I love this game! DUDE!
At first i did not figure out how to play, but after some instructions, moving all the furniture seemed kinda fun. BTW sound are awesome
Really fun and energetic game haha! I love the theming and the music just slaps. I would say that the placing down mechanic seems a little wonky and I couldn't seem to beat the game even though I put all the objects in the square but it was still a blast to play. good job!
I love it when I dodge a bullet and my guy goes 'YEEEEEHAAAW'
Amazing idea using the theme.
I disliked how hard it was to place things. Maybe using the mouse instead of the player's facing direction to determine what direction to place things would make it easier to play and make it more fun.
Neat idea! It would have been nice to have gotten used to the controls while not getting shot at, ha, either like an easy intro level or just a practice space to pickup and rotate items.
"This town ain't big enough for both of us!" :D Really fun game! I like that vibe and main idea.
Game has a problem with precision furniture placing. I'm stuck on the second level, because everytime character overlaps place for furniture. But it's okay for jam project)
Okay you got me with the "There is enough room for both of us <3" x3 I really liked how you applied the theme to the game! My only gripe is that the picking up and placing mechanics were rather janky, it seemed like some items couldn't be picked up from certain angles, and they were a bit picky about how they could be placed down. Other then that, it was a fun game!
I love it! the style, the music, the design, and the cowboys. I played with xbox controller and it feels slippery, making it really hard to place things, also there are some times the bullet would go under the furniture, making it hard to dodge, and sometimes I couldn't pick the furniture in front of me (it happened a lot with the cactus at the 2nd stage) or it picked up a furniture behind the one I wanted to pick up. But overall it's amazing!
Neat (or is it?) retro cowboy game aesthetics which I like a lot and well played on the theme!
Had to connect gamepad 'cause keyboard controls are too tough for me.
At first I got confused by furniture that it isn't about it standing on the red area, but about image overlapping it 'cause of tilemap which is even more fitting considering the selected style. Great job!)
The cowboy theme is really cool. The background music is catchy. One issue I encountered is that sometimes I can't predict the position of the furniture after rotating it, which makes it difficult to place it correctly. Another confusion was that I could only pick up small boxes from the right side and not from the left side. Overall, there is room for improvement in terms of programming.
Cool and innovative interpretation of the theme! The pixel art is impressive for a jam entry as well. I think I managed to clear the red area several times but nothing happens, don't know if I should be doing something else. Also, it seems that when standing still on the right part of the level, you never get shot. But don't fix it or else I'll be way worse at it :D
Bloody brilliant - criminally under-rated. Love the concept, audio, music. Nice work!
Was pretty fun, controls were a bit weird on keyboard but I got used to it I was stressing out on that last level haha that was hard
