Good job! I really liked!
Nice visual! Despite the amount of text, it took me a few minutes of walking around to understand the mechanics of the game. There is a small bug that you can do pretty much anything while having dialogue on screen, but that's not critical. Good job!
Nice work! Keep up!
I didn't know what to do with the sodium, but liked this science themed game!
Very cool take on the theme - I like the LD-specific naming, always puts a smile on my face.
@erikengineengineer, thanks for the note! I didn't realize how unobvious this mechanics is, and I added its description.
Cool game! I would appreciate a way to regenerate health though :D
Great game! I would have like to have some feedback on what I'm doing. Sound can be great, but also maybe a UI so I can see which element I am carrying. And maybe a reminder of all the things Dr Ludum told me, because he talked a bit much ahah x)
Anyway, it was fun and the concept is really interesting!
Awesome concept and love the pixel art. I agree that maybe a quest log or visual inventory could have helped, but it's definitely a cool little game.
Glad I wasn't the only one to make a game that has a pixel art guy in a hazmat suit. haha, great work. :)
@mathiouza, @nafe, yes, inventory and sound are the most important things that I didn't have time to add. But I'm going to add them in a post-jam version.
Sounds amazing @soulo! The game works without them so I wouldn't stress too much. Would love to get your opinion on my game too if you have time!
@nafe, now I don't have time, but your game is already in my list for weekend
Hello fellow physicist, from where you are and what do you study?
Nice game. It works well but some music and sfx (cc0 or open source) coulde enrich your game.
Another suggestion, try yo make the dialog box a little different from the background and/or a little transparent. It's good to differentiate what is the dialog, what is the game and help to navigate through the room.
Other than that, a very nice game and a lovelly lab. Congratz
@jaspior, hello, I'm from MIPT (Moscow), the department of molecular and chemical physics, what about you?
I agree about all the things you mentioned, but I realized that when it was too late. It's my first Compo, next time I'll know how to distribute time having 2 days instead of 3.
@soulo, I'm from USP (São Paulo University) and I'm doing my phd in the HEP area with direct dark matter searches.
It was just now that I realized that you joined in the compo, not in the jam That makes the game more impressive, congratulations!
For some reason walking diagonally made the screen shake a lot for me. The game was cool, but I got stuck on the sodium - I didn't know what to do with it. It would be nice if I could reopen last dialog or something, in case I missed information what to do next.
It's a realy cool theme usage! The pixel-art are good too and has a lot of mechanics and sprites for a compo. Congrats!
The art style is great as well as the story. Some more indicators of what I element I am carrying would be nice.
I cant get over how our games our so alike, good job!
The art style was pretty cool as low bit pixel art but need some more shading and gameplay was pretty cool. so keep it up :v:
nice work and wish to see further version!
