I really enjoyed this, feels simple but is also pretty complex! The "burn everything" level was fun haha. Love the graphics, well done!
I really like the aesthetiks of the game. This calm music and minimalistic visuals are pretty. And the loosing effect, when the butterfly flies away, is perfect.
Nice puzzle game, I'm always impressed how people come up with these and manage to execute them in COMPO. I got stuck flower field level (third screenshot) and was little confused on how to control the butterfly with fire since it was moving kind of randomly.
I only noticed music thanks to previous comment. I shouldn't complain because at least it is not blowing your ears off but it could be a tad louder in my opinion (using speakers).

Everything works really well here, from the visuals to the sfx and music, and a fun puzzler to boot! The second or third fire butterfly level was really clever. Great job!
I really want to like this game but I cannot for the life of me figure out the rules for how the butterfly rotates. I might need to spend more time with it to get a proper understanding, but I got stuck on level 5 and gave up trying to figure it out. There could be a fantastic puzzler hidden in here that I wasn't quite able to figure out. :(

The idea and implementation are very good and the game really makes you think. The only thing is that the butterfly sometimes behaves chaotically, but that only makes it more interesting.
Like flat art style of this game, but some levels are too long. I would recommend to add skip for tutorial or speed the text appearing up. Puzzle tiled mechanic is done well!

Loved the image of plopping a whole tree onto the ground to scare a butterfly into a jar. The story and vibes were fun, and the puzzles were decent (if a little easy).

Good puzzle, due to the random behaviour of the butterfly, a few levels I went through just hoping it would turn in the right direction, so I was confused, although the tunnel levels, I found very easy because they weren't tied to luck.
Really fun puzzle game! The visuals and style fit perfectly, and the puzzles are well designed. Some mechanics took a bit to understand, but once I did, it was very rewarding! Great job!

Last few levels are surprisingly tricky! Interesting take on a puzzle game. I like how each tile has unique properties and you really have to think about the sequence of things.

I found this game to be really fun, the puzzles were quite hard but logical and I could get them done after a couple tries. I think one thing that could improve the game would be an "Undo" button, I found myself making silly mistakes right at the end of the levels and it was a little frustrating to have to do it all from the beginning each time.
The art is simple but pretty, it works well for the style of game. Same with the audio, the placing sound is super satisfying and the music is also relaxing. All of these features work great for a puzzle game like this one.

Thank you for this game! It's really cosy and relaxing. And i love the little details, likd how the text moves a little bit. The only thing that confused me at first is the reason why the butterfly avoid trees but the game does a great job making you learn its patterns. Great game!

Brilliant game! Really interesting mechanics, incredibly polished out to make a tiny, super enjoyable game to play. Loved also the blocky pixel graphics, really gives it a minimalistic aestethics. One of the best game I played so far!

It took me much more than 10 minutes to complete the 13 levels, lol! (around 25-30 minutes I'd say). This is a very clever idea and well executed. The graphics and audio are excellent, and the puzzle are great. I like how you introduce new mechanics (fire, new butterfly, etc.), it keeps the game fresh. Some levels were quite challenging, while some other were easy, it's nice that the difficulty progression isn't linear, it let you "breathe" a little to have easier levels between hard levels
You should keep working on the game and make new levels, it could became a commercial full game (either PC or mobile, or both!).
Awesome job with Butterjar! The concept of guiding the butterfly into the jar is super fun and creative. Loved the strategy involved in blocking and luring. Really impressive work!

It's a nice little puzzle game. It's a little hard to understand sometimes how the butterfly decides where to go. But the levels are easy enough even so. I like how it looks and sounds.
Whew, this gets surprisingly tough over time! I enjoyed it, though, and I've gotta admit I especially loved the "BURN EVERYTHING" map lol. This was a great variety of puzzles and challenges here! 🥳
