Loved your game! The graphics and the music contributed to a really relaxing mood. And I found myself thinking really hard and strategizing how to grow my crops. It was really challenging, I only made it about 20 days, but I think I can do better next time I play :)

Thank you! I was hoping for that "relaxed card game" feeling, plus a little bit of strategic balancing :)

Definitely has a relaxed mood, along with a surprisingly deep strategic system. The only thing that I think could be improved was the feedback with the shop- I bought three hoses before I even realised I'd spent so much money. But overall, it's a fun little puzzler with a lot of depth. Well done.

Thank you so much! Yeah it definitely could be improved with a little "click" sound or something to indicate something was actually purchased alright, far too easy to spend all your money at once by accident!

I like the relax and zen feeling of this game. Would be nicer if you put some animations to the cards!

realtanhen 2023-01-10 14:36

Thank you! Definitely would have been something I'd have liked to add as it's something I enjoy a lot in card games I play (along with some relaxing card shuffling noises and so on)!

Soothing experience while also challenging! I like that! ☺️

realtanhen 2023-01-10 14:42

Thank you! That's exactly what I was aiming for, it's the kind of experience I like the most in card games!

I had a ton of fun playing this game! I also enjoyed the balance of the game and that the fertilizer wasn't so cheep that you could farm infinite money with it. I also liked that the cards you get each day are randomly selected and so hoarding resources isn't necessarily the best idea. Overall it was a ton of fun to play!

Thank you so much, I played around a lot with the maths in my head to try and figure a nice balance that was fair to the player also!

Very moody game. Very novel mechanics that fit the theme nicely. Since you clicked the cards instead of dragged, I wish if there were some way to undo it. Also would've been nice to know what the plants required before buying them. Also, the inventory screen didn't update properly if I bought something.

Interesting gameplay! I had much fun.

That's a challenging game. It's really hard to make sure that you get enough sun and water for your plants before they die. I agree that the music, pace and environment is relaxing, but well.. the actual gameplay is all but forgiving.

I wish it would ramp up with difficulty as you play instead of being that harsh from the beginning. I barely managed to survive a few days so far.

Nice gameplay! Cool theme implementation. I like this art!

Amesome game! It's like a little strategy. Art is nice. Gameplay is awsome. Thanks!

Delightful atmosphere. Very calming. I liked the color palette, music, and strategy required. I'm bad at the game though and couldn't make it past 10 days, never successfully harvested a plant because I was always forced to choose weather that increased something too much. I wish there was a fourth weather card that was far more mild every time, like +1 sun/ +1 water or -1 sun/ -1 water. I also wish that perhaps there was a little card sound when clicking things, but otherwise, very tight design.

Calming, vibey, AND strategic. Love the blend of peaceful atmosphere and making card decisions. Challenging, I found it pretty hard to lower stats on cards and kept overwatering or over sunning.

Wow, very cool card game! This one is super chill and has great music and ambient forest/bird sounds that help set the tone right away. Even if I wasn't able to survive long, the serene soundscape and card art was really pleasant to experience. I like being able to buy from such a huge assortment of cards after every turn. Great idea to have the unique sound effects when every card is played, too!

Nice and relaxing game with a really cool mechanic. I love the different choices and I'm impressed with the amount of cards. I found the game quite difficult but having also made a card game for the compo I know how difficult it is to have time for balancing . Once I had some money I found it more manageable. Perhaps giving the player some money to start with could make it easer to get going, since it would allow you to buy the cards you need?

ysendrin 2023-01-15 23:25

I think I didn't actually understand the game ^^' I mean I did got that I needed to fill the gauges but why do they sometime start 2 of 3 cases off? I did manage to earn some money but it all went south real fast haha! That being said, I love the concept! The game feels nice to play, very chill. The art is very pretty and I gues that if I had understood how to play I would have enjoyed it way more!

cagibi 2023-01-16 13:03

Very impressive for the compo! I managed to survive for about 10-12 days: the game isn't easy, but not that frustrating either (the mood helps a lot).

A nice game. It wasn't immediately obvious how buying things worked (e.g. I didn't realize at first that using items would be permanent or that things stayed out until they were used rather than being shuffled every day). I ended up stabilizing by just planting leeks and choosing the wettest weather possible.

leckert 2023-01-27 18:06

Awesome game with much more depth than I expected! There was a bit of a learning curve, but felt really satisfying to attempt to get into a sustainable flow of crop-growing. I can tell there was a lot of balancing work behind the card values, and it was definitely worth it!
