That was fun! Gotta love a good 'ole dungeon crawl. I'd love to see it more fleshed out with better map design and more need for resource management.

I enjoyed the game just wish that there was a score system or a minimap or something to judge my progress, especially when you get most of the way through and die.
It was neat running around and plopping down my little dudes. It would be nice if I could command them or upgrade the green guys so that I can get more attached to them and cry when they die. Really good for how long you made it! I hope you continue to improve this game later.
The movement felt a bit stale and slow, but I loved the puzzle/action of spawning monsters!
@wubbaduck Thanks.I planned to make multiple floors system this dungeon so that the resources management could be designed within several smaller areas. But eventually time is not enough so I have to make all levels together which loss some degree of challenge when you close to the end of game. But yes, I could do further improvement on the level design.
@legendarypie good point about the score system, this could show that how good a player "solve" this action puzzle.
@theyflower interesting idea about upgrading them. the first thing jump into my brain is Command and Conquer, the survivals after a battle will become stronger. In fact, I just wanted to use minions as a consumption for many local battle at the beginning, they won't follow player to next place, but I also feel excited about the upgrading idea, maybe I could put them into this design with some game mechanism adjustment
@lightningst you're definitely right. At the very beginning, player character moved more quickly than current version, but it also break basic puzzle gameplay, so this is an workaround before I find a real solution. Thanks for reminding me of that.
Awesome game entry! Did really well at implementing the theme. Loved the artwork (especially the little bobbing of the main character). Sound design could be a bit more fleshed out but considering timeframe it was good.
Overall great work!
Very fun game! Nice graphics and interesting combat—one missing feature is a time tracker. With it, I think this could be a cool speedrun-type game to min-max movement and routes!
One thing I'm not sure about: was it intentional or a bug? But in the end, I had like 600+ green summons.

Looks like an rpg, plays more like a puzzle game. Great job over all.
This is a fun little game! Simple but effective and cute art! The challenge was just right with the puzzle element and all. Had to restart a couple of times before solving it :) Good job!
Liked it a lot. It kinda reminded me of desktop dungeons where it tries to be a roguelike, but it's actually puzzle game. I didn't expect it to be so engaging when I tried to play it it was great! Also I liked the audio, there is just enough to make it feel good without it being overwhelming.
I really like this game. Obviously the balance is a bit off, which is to be expected from a jam game, and ideally the movement would be faster but the actual mechanics are super fun and the exploration and progression through the map was interesting. I appreciated that the enemies required different strategies so I couldn't just spam green guys.
Great use of the theme as well, and the game looks great.
Your game's style is truly unique; it's hard to believe this astonishing creation was made in just 48 hours. Seriously, buddy, do you have only one brain? I mean, aren't you one of those geniuses with a bunch of brains or maybe cyborg-enhanced? It's really incredible.
And I absolutely love your puzzle design—the difficulty is spot-on, challenging without being trapping. Your skills are the epitome of mastery, and it's genuinely enviable. Pal, you deserve high praise; I thoroughly enjoy your game and am eager to learn some valuable lessons from you.
That was really cool! Enjoyed this game very much :)
a puzzle rpg Great game. Love the simple art and the game mechanics. it look really good
Interesting game, I felt like exploring was pretty rewarding. Yes, i got some dopamine hits when I finally unlocked a room full to the brim of potions and keys (where can I go NOW?). I did feel like the movement was much too slow, especially for such a big map and a game jam where people aren't going to want to play the entire game either. I think the game may have benefited from making it to where enemies could only attack one unit at a time, though, I could just be missing the intent behind that. Overall, I played to the end and it was pretty fun!
@yohadams it's intentional because that I afraid the final boss is too powerful and I want to set the final boss as a reward rather than a challenge, because it's just a jam game, people won't play again after finish it, I want they could use as many minions as they want.
@drgcandle Hey bro you give me too much appreciation LOL.Thank you for playing the game.
@justuspan I have to say, mate, I've said all this because you've done a fantastic job. By the way, if you have the time and energy, you could also lend a hand to my friend. He's created a great game with excellent gameplay and artistic effects; it's just that it hasn't received the attention it deserves:https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/55/squiggle-sorcery
@coatline Thank you for playing to the end. I'm quite happy that you got some fun from this. I'll pay more attention to the slow movement issue next time(when I join in next LD in future). Thanks again for your comments.
@meepster @pe7e @ilari @worldofmush @magnusfurcifer @oligue @acsid Thank you guys for playing the game.I'm appreciated that you could like it at least in one aspect. Also thanks for pointing out the shortcomings of this game.
@drgcandle Sure.I had add both yours and your friends' game into my to-play list.I will play & rate & comment later this week when I'm avaliable.
@justuspan You're really considerate, brother. I sincerely thank you, and I also convey my friends' gratitude to you. I hope this won't take up too much of your time. However, to be frank, what matters most is if you could help my friends; my game isn't of great importance.
This reminds me of the "Tower of the Sorcerer" game that I played when I was a kid, while unlike that STR RPG, this game brings in summonning and make it more action taste, while also retain the yellow/blue/red key design which is something I really enjoy as the (fake) OG gamer back in old days. I like those good old time and I enjoy this game as well - well done!
Nice dungeon based game. I wish I could unsummon my green soldier and get some refund but joke aside, its fun game. I will need to replay this game sometime.
Pretty neat puzzle game, the visuals are simple yet charming, and i like the summoning implementation !
Honestly way more fun than I was expecting based on my first impression! I really loved slowly unpicking this knot of a map, and figuring out where I should go to get what I needed. I also *loved* the "twist" ending where you get near-infinite guys to summon. Fun stuff!

A very enjoyable experience! Would have loved for my troops to follow me or similar, but I understand that some of the puzzle mechanic of the game would have been lost in that case.
