Great graphics and smooth gameplay! Not sure if there is a lose condition since those things did hit me. Either way, interesting idea and goodluck!

Such a cool vibe, really like shader, art and music. just i guess a bit hard to play or it's just my skill issue 😉
I liked the graphics and vibe. I might want to see how many coins I've collected before the end of the level. Good luck!
Love the animations on the lil guy and the old school crt effect.
I got hit a lot and wasn't sure if getting hit makes me lose treasure? I feel like I got lighter when I did. Managed to get to the finish though! Not sure if 87 is a good score.
Always impressive getting wall jumps into a short jam. They were a bit tricky but I managed to each challenge doing them.
This is an interesting concept, and I like the Game Boy-esque presentation! One slight bug: by getting hit with no ore in the bar, I ended up with a full supply of ore! And practically no ability to jump, or relieve myself of my burden.
I can't jump anymore even if I tried to Offload everything snif ! Nice mood and controls.
Love this graphic
Very cool concept - I think this could make a fun puzzle-platformer with each level getting more and more difficult to carry out the gold, especially if each new level introduces mechanics. Really liked the graphical style as well, great job!
Graphics were great, I think the CTR effect was really nice but slightly too much. Tricky game once you realize you get heavier while collecting. Good stuff :)
Very nice idea for a game mechanic. I had fun hopping around the level even if there wasn't anything to do with the loot found. The art style and sound effects were very reminiscent of a gameboy game which was cool. A fuller version of this could have a puzzle platformer element to it
@john-gabriel Thought I fixed that...guess not. Thanks for playing.
Liked the art. Im a bit confusesd about the final score though. So there are placed you can't advance to without ditching ore, but then my score is down. Is there a win condition?
Extremely good, innovative and well executed. Good job.
I loved the style and gameplay -- and the sound effects fit very well. Also, thank you for adding controller support -- that's so much easier to play on than keyboard!
I had expected to get weighed down, but did not notice much of an effect of that. That said, even without that, the game was very enjoyable. I could see this being expanded into a really fun larger game, if you wanted to keep developing it.
I really liked the gameplay. Having to choose whether it's worth it to take treasure is an interesting mechanic.
Interesting. I didn't feel too inclined to keep my treasure after I found out that there's no real consequence to not having it. I also didn't seem to realize that you could double jump, even after doing it that first time at the beginning. The same goes for wall jumping. At one point I thought that I was stuck because I didn't know you could wall jump. Anyhow, I do like the style of the game. Good job!
I love this game's style so much!! I've played a ton of platformers today, but this one is definitely a standout. The experience is just fantastic.
Very awesome ascetic, love the vibe totally. Sadly, there wasn't any music to hear, at least in the Web Version. Sound design was otherwise on point. Gameplay was nice but challenging. You did a great job! :)
I really liked the OG GameBoy style!
The weight/health mechanic could really lead this to a really interesting full game.
I have to be honest, I found this rather frustrating. There are too many places (like the giant spike pit with no platforms over it) where it's impossible to proceed without dumping or losing all your treasure, which defeats the purpose of collecting any in the first place. It's not indicated that you can double-jump or wall-jump - I had to find those things out from the comments, after initially getting stuck in the starting area - and as @john-gabriel pointed out, there's a very obvious underflow glitch where getting hit without any treasure causes the bar to wrap around and fill up, which *would* be a great exploit if it didn't cripple your movement with no guarantee of being able to fix it.
On a more positive note, I do love the Game Boy-style graphics and sound effects.
There's a great idea here, but I don't think it's quite there yet, sadly.
A very cute and stylish game! It would have been great if the description mentioned double jumps and wall bounces, but no big deal, I figured it out anyway. Excellent game with interesting mechanic
Cool idea! I really like the graphics and animations especially. The mechanical idea is very interesting and I like the idea of a tradeoff between health and carrying things, but in this case it seems there's not much of a benefit to carrying things, and indeed sometimes you _can't_ carry things past a certain point, which makes the mining feel a bit perfunctory. I think if there were some benefit to carrying a large amount of stuff, it would make the game feel a bit more tense or give more of a feeling of tradeoff.
