Game seems fine, but getting hit once stopped scoring which was quite sad painful
It looks and sounds very good, but it lacks polish. With a space bar, my camera flew out of the game area. And the wasd doesn't always seem to be read.
Nice vibes. I also accidentally discovered whatever spacebar does. The transitions between levels were pretty hard since I couldn't recover my motion or tell what I was going into, but the visuals and sfx were fun. Keep it up!
Nice design.
Immaculate vibes, awesome visuals. Very much enjoyed this one!
sound and video are amazing! i love it
I can't rate the game for some reason but I didn't really understand what to do, it seems there is a debug feature still in the game when you press Space, and after a minute or 2 the bot goes "if you leave me to explain" and I lose control. I'm not sure how to play?
Nice game super polished
It’s a really solid game. I genuinely enjoyed it!
this artwork is insane!!!
Loved the game's graphics, and the idea is solid. There are some hiccups there and there, like with the score stopping being scored, music not looping after a while and barely readable button text when you die from falling to the bottom. But still, it is very good for a first project :)
Pretty fun, good job!
Ran into the same issues other people were facing, but it had good atmosphere! Nice job! (P.S. the rules allow you to fix game-breaking bugs after the deadline, so consider doing that if it's an easy fix :slight_smile:)
I installed Wine on my mac just to test it, and because I thought it was like Geometry Wars. Love the title! And the graphics are 🔝🔝
Cool idea, though I didn't understand exactly what I was supposed to be doing (am I supposed to be going deeper into the blackhole? That seemed to just get a game over). Also the transitions between areas was a bit jarring especially when it didn't stop the play momentarily and sometimes would fall right back down.
Interesting concept and I actually wanted to play a bit more. I like the style of it. I seemed to have reached the "top" and couldn't do anything else, maybe I missed something or maybe it was a bug. I experienced similar stuff to everyone else but I do think this game has promise.
Nice entry! You could consider making the monitor a bit bigger; a fair bit of the game window is unused space. Keep going!
@binaryspark, Thank you very much for your comment! Initially, we planned to add various modules to the game, which were supposed to take up the empty space on the screen, but we just didn't have time(

Very stylish artwork. It reminded me of some classic space games in "Elite" series.
Voice overs and music are great!
Couldn't quite understand how to play at first, but then realized you have to keep recharging propulsion ability.
Though I think FX gets in the way of UI when you lose.

Well done!

I encountered the bugs the others mentioned, but I dig the aesthetic here. Simple, but very well made graphics. Also noticed that space bar moves your camera, not sure if that was that intentional? Congrats on your first entry regardless!
@vokietislt , thank you very much for your comment! In the latest update we fixed this problem. Points are now stably gained and saved to the best result
@yatsu , thank you very much for playing our game! We fixed the spacebar issue. Can you please describe the wasd bug in more detail?
@jordanfb , we were very pleased to read your comments! Thank you very much❤️ We fixed the problem with the space👌
@bismark , ❤️
@richardstampdev , thanks for the comment ☺️
@psih, glad you liked it!)
@0x-void-x0 We apologize for not adding a tutorial to the game. In the last update we fixed the problem with the spacebar and ship control. Thank you very much for playing our game🙏! It was a wonderful experience for us
@aynu , 😊❤️

@sarah-upton , thank you very much for your rating! Did you encounter any problems while playing?
@dazylude, thank you very much for the detailed comment! It is very important to us that our game has found a response from other players/developers❤️.
In the last update, we fixed the errors we knew about. We hope that in the next Ludum Dare we will be able to please people even more😊
@lectvs, we are very grateful to you for the advice (we participated for the first time and did not know about such a great opportunity).
In the latest update, we fixed all known errors👌
@airgameboys, thank you very much for such attention😌🙏!
Did the game run normally through the emulator? Were there any problems?
Can't seem to rate this game for some reason. Did you intentionally opt out of all categories?
@holyblackcat , There was a mistake to refuse grades. It seems we have returned everything back. Can you please check if you have the ability to give grades?
Yep, works now!
I really like the art style. The fonts in the main menu didn't load for me, but worked fine in the rest of the game (I'm on Wine, so maybe some fonts that exist by default on Windows are missing here?).

