LD56 — Tiny Creatures

This game is a blast, and the voiceovers are hilarious! You can really tell a lot of love went into the sound design. And yes, tardigrades absolutely f**ks!

Great game - definitely really got into it. I really liked the different missions and the music absolutely slaps. I dig the art style but I definitely got slight motion sickness after about Wave 10. I can see this game being more fleshed out with the addition of upgrades and ramping difficulty. Congrats on the solid submission!

Super fun and simple to play! I love how the difficulty ramps up with the timer. The art and music are absolutely adorable. Great job!

I love the concept! It feels pretty fresh since I haven't played anything like it. The game is easy to pick up, but I was a bit unsure about how to defend my hive. Overall, the art and music are great. Nice work!

Tiny Creatures: A Nimkip Story by T C 2024-10-08T12:19:20Z

It’s a pretty novel twist on the classic Pokémon formula! I really like how certain moves depend on how many creatures you have left. Some background music and a bit more explanation on caring for your creatures between battles would’ve helped, but overall, I like it!

Deceptively tricky and beautifully designed cards! Well done and congratulations on submitting!

Burn EM‘ All by Lzic 2024-10-09T08:09:02Z

Pretty cool take on the theme. I love the idea of burning things with a magnifying glass. A fire/ignition effect, and perhaps even that fire spreading to other paper creatures would have been fun. Props to your team for submitting a solid entry!

Last few levels are surprisingly tricky! Interesting take on a puzzle game. I like how each tile has unique properties and you really have to think about the sequence of things.
