LD49 — Unstable

Connection Lost by mvasko2 2021-10-09T22:15:31Z

Very original entry. It was quite tough, but I enjoyed it. Keeping up with the van was fairly easy, but the difficulty was in not losing health. The driving was surprisingly well made considering a jam game. Overall I am very happy I stumbled upon a driving game, good job!

Unsustainable by SaraJS 2021-10-09T16:56:04Z

Really fun! I liked how there are many viable strategies, it was entertaining to play through multiple times. It is little weird that the 'secondary' goal of raising as much people as possible is where the fun is for me, but I don't necessarily see it as a bad thing. There are some bugs here and there, but that is what to be expected. Overall very strong and unique entry, my best is 122 people saved.

KungFun BaLance by LuhUchiha 2021-10-09T22:37:01Z

Simple, yet effective! I agree with all the things others have said with the mood, music, indicator etc. One tiny thing I would do is unify the pixel sizes in the ui to make the visuals more consistent.

Bennet Froggy by Weirdybeardyman 2021-10-04T22:41:50Z

It got a little boring for me to keep doing the 'easy' first 30 seconds to get to the harder parts over and over again, but other than that it is amazing in every aspect. Very well done!

149th element by Soulo 2021-10-04T20:11:21Z

Cool game! I would appreciate a way to regenerate health though :D

Crumbling Down by JustCallMeBB 2021-10-04T21:41:59Z

For me the difficulty was perfect, not too easy, not too hard. I also like how simple the mechanics are.

The Theme is Unstable by Johnathan Peres 2021-10-09T21:41:39Z

What a fun idea! I would personally make the on/off little easier, I died a lot to it :D

Un-Stabled by Denhette 2021-10-04T20:28:22Z

APPLES!

@squimmy Great feedback, thank you!

@weirdybeardyman Thank you for your feedback! Yeah I struggled a lot with making the descriptions as short and understandable as possible.

5 Minutes by o_sim 2021-10-05T13:34:29Z

@justcallmebb You have a lot of great points, thank you! I think using symbols would really help, shame I didn't think of that.

5 Minutes by o_sim 2021-10-10T15:15:10Z

@vizitas Yeah, it's the other way around, reducing pressure/s also reduces temperature/s. I unfortunately choose too low resolution, so the description had to be very short and some of the buttons are confusing. Thanks for the feedback!

@apples-mmmmmmmm Thanks for the feedback! Music which would progress alongside the game would be amazing, unfortunately I am pretty bad at music(plus I ran out of time). Good job on winning, from the other comments it seems I made the game quite hard.

Unstable Isotope by Nafe 2021-10-08T22:18:29Z

Really well polished visuals: particles, animations, the screens, impressive! I think the jumping precision would be improved if the character wouldn't move faster in diagonals. Plus I would move the character collision detection to their soles. But thats just even more polish to already well polished game.

Reliable Reactors Co. by EthanZech 2021-10-08T21:14:46Z

Good one! I was suprised at the level of polish. Other than what others said I felt doing the math was quite pointless as it didn't have much impact, so I stopped doing it after while.

LD54 — Limited Space

Game Where You Kick Enemies Off A Platform by hopem 2023-10-02T20:43:58Z

Cool, I would make the enemies little more dangerous through, I only ever lost to the fireballs.

[ Space ] by Whirlwind 2023-10-02T19:45:00Z

Very original! Also, loved the seamless transitions to the next "scale".

Sun Runner by Ty Victorson 2023-10-03T10:15:59Z

I really like how there are multiple paths to finish and how you can risk it through the light to get better time. Have to agree that the controls are little too floaty.

Skypiercer by Caladrius 2023-10-03T12:07:56Z

Great graphic style, I only found the scale of the objects inconsistent. The characters are amazing. What set me back is that the bell puzzle only works in certain sequence, thought only the amount of rings matter. (Also who glued down the rope by the well :D)

Escape the Closet by TheWinrawr 2023-10-02T20:22:28Z

Amazing atmosphere. It is also cool that you have limited space in both the closet and the commands :)

Other than that, I think it could be cool if you had to turn the flashlight off in front of the monster or some other way for the monster to get you to keep you on your toes.

edit: ok, I didn't know the monster could get you when you make noise; before I only tried making noise at the beginning, when the monster is not that hungry yet :)

Parked? by o_sim 2023-10-03T09:28:41Z

@haydads Yes, hitting other cars is not penalized :)

Limited Parking by Krynxx 2023-10-02T21:18:13Z

Personally, the steering sensitivity was too low from me, especially when going from full steering from one direction to the other. Otherwise it was great.

Limited Space Cart by MajoMirez 2023-10-03T11:19:44Z

It seemed extremely simple at the beginning, but there is surprising amount of depth! I agree with the other comments that there could be better variety in the products, maybe they could be different shapes like bananas for example. My best score is 3600.

Running Outer Space by flowby 2023-10-03T10:37:40Z

Loved the sound effects :D I would make the background images darker maybe, to make it less visually busy.

Tiny Tower Defense by spazzylemons 2023-10-03T11:03:15Z

I found it great I could strategize with only two building types. And the difficulty is just right, not too hard, not too easy.

Spaces by Kippp 2023-10-03T09:23:31Z

Really good idea! I finished in 4 days, I think. I thought that once I get the answer wrong I won't be able to answer it again, so I filled the paper with notes to other stuff and then answered the same questions wrong on the next day :D
