Game really shafted me on the first couple of play throughs hah Game was really fun to play and had me restarting over and over. Love the overall look and feel of the game. The game loop is simple yet satisfying. The map is just big enough to keep you occupied without being overwhelming. Really solid entry and lot's of fun :v:
It's pretty good, but I just needed to farm a bunch people into existence and build bridges. :P
I got 14 survivors. Good Game!

Hello Shaun. It's kinda odd writing a rating for your game while you are on stream. The the game is pretty easy but I did enjoy the heck out of building bridges into the nowhere and hoping my dudes would follow along into the purple portal.

I like how you can play it in different styles, at first I went headfirst towards portal and completed it in about 5 minutes, bet then second time made multiple villages and reached end with 30 seconds to spare  There was a problem at the very end though, I clicked space and error showed up: Unsustainable_0sbfp50IAC.png

Was surprised to see that shift clicking lets you select multiple villagers, because drag select didn't work for some reason. Still innocently fun doing crazy lines between landscapes in time before my deforestation destroys the island behind, and had a healthy laugh seeing everyone plummet after I had forgotten about the time limit.
Was a pretty enjoyable experience to run through. Graphics are cute and its a cool take on the theme. Nice one!
I liked it! The controls were really tight. I tried one run where I rushed the portal and got 31 people out, and on my next run I tried to build up as I went and made it out with 71.
Really cool! RTS games usually aren't my thing but this one kept me interested and engaged. Love the art and overall aesthetic, and while the controls confused me at first the game felt very easy and satisfying to play after getting used to it. The lack of any sound is kind of a bummer, though... it could really add a lot! Overall, really good entry :)

Watched on stream. Enjoyed the process. Graphics and visual design were really nice and the controls were smooth and well communicated. Audio feedback would have made a big difference and I encountered the bug where the level doesn't end when all the population are in the portal. Otherwise a really nice take on the theme.
Great game, didn't really understood at first but pretty fun afterwards
Very cool game, it's a pity that there is no sound here, it seems to me that the sounds of the wind would be very good. But in general, I liked the game.
As a patreon supporter, I'm probably a little bias but I really did enjoy playing your game! I had a moment where I said out loud "would be nice if I could select everyone in an area" and when I tried it and it worked I thought, of course Shaun thought of that :-P. Great visual presentation, overall really fun, and I would love to see you continue working on it and expanding it!
Interesting idea, good graphics and enjoyable experience
The game feels really polished and I could play it pretty much right away without any tutorials. The gameplay also nicely incorporates the theme and is quite fun. The drag select does not seem to work when not dragging from left top to right bottom. From my experience with making RTS games in GameMaker that is probably due to using point_in_rectangle(), which does not work if the coordinates of the rectangle are inverted. After all that you thought me, I hope this helps you ;). Great work!
Nice Game which is about a important topic of todays life!
Beautiful game. Amazing job for a compo game. I managed to get 19 survivors. One of the best games played so far. Congrats!

Really cool game and really cool to finally be able to play it :D Watching your stream while I was working on my own game, and seeing you take on this massively overscoped idea made me feel better about my own overscoped ideas :P
The game was really nice and very intuitive to understand. As Hare Software also mentioned, sometimes the drag select would not work. I also had a few bugs where I could not multitask my people. I wanted to have one team on gathering wood, and another on making bridges towards the portal, but whenever there were two bridges being made at once, one of the two bridges would stop progressing halfway.
Bugs aside I think it was a really enjoyable experience, and very rewarding to get people to the portal. I think the kind of choices you had to make were interesting. For example, do I go straight to the portal, or do I take spend some time and wood to get to this patch of trees of to the side. I liked that it was not immediately obvious which is the better strategy. (At least not to me) In the end I got 15 people out, but seeing other peoples scores this was apparently not that great. I blame it on the spawn I got XD
Really great job! I enjoyed playing a lot :D
Really fun and addictive, it lacks of sound. But the gameplay is perfect ! Unsustainable.jpg
Nice little experience and good take on this theme ! Nice replayability for all type of challenges, reach as fast as possible the end of grind and gather a maximum people (or two at once). Simple but effective gameplay loop !

Really fun! I liked how there are many viable strategies, it was entertaining to play through multiple times. It is little weird that the 'secondary' goal of raising as much people as possible is where the fun is for me, but I don't necessarily see it as a bad thing. There are some bugs here and there, but that is what to be expected. Overall very strong and unique entry, my best is 122 people saved.

wow @o-sim that is the best score I've seen!
It was super fun to watch all my little people run around and build infinite amounts of bridges until they safely make it through the portal! The art is fantastic as well!
