It's very fun! It took me awhile to get use to the robot behaviour loop, it is a very interesting concept. The art and music combined to a nice mood. The AI logic could be improved

sharked 2020-10-06 13:05

@aviv871 thank you for your feedback ! Yes I would appreciate to have a better AI but we were out of time to finish the game as we wanted. Even in term of mecanics :/ For sure in an other version we will fix this ;)

hakunasoft 2020-10-06 13:46

Nice game! Didn't get used to how the mechanics work as well, it's kinda weird, but it's a interest concept, it lacks a bit of polish, but still pretty good, nice work"

sharked 2020-10-06 19:38

@hakunasoft thank you for your feedback :) We are actually working on it and will send a post jam version soon. In fact, the difficulty will be adapted too and will increase later in the game, to allow time to get the mechanics.

Nice concept, I really liked the loop concept and the graphics. The mechanics and controls could be improved a bit but overall good job. I also created a robot inspired game if you want to check it out and rate it I appreciate :) https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/peter-carlson-pc-adventures

Really nice game. But so hard ! I kept playing for a while but too hard for me. The music in really cool too. Thank you for your game

curly 2020-10-08 13:26

@pink-shard-games Thank you! We'll definitely check out your game :)

quyndred 2020-10-08 13:57

@shubart Thank you, we'll definitely be working on the difficulty curve

quyndred 2020-10-08 13:58

@curly Thank you! ^^

So, I don't seem good enough to get very far. But the jump and movement feel tight. Music is good too. I guess if I were to suggest anything it would be to remove the game over screen. Seems like a game you'd die a lot in, and its discouraging having to wait each time especially when you keep dying almost instantly at the first section. Just respawn the player and in the end you'll probably play a lot more than you had planned to. Bold idea, well done

sharked 2020-10-08 14:49

@denzil-gomes Thank you for your feedback, we'll consider it for a post jam version :)

darcytimms 2020-10-08 20:58

Cute graphics, and great idea. Only thing I would suggest is making the game over screen not wait as long before going back to the menu, it takes a few deaths to get the hang of the controls, but other than that, awesome entry!

spawncampgames 2020-10-10 12:59

Fun little game. My only critiques are the controls are kinda odd.. The controls on the main screen aren't really enough to sell the Idea and even after reading the itch page, I understand the controls but they are very hard to master.. And as someone previously has stated you shouldn't have to wait longer than a second to restart the level.. Cheers! G/L on the jam.

sam-minh 2020-10-10 13:14

An interesting entry. The idea is really cool. The art and aniamtions are really nicely done. The audio and music are also very good. The controls, while unique are very unwieldy. There is too little control from the player to make the moves they want. And the level was very restricting my movements, I would always go the wroong way.

A very interesting idea that might work with some more tweaking.

edalbung 2020-10-10 14:01

Interesting glitchy concept! :D

Here are my feedback:

_Positive points - Stylized art style - Cool music and SFX - Great animations

_Negative points - Weird control system which gives an imprecise gameplay for me

Overall: gg for your work!

kewdev 2020-10-11 15:34

A very well fletched out entry. I especially liked the artstyle and the music! good job!

stellarbeargames 2020-10-12 16:24

Very good. I'm rating it on the jam version to be fair. Cute graphics, especially the robot. The mechanics are unique and fun to learn. My biggest gripe was the difficulty and I feel the character is too slippery. The post-jam version did much better with the difficulty curve but could still use checkpoints. Nice entry!

fish-sticks 2020-10-13 02:36

I really like the art and it is really cool. It was a really hard game and a cool concept. The only thing i would add is sound, I am not sure if there is a problem with my computer though.

danielblanco3d 2020-10-13 06:39

It is really difficult at least for me! I like the recoil after shooting. Amazing music!GLITCH_LAB.png

@stellarbeargames @fish-sticks @danielblanco3d

Thank you guys for your feedback !

-Sound : Actually we just set the volume lower because we didn't get time to add settings like that. Did you occur a different problem ?

-Difficulty : The point is that we had to create a very short game, and we wanted something hard finaly so it turns like that. May be it was a not a good choice for a jam version... But if the game was longer, the diffilty curve would be much better.

-Checkpoint : Consider that this level is a hard one, and the checkpoint is at the end :p But actually yes we should have some checpoint to divide the scene depending on the difficulty.

Super hard, took me awhile to figure out how it worked, I thought I had bugged it out at first :joy:

guimoliveira 2020-10-14 17:55

Cool game! :) Good job!

satolas 2020-10-18 22:26
