Tetranome by Random-storykeeper 2023-10-08T06:21:45Z

this was great, very well polished for a game jam game. I could totally see a mobile version of this game and getting sucked into it for a while

High Tide Heist by Remus 2023-10-08T07:06:45Z

Dang, this was a really nicely executed concept! The tutorial seemed like it could have been built more organically, but once u know the rules/mechanics it's a nice game. The graphics and music are also pretty well done. I don't think I would play it for more than the 5-10 minutes I did play it for though; it seems that at least at its current level there isn't much depth, but I could totally see this as a proof of concept for something much grander!

Face the Dice by Bastienre4 2023-10-08T01:33:59Z

this was really great!! The gameplay was surprisingly fun with a lot of different dice options to buy from the shop (though once I started multiplying multiplying dice together and then chaining them to star dice it was all over haha). The music was a bit strange but I think it worked decently well. I think my only real complaint was just the speed the game went at, especially with a 20 star win requirement. Wud love to see this game fleshed out

No Cats! by Raphiell 2023-10-08T06:17:57Z

great game, aboslutely nailed the mood and pressure that the AI overlords could bring. But seriously, the music brought a real degree of anxiety, the cats were really elusive but not annoylingly so, and of course I loved the graphics.

No Room in Hell by TomatoLamp 2023-10-07T19:51:29Z

I've never played a game with tank controlls so honestly it was kind of frustrating. I think the candle idea was interesting but in practice losing access to my escape route was the least of my difficulties, it was the monsters killing me due to the controls, so it felt kind of like a underutilized mechanic. But the mood was really nice, and I think the graphics fit the tone quite well. The cheesy voice lines by the protag were a nice touch haha

Shattered Spirits by Tobius 2023-10-07T20:07:21Z

First of all, props to making all of theses visual designs in such a short amount of time. Especially the spirits, all felt pretty visually distinct and the flavor text about each of them really brought them to life!! I felt the gameplay was pretty unique, but as others have pointed out, can be kind of confusing. The area that could be controlled by each spirit was hard to remember once the round actually started, and while there was tile colors to indicate what was going on, it still felt kind of obtuse because of the overlapping colors.

Homeonaut by Its_Capp 2023-10-07T20:53:07Z

So cuuute!! the visuals and humor were great, reminded me of a really high quality newgrounds game. The boosting mechanic was simple but effective, and i liked the variety enemy behaviours. The music was also pretty fitting, though i wish it looped more cleanly (I'm the composer for our game though so I totally understand how much of a pain it can be to get that to happen sometimes haha)

The Grave Shift by acarc 2023-10-07T20:39:58Z

atmosphere was very cool; both the CRT and pixel art graphics + SFX were very nicely done. I feel like the game itself though was kind of boring though? Like, the riddle idea was very cool, but it doesn't really provide enough interest to keep me hook. The breadcrumbs idea was also nice, but it basically just made it so if I took the wrong route I wouldn't be punished, but didn't really add any new interest

Quantumine Capture by VicoXue 2023-10-08T05:47:47Z

@ryusui It's not exactly like regular minesweeper persay. (Hi I'm the composer/audio person for the game). Tbf I don't totally understand the rules of the game 100% but basically there are a couple main changes 1. The placement of the bombs is not predetermined; they change as the game progresses. 2. It will both always be safe and ONLY be safe to guess when all tiles cannot be guarenteed to be safe (said another way, if you know there is a bomb on a certain tile, yet you still guess on a seperate tile, then you will hit a bomb, guarenteed). 3. Ties into the first one, but since old tiles can become reconcealed by revealing new ones, it can ruin the progress you've made in old areas of the map you've scouted around obsolete, so you have to be careful about revealing more tiles without ensuring your progress in previous areas.

Sorry, that was so confusing (like I said I totally don't understand the rules 100% myself), but I'm very glad you liked our game, even a bit ^^

@nanamaki thank you! I think our programmer did it very well! Also, me and vico both loved your game and art!

Space Bar ☆ Porter q(≧▽≦q) by Kuchinashi 2023-10-07T20:29:12Z

Great game! loved how each level had a lot of different potential options but only one (or maybe more than one??) worked, so it was up to player to figure out the correct sequence of moves! great puzzle platformer. The only thing that tripped me up was the game physics of the character, it felt like you gained momentum kind of strangely, which made jumps that at first glanced seemed impossible possible, so i got kind of stuck on a level haha

Before The Trip by Nilan 2023-10-08T06:30:02Z

This is a very simple idea executed fairy well. As others have mentioned, the amount of assests you all created in such a short amount of time is a true feat onto its own. Like, holy crap there were so many things. Also, I loved the little hidden interactions some items had with each other that let them be packed together?? (the only one I found was the toothbrush/paste). One idea I had that could add some more variety was maybe have different storage places with different items allowed in them? (for examples, maybe you have a tolietry bag, that only allows tolitries into it? I did also have a lot of trouble finding in the mission list, so maybe have them be highlighted when you put your cursor over their name in the list?

WHERE WAS THE FISH'S NAME. AND HOW DO U FIND THE COMPLETE NAME OF THE SHELL THING, THE NAME IS CUT OFF??

Devotion - A fairytale by daandruff 2024-04-16T02:41:40Z

Damn, this is really well polished for a game jam game! you really went all in on the vibes and aesthetics for this, and it takes a lot of confidence and skill to be able to pull that off! which I totally think you did! I also really appreciated the walkthrough, I did have to use it because it wasn't entirely clear which parts were interactable? I guess maybe adding something where hovering over interatable objects would light them up or play some kinda SFX? but really, over all great sound and visual design, great subtle storytelling, and great game!!!

Phasebound by Kepsert 2024-04-16T03:48:36Z

This is so good, I spent an embarrasing amount of time only for THE GAME TO FREEZEEE and i lost all my progress. I had just gotten to the battery platform concept. But anyways, yeah this is a really great game for a jam game. really creative use of the time tunnel idea, and incorporating it throughout in interesting ways. I do think was kinda frustrating at times, such as trying to line up the correct jump when you exit the tunnel. I think with some more lenient spacing, this could be a really great puzzle platformer if you wanted to go further with it!

Ethereal Transport Academy by Tobius 2024-04-16T03:15:11Z

this game seems really great, but I can't figure out how to use the pot/wax/chalk?