Took me a while to understand that you can move between layers by flying through the upper and lower edges of the screen.
Couldn't find the portals mentioned in the description, so if there are multiple levels, I've only seen the first one.
I love the art style! I also really enjoyed the cheeky ship-robot that was chatting me up on the side of the screen. My high score was 1300 :) :rocket:
I got very confused by the controls. Most of the time I played the ship wouldn't go forward. I can't tell if it was buggy for me or if I just didn't figure it out.
The game looks dope, however the gameplay was a bit boring, would have liked some more concepts, some enemies or some dynamism. Also to escape the green void, it almost need to be at the top of the screen but then we cant view obstacles ahead. Even if we hit asteroids, we still can survive by collecting health so its not really difficult, we can survive as long as we want. If the gameplay was good, this would have been a perfect game. But still this is the one of the best I have seen on this jam. Love the work!
The game looks cool, but I really struggled with it. And I think it wasn't only me. At least half of the times I got killed by the thing at the bottom right at start even if I pressed W as soon as I saw the ship. I just didn't gain any speed.
It would probably be good to have a second or two before the game starts, or that it start when you press W.
I never got to try the special ability, but I got the meter up to about half height once. So it's a pretty hard game, for me at least.
Though the lava/thing at the bottom probably was fair in a sense, as a gamer I would have expected the hit box to be a bit more lenient. So that I could skirt the edge without taking damage.
There were some neat bits, and it could become an addictive thing trying to get further and further, but with the start of each attempt being so unreliable it was unfortunately quite hard to get into it.
The sound and graphics were very cool though.
The splash screen was awesome, like something out of a AAA game. Also the HUD, visuals, music, etc. was great. Well done!
Cool aesthetic and visuals, also the sounds/track fit pretty well! In the beginning I had hard time navigating the ship, then it actually got quite easy (I didn't even use the propulsion, then checked and realized it's the Shift key)/ got to about 1000 points.
Very polished, well done on that side!
On the flip side, I was hoping a bit more of an action to follow. Also.. unsure if it's me but no matter how many times I got hit by asteroids, my ship still standed ;) so my only threat was getting swallowed by the black hole.
I would have *loved* if there was some kind of progression (or goal to reach). Overall, a cool entry.
EDIT: (rechecked the description) wait, waht? No new level followed for me when reaching the top?
My browser kept saying that the archieve with the game has the virus :)
I liked the art and once I got a handle on the controls it was fun. The jump between screens is jarring, I often times found myself in places were I don't expect on screen transfer. Congrats on completing the jam!
Congrats on finishing your first jam! I haven't tried something quite similar to this, but there are a number of elements that feel very familiar in that I've experienced them going wrong, too. I say that in a sense of comradery and love for the pain and glory of game jam :)
It looks great! The craft feels floaty in a nice way. Levels and screen transitions can be very difficult to get right in a jam because they have to be tested so much. Audio cues can be tricky, too. The sound design is great. You also kept it to short clips. The collision cue is just repeating a lot. I think spacing out the meteors would help the pacing and give time to read the left bar, but that's also something that comes out of testing.
This is a great first attempt. Please make more!
I love the graphical style. First impressions were poor - I kept dying over and over before I even had a chance to figure out the controls. If you don't immediately hold W you just die with a mess of overlapping voices. The ship was a bit tricky to control, Dodging the rocks was hard, especially when hitting one catapults you across the screen into others pinball style. Seems hitting rocks doesn't actually give any penalties, so I could just stay at the top of the screen indefinitely and the score counter just goes up.
Nice and super polished entry. I would have liked to see the text introduction with the ship in a "hold/hover" state before the game starts, as I was reading the "welcome" and immediately got sucked into the black hole! But otherwise, great graphics, sound and gameplay loop. :) PS I made a lot of "vents". XP
