I keep dying to invisible clerics (?). Anyway, it says there were clerics but I'm all alone. Can't get far in the game, unfortunately!

Those are some gigantic fruit
I'd love to try, but the game freezes my Chrome :( Safari just gives up:
Error The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing: Cross Origin Isolation - Check web server configuration (send correct headers) SharedArrayBuffer - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)
That's a seriously impressive amount of work! Did you sleep at all? Although, thinking about it, the shrub hit sound would probably keep me awake all night too. lol Also, I can't find B on my keyboard. Had to plug in my controller to make it work.
I played for a few rounds. It is unclear to me whether I'm missing some element of strategy - if so, could you add it to the description for future players? Mostly, I'm using my population up until about 2 each round, to a maximum where I'm sure I'll probably beat the upcoming enemy ships.
@muhuk OK, makes sense. I think I got about as far in the strategy as you did then. I liked the frantic sound feedback of the battles!
The graphics are impressive, and I like that you tried something new with the controls! It took a while to figure out, but it gets easier when you realize most of the time you can also react slowly.
It's kinda unfortunate that I got stuck after a few screens. It's not clear to me which of the paths I'm supposed to go; I can't make either of them work!
I'm also not sure how the whole real-time harvesting mechanic fits in with the platformer. It feels a bit like it's added on top rather than fully integrated. Still, very nice work!
I'm not on windows. Wish I could try it! Also, some of the images are vaguely sus. lol
It's so minimalist, but everything fits together really well. It's kinda meditative to wait next to a plant and wait for an opening to poke it.
@appoxgames Thank you for nice feedback!
@twchapman Thanks for the kind words! Music (and sound) is the only thing we didn't make ourselves, but we appreciate the compliment on choice of tone nonetheless :)
@maymay Thanks, we also found the movie on Google, but interestingly neither of us have watched it yet, lol.
@linus-lindberg Thank you! I agree, corpse dragging might have worked better if you were able to walk on corpses and drag them more closely.
I can't really play because itch.io's auto size cuts off the (I'm assuming) essential UI :(
