Absolutely loved this game! Even though I have a terrible memory I had a great time playing this, I only ended up getting 1 answer correct but the game is very well made, and the art is stunning to look at, it makes the game seem way more alive in a way. The audio was also very relaxing yet dramatic at the same time, this game was very well made good job!

Amazing artwork! Definitely a five on graphics. The coherence between components was outstanding among the works. Hard to believe that it was created within only few days. Nice job!!

nice artwork and story! I like how the detective vibe goes, though I quickly found that its more like a remember-all-names games lol. I was paying over attendtion to clues like dates, empty tank, etc. As this turns out I just need to keep records of names. Its still great works for a ludum dare entry, and nice job!

Really good idea! I finished in 4 days, I think. I thought that once I get the answer wrong I won't be able to answer it again, so I filled the paper with notes to other stuff and then answered the same questions wrong on the next day :D

Thank you! We made it so you could have a second chance because of A. To make it less annoying and most importantly B. We don't have enough dialogue written for that! XD

Amazing, the feeling is so cool, and there is so much to remember, and the look of the game is really creapy. Really nice game

So good, I like the art very much and the concept is intereting I think I will play this game more
Nice idea on the limited space of notes! Enjoyed the scenes!
Not being able to investigate the body (which was the first thing I notice) felt a little weird. I was too lazy to type (my fault). I wonder if it is a good idea to take notes by clicking the items, and the detective can only select what he took notes instead of typing what the player took notes when questioning.

@xlores-liang Yeah, there's still a lot that we could improve on! The amount of items in the game is definitely a bit limited. We made the input typing so that if a player somehow remembered the words without writing on the paper, they could also win. But this obviously has a lot of flaws, such as accessibility, game flow and cheesing, something we should've considered. Thanks for the suggestion!
It feels like the game needs more work :) Good start, tho. I'd like to see improved interrogation graphics and more objects to interact with.

really interesting and original. the main mechanic of the game, where you only have to write a few things to the man, frustrated me, but I persevered and didn't write anything down on the paper. it was then satisfying to catch the killer. great entry
We loved the artstyle of this game. The core mechanic seems really innovative for us, that was so interesting to write things we noticed around the living space as hints. Music was lovely, but the dialogue sounds was much worse, you should probably make it more softer.
Overall, great entry, well done!

I really enjoyed the note taking aspect! really cool take on the theme, the art style of the main rooms was awesome, overall really nice!
Really loved the art, and the limited note taking was a really innovative mechanic! Only thing I could say is that the sound that played during dialogue was not exactly appealing, but it wasn't the end of the world. All in all, great job, One of the better games I have played!
An unusual style and an interesting approach to the detective. You ask not to use a pen, but the names in the game are not so memorable.

Wow! Such a great game! The way it used the theme in so many different ways is impressive! I had a harsh time trying to remember the names that i couldn't fit in the paper. But after some days i could find everything i needed :)
I really loved the detective thing. Congrats!
This was awesome. It feels like a more serious take on the Ace Attorney games. I really liked piecing together the tragic story that was set up here. And the conclusion was really interesting as well. The actual game design was awesome too. I like the fact that you have limited space in the "notebook" so you have to shorten things, possibly at the risk of not remembering entire names.
The sound design was quite great too, and the dialogue was pretty well written.
This is a stand out title for me in ld54 so far. Good work.
The art reminds me a lot of little Nightmares. Well done!

Great atmosphere and graphics. Because of the piece of paper, you really felt the lack of space and this was a great solution. In principle, it was nice to play such a game).

Man I'm impressed. Everything about it is just great. The story. The idea. The art style. It's just a masterpiece of ludum dare.

DAAAM, awesome! Such an involving story, nice ambient music, style and heartbreaking ending... Earned my respect.

This was on point. Really great from the art, mood and design. I really got to learn how bad my memory is and I really had to get creative fitting my notes on the paper. Great work!

Nice take on the detective genre, only thing was that finding things to investigate didn't feel great. A little bit of feed back such as highlighting the interactable when hovering over it would have helped.

@binayas the cursor should change to an eye when hovering over an interactable object, but yes, we should've made it clearer!
