This is so lovely! I really like the different enemies, and the "surprise" boxes reminded me of Alex Kidd in the Miracle world.
I feel it would be fun to have the user score shown with more sparkles during game over (You got a new highscore! or something)
WOW! This is my favorite LD game so far! Amazing graphics, sound, gameplay, everything! Bonus points for PICO-8!

Really nice! After a while I figured out I can place blocks under me as I jump and that made the game even more fun. One problem I had is that I often accidentally used up rocket fuel because I jumped right as I fell of a block. I think this also has to do with how you slide over the floor a bit. I really like how the "music" is made up of the enemies sound effects. Good job!

Wow, this game is really inspiring! From the title screen to the gameplay.
Very clever mechanic. Pixel art is super charming.
It's an interesting game. You didn't really describe how to play the game though. Move using the arrow keys, jump using z and place/remove using x. I did find that the controls aren't great on a keyboard. The player also falls very quickly (gravity), making it quite difficult.

Such a fun game! Checkpoints might've been nice though. I assume levels are random? Because at some points it felt almost impossible without using like 20 blocks. Btw the jetpack was super fun to use, you can build up some serious speed with it. Great game :)
