Congrats! Interesting game idea and nice execution. Easy to grasp but challenging.
In my opinion, the difficulty increases a little to quick. I'm world champion though :v:
Enjoyed it a lot! I only managed to get to top 4 though (7000 points), I'll give it a retry other day. Simple mechanics but nicely implemented. VFX are lit!
Nice entry! Quite an achievement a procedural 3D maze for the compo! Great music and sound, and I liked the arrows mechanic as the radar. I have the same question as the previous comment, is there an end? Or is it arcade?
Hi! I feel like I'm not adding anything with my comment, as I agree with everyone else but still want to encourage you to continue with the idea and publish it for mobile.
Fresh puzzle game idea and well designed levels. It's probably the most impressive achievement as I've also tried to submit puzzle games but it's too hard to present even a few amount of different levels. As other people say I'd add a little bit more of explanations, or as you say, simple tutorial oriented levels. Also, big fan of music and visuals. Theme used on a thorough manner.
Nailed entry!
Simple but fun game! I find it interesting the fact that the camera view is not wide enough to be able to see bullets coming from all the points at the same time, so you have to move it a little while playing (or at least that's the way I got to survive longer). Good looking lighting effects. With leaderboards I would have played until scoring the first place X)
Almost made it to round 6! I enjoy difficult games :). Nice work, impressive ammount and quality of models and vfx for a compo game. pic.png
I love the game! The graphics and animations are great, game concept and description is quite humorous, but the gameplay is what I enjoyed the most. As I see on other peoples' comments, many people found it hard to avoid the hands. For me it was clear, and the reaction time was perfectly balanced. Alarm clock controls feel smooth. Also impressive that is made on your own engine, as it ran perfectly.
Besides the already mentioned sound, the only thing I'd change would be making it longer!
Interesting concept and nice execution. Had a lot of fun on the first runs, but subsequent playthroughs are easier due to memorizing. Maybe add randomness to the elements in order to keep arcade mode fresh. Anyway, congratulations on such a cool game!
Great entry! Tons of work into it (3d, music, vfx, models, game mechanics) yet feels polished in almost every aspect, incredible for a compo game. Chopping and fishing mechanics are elaborated. It is cool that you can get better at the game by getting better at the minigames, in contrast to other survival games where the actions are automatic.
I also loved the SS Icebreaker coming. Got the bad ending though x).
Fun entry! Car controls feels great, upgrades keep the game interesting over the rounds. I would only add the flip prevention you mention some comments above. Quite humorous too :) Edit: Superb music!
Awesome entry. All aspects of the game are polished. Graphics and vfx are goreous, and the game is quite complex and balanced given the 72 hours time limit.
I'm not an usual resource manager gamer, but as you request our feedback, the only tweaks I'll do to the game balance are:
- Decreasing energy production of clean energies or increasing the energy production of the non clean energies, as I ended up just using clean ones without trouble. - Increasing the game challenge over time (not sure how though, maybe adding another oposing npc country), because when I got to a certain point of diamond mines + clean energy production plants + dragon trees, the game was quite easy to manage.
Nice entry! Quite impressive graphics, the earth almost feels alive with those clouds and reactions to the meteorite impacts. I like the idea of "health" you propose on your second comment, I think it would add more originalty to the game. Also I enjoyed the game balance, it feels like a reinterpretation of the classic Missile Command where you have to shoot wisely, not because of bullet limit but for gun movement speed.
Interesting game concept. I would like to see it developed a little bit more, adding different spells, enemies and upgrades. As other people say, maybe lessen the difficulty curve too, but nonetheless great entry!
Good work! Creative use of mechanics and theme. Also fun to play, you had me replaying it until I got to the minute mark :) Here's my personal record. cows.PNG
Cool game! I've always loved typing games. The music fits perfectly and the melody is catchy.
I would add a little bit more of explanations on itchio page or here, although I also wasn't able to do as much as I liked on my own entry.
Fun entry! The iceberg spawn looked organic and felt balanced gameplay wise, although I also encountered the bug some mentioned above which prevents them from spawning at a certain point. As other people said, I would love to see a cute/silly penguin model falling when standing still, but I understand 48 hours is not much time! :)
@vilmantas Yes they have different weights, the bottle is the heaviest and the glass the lightest. In regards to the strategy, I like to place as close as possible to the center as (I think) it adds stability and prevents the wine from tilting. Thanks for the feedback!
@badoomtch Thanks for playing!
@stasm Thanks for the feedback and congratulations, you hold the world record :)
Fun entry! The slow but steady movement of the bulldozer got me panicking a little :D. I would prefer if the character movement was slower and to be ablo to rotate the beams, but I it might change the game feel completely and remove the rush and panic feel. Nevertheless, nice entry!
