Really enjoyed this one, the art/music is really nice. The only thing I'd say is having a bit of 'wind' when moving between areas would be cool. And now I just want a large pizza with everything on it :(

There is clearly a decent bit of polish here, the sound works great and the goofy early-tablet game style art is almost charming. The clicks are responsive and the larger premise is silly but not too left-field. The receipt that comes up at the end is a very nice touch.
I think the big problem I had was that the core loop just wasn't that fun. It felt a bit repetitive and it did not feel like I was making any meaningful decisions. I can think of some minor improvements for a post-jam version, maybe allowing more control over what food to get and perhaps more challenge with stuff falling off. Some more predictability with regards to physics will help the game feel less random and more fair.
All in all though, a nice polished experience.
I liked the quick mini game, it really made you race while fighting the physics. Very cute

Nice visuals, the collisions betwwen the foods are sometimes really weird and they fly in random directions. But fun game!
This game made me laugh so much! I loved the gameplay loop, and the inspirational quotes made me crack up so much! One of my favorite games I've played so far! Very fun and funny, great job! :)

This was super fun! The Art and sound were great! I love the printed receipt at the end for your score. The only thing that didn't make sense to me is that your final score says "My Savings" and was a negative number but seemed to actually be the meal price after savings. Whatever, it was still awesome!

great game! It was very fun trying to maximize the amount of food you have on your plate and hoping you will get multiple pieces of popcorn in a row :D. Sometimes its frustrating when you pick up a huge piece of cake and it instantly knocks off your other food, but that's part of the fun :D. The art quality here is really really good! And I like the random quotes that pop up, it gives you something to read while you eat. And the ambience with people talking in the back is nice
The concept was funny! Only issue is the game is pretty hard to play with a trackpad.

Very fun and well polished! It's hilarious to see all my broccolis ping off when I get overzealous with a slice of cake. Nice work!
Also I was terrible but I sent it to a friend of mine and he managed to get $7.75!

Guys this is such a great game! Well done! My only suggestions are to add some kind of visual score counter, and also a pause menu to restart the game (for when I know I've messed up). It's super fun and simple, it's hilarious trying to balance the food with the physics. Great job!
Oh! I really liked this one! It was extremely satisfying to play! Managing constantly moving food as well eating it was really fun, and all of the visual effects as well as sounds complimented the game well!

This was a nice short game. It was fun to mess around with the food.
A funny but perfect fit to the theme. Good gameplay loop with simple controls and good use of the mouse wheel. I enjoyed playing and will probably come back to try and beat my best score.
I actually found this really fun to play! very unique. Points taken off for graphics and audio, but only because they were nothing groundbreaking, not because you didn't have them or because they were not appropriate for the game. Really funny eating noises and quite challenging as well. Not sure if there's bugs with the scoring system? it would have been good to see how much everything was worth individually when you get the receipt back
Well now I am hungry! Is there a "No Shame" button so I can eat what I drop on the floor if it hasn't been more than 5 seconds XD
I played this one a fair few times, was very enjoyable! I did notice the baby carrots (I think) had a habit of just warping through the plate when nothing was on it, which gave me the idea to see not how much I could save, but how much I could spend :P. ~$200.00 in food wastage XD. Great job!

Game is very well presented. Lots of nice food art :) But gameplay was a bit uninteresting. The gameplay loop was very basic and there's no thought involved. Small nitpick, you say MMB to rotate food. But MMB actually means clicking the middle button. What you actually meant was the scroll wheel. That was a bit confusing. The game also felt like it lacked a bit of purpose. Which can be fine in itself, but it would rather have to be accompanied by a very fun gameplay loop where any deeper meaning doesn't really matter. Overall, very pretty and cute game, but lacking a fun gameplay or more substance.
This was great. The food flying everywhere when you hit it was funny. The sound and atmosphere is really good. The receipt at the end of the game is fantastic. I also enjoyed how the food waste is calculated to 6 decimals (I don't know if that was a bug or not, but it made me chuckle).
Ah yes, this is why I go to KFC.

