Hey just letting you know the link to your itch.io page isn't working!
Thanks. Should be fixed now
Love this game! The gameplay is very fun and I really like the art and animation. Very good entry, good job!
This was great! a little confusing at first but I found it really innovative once I understood the game.
It's a solid little game that requires a couple play throughs. Once you get it though it's a cool idea
So cool and fun, I like it))
Interesting idea! I giggled when half my screen went missing
I like the concept and I think this was a great take on the theme. I found the gameplay loop to be a bit off, it may have been nice to have some indication of what the next level would look like (something like a blueprint?) without having to walk out of the hideout and then find the right key to go back (side note, it would be nice to put the R control in your list of controls, I missed it the first time the game told me about it). I do really like the idea behind planning for a heist but only being able to bring a small amount of supplies, although having the larger limit between the levels was a pain, when I used my last grenade and then needed another for the next level I got a bit stuck.
Overall good concept, good art to go with it. Well done!
Neat game! I had to restart my first playthough because I didn't take any tools with me :)
i think it's better to choose items after seen the level
Hard to understand at first but once you get it, it's really cool! I didn't finish it, I got stuck at the level where the treasure is up there, I only had 1 big bomb. It's one of the best game I've played so far!
@rainssong I was hoping to have some kind of preview or level blueprint, but it was out of scope for the game so for now you can just load a level beforehand and immediately restart, since there's no real penalty for dying. (which is another thing I had hoped to add but didn't have time for)
Nice work, very polished for 48 hours! I enjoyed choosing which tools to bring on a heist, but like others have said, some preview of the upcoming level would have helped me choose the right tools the first time.
It reminds me of prepping for missions in monster hunter. I can see it being expanded into you getting the layout of the map before entering it and then choosing your loadout based on that.
I didn't like too much the fact that items spend cannot be recovered even if you fail the mission. I think it'll be more fun if items were unlimited in stock.
@koxsol that's a good idea. I was thinking of doing something like that if i had more time
Very interesting idea. The gameplay is quite intuitive and it feels so good coming up with unexpected solutions. The problem I ran into is that I ran out of explosives and was just unable to play anymore, so I think there should be at least one grenade always available or something like that.
Neat idea! It plays fairly well. Only thing missing is sound.
This entry had me pressing "V" at times to rock and stone... I agree with the previous comments' suggestions, as I too found myself guessing what to bring/losing my items a bunch. But the game's real fun! I Especially enjoy the diversity in items and emphasis put on the effects, they're great!
i achieved the ultimate victory... falling through the floor of the base! Glad I could reset the world, otherwise i'd been a gonner for sure. :D yay!
Impressive amount of functionality for a Compo! Well done. Fun addition of the "R" animation
