Fun game, great concept and execution. One thing: I would have liked the letters to be capitalised to make it more readable.

Very fun, especially with the leaderboard showing your score at the end. It's hard to take it all in with you staring at the keys to input the whole time.

Interesting concept, though I'd make the text more visible, maybe by making it bigger? Also, make my bullets do more dmg or enemy have less health and when moving, move to somewhere only away from enemies.

Hello! The concept is cool but it can be better with a new feature.

Cool game! I've always loved typing games. The music fits perfectly and the melody is catchy.

I would add a little bit more of explanations on itchio page or here, although I also wasn't able to do as much as I liked on my own entry.

Great work on completing the gamejam.

I love the idea of the game, I think it would be great for anyone who would love to improve on their typing skills. If I could offer one suggestions: 1. While I understood what I needed to type to progress the game, I think more feedback would have make the experience even better. I found myself frustrated at not knowing what the cooldown is for I make an mistake =(.

Well done!

Nice to see another game involving typing in the mix. I think an end screen would have been a good addition. Also, it was tough to time when I should start typing again after making an error so some kind of UI element would go a long way there. I'm also not sure what 'line speed' was referring to. Some basic sound effects would have upped the presentation a fair bit too, but I understand that time is tight with the compo.

Congrats on your entry! I think you have a solid gameplay base here, I liked the idea of running and attacking successfully when you type. As others have said, a visual indicator of when make a mistake and when you can start typing again would be nice, as well as maybe some more control over where your character is going and who is attacking who. I thought the difficulty really ramped up as well - was it even possible to defeat the boss? In any case, good job!

Nice entry. I think a small improvement could have been to put the words on a rectangle background of opposite color so there was more contrast because sometimes its hard to focus on it with all the moving stuff in the background. I also would have preferred real words in some way as it would have felt more natural to play but i guess thats what makes it hard. Overall fun entry

I always like to try out typing game entries and this was a pretty interesting one. I'm not really sure what the difference is between the different coloured circles, so I just ended up trying to type the characters as fast as possible when they came up. I didn't notice an indicator when I mistyped a character to tell me I couldn't type for a few seconds - perhaps a sound effect, a bit of screen shake and/or a meter/timer that shows how long I can't type for would really help here. An end screen to show my final score would be nice as well. Overall, a solid entry ^-^

Great job for 48 hours.

I enjoyed the typing aspect, especially that you have to complete words in order to move your character away from the enemies.

I have to admit though, just typing random letters hurt my brain. I felt frustrated that it wasn't from a list of real words instead.

Having sound indications when I type correct and incorrect letters really would have been helpful.

Had fun playing this one!

Really fun concept, the music suited it very well, and I think the addition of a leader board makes it quite interesting