yes! i got savings, finally. I guess it's quite a question of luck, if you do get the expensive things, to be able to save something? Either way. Such a great idea for this theme. How did you came up with this??? It's funny, the art looks nice, the background noises make for a fitting mood and the idea for eating so much as possible without spilling anything is so very well implemented into a game. Very nice! Oftentimes i am too quick with putting something on the table, and when a big slice of whatever is drawn my whole pyramid of food just tumbles or shoots away to the right. What would be cool in this situation, if with luck, i could flip food from the buffet directly on the table. It would save precious space on my plate. :)
I love the randomness added to the game so it becomes a game of risk if you wanna risk getting a really big food item or play it safe and go back to the table to eat, this is such a fun take on the theme and I loved it! the ambient noise of people talking and the eating sound effects were so spot on, the game is both difficult and not difficult at the same time depending on how you want to play, this is such a good submission for the jam!
Fantastic, fun, hilarious. When you get hit with that first spiritual MLK quote while being a gluttonous monster, I died laughing. Wow. The random food items dragged out is perfect as you never know if you can stack more.
This game was HILARIOUS! I loved it. The quotes, the mechanics, the audio, THE QUOTES MAN. So good. I kept finding myself trying to get a better run every time. The game gives you a lot of freedom with how you want to tackle eating as much as you can under a minute time limit. Very polished feeling for a game designed in only 3 days. Incredible work.

:joy: I was too greedy, so I tried to put quite a lot on my plate, and then I launched everything in the air by trying to put one extra thing on my plate.
Such a genius game and it was pretty funny trying to stack everything into one plate lol. I only managed to save $2.08 D: The quotes were also a bit random and really added to the humourous atmosphere!! Additionally, the artwork is so impressive, even more so given that they had less than 72 hours to produce that art. Amazing job!

Came for the food, stayed for the inspirational quotes. I did not save any money on my trip to the buffet, but alas I am sated. Really liked how you put the controls on the table and made it part of the ambience - it's a really creative solution. Ran in to a few small physics issues but it was nothing major enough that it hurt my experience.
Fun game and an interesting take on the theme I haven't seen yet. Would play again. Keep up the great work!
This was a very funny game - I absolutely adore the take on the theme, and the quotes in the game absolutely made me roll on the floor laughing on my first playthrough (so much so that I did quite terribly on the first run of not wasting food by accident).
It'd be awesome to also have some sort of funny music in the background, but I did find the background ambient diner noise to be soothing and calming, honestly. The overall vibes were great - and I'm glad I got to play the game. Now to try to stuff even more food on my plate each time...

The game loop was really satisfying, trying to cobble items onto your plate, and then switching to a clicker. I tried real hard and finally got a positive savings :) I call that a win!

We brainstormed an idea about building an unstable tower on a tiny platform, but I never imagined it could be about filling your plate at a buffet! That's hilariously creative. Also, you've hit the theme two ways: limited space on your plate, and limited space in your stomach (well, actually, it seemed to be _unlimited_!)
I found the physics to be a little too bouncy, but that was certainly part of the challenge.
Also, hats off to the UI design. That was *chef's kiss*.
I had a lot of fun just flinging the food around tbh.
This game was super fun! Flung food around violently the first few tries, the popcorn be lethal. Amazing graphics, would totally enjoy some background music and I'd be playing forever.

I love the creativity of this game, it perfectly matches the theme and is very interesting.
The physics effects are slightly "unusual," but they don't feel strange at all. In fact, they fit very well and maybe the author intentionally adjusted them to create that effect.
It's really enjoyable to play, well done!
This game is really fun and easy to get into, I think there were some points where the food was too big when dragged would knock off the other food on the plate or when rotating stacked food outside of the browser window would drag the window down, full screen would have been great. Great work all round, audio and polish of the gameplay.
An all levels this is great! The simplicity, the feel of the mechanics, and the humor is all top notch. You had me laughing out loud the whole time.

Great concept, very well implemented too! The graphics is so nice, shout out to the designer, it actually made me feel really hungry by playing this before dinner lol! The audio is also great, I like the eating sound and the swooshing sound, they're pretty funny and really add up to the humor. But it'd be awesome if it had some piece of music that typically played in restaurants going on in the background, that would go really well with the ambient sound of customers it had there.
The controls are really simple and straightforward, but unfortunately my scroll wheel was broken so I couldn't rotate the food, but the drag and drop felt really nice and forgiving, so nicely done there. Although sometimes I grabbed a big food and it just collided with foods on the plate and knocked them to the floor, so I think the plate should be placed further away from the food source a bit to give some "room" between them, that would prevent the issue from happening.
But overall, this is a very interesting idea for a theme like this, really enjoyed the experience I had. Well done on this entry guys!
