but after finding out the usage of arrows it was a game changer
Nice game fun music
The song is pretty chill considering there are literally zombies in the hall... Fun game! One remark, please add the arrows as well as WASD for moving the player, many people prefer using those keys.
I like it.I want the link of the music.
Great game! Feels like Sokoban meets Hotline Miami. Good job on the song too.
Nice job with the level design! I liked that there were a couple different mechanics and a variety of interactions (eg. arrows shoot zombies AND arrows can block zombies) so it felt like there was some choice on how to go about solving each puzzle. The song was a cool addition as well :)
web version doesn't work on osx (are you using godot 4?), so a mac build would be nice. I'll check back later when I'm on my windows machine.
Really appreciate the lyrics button so I could double check that I heard "Don't have a cow//It's not like Zombs Royale" correctly, the audio really steals the show for me but the game itself was also fun - I think if you want to keep working on the project you could make a lot of interesting levels with the mechanics you've already made.
@linus-lindberg Just added an untested macos build for "Zombies in the Hall" to my itch page
lol - great song and a fun idea! zombie movement was pretty fiddly and they got stuck a lot, but nice work : )
I didn't even know about the lyrics button until I've read the comments. :D
Love the song! Puzzles are nice too :)
The music is so not my kind, but kudos for making that in the allotted time! First I thought yet another boring mouse aim shooter, but you added nice twists. Good one!
Nice game. Enjoyed the zombies in my hall theme song.
Supremely difficult! It took all 11 arrows on the second level to kill the single zombie, and the next level with three zombies and 1 arrow isn't enough to kill any of them, so that's where I got stuck. The game is humorous and looks cool too. High marks for sound design XD
The music really drew me in before I had done anything. 👀 I enjoyed the sandboxy physics though pushing a zombie down a long hall did get tedious. I'd love to see more levels! I was excited for what kind of demanding craziness was ahead. Killing zombies at the right moment to solve a physics puzzle is a super fun idea
