Pretty fun game! Controls got a bit frustrating though so I didn't beat it. I wish there was more control over the animals, it sort of felt like you were swinging wildly and just praying they hit what you wanted. Maybe I just needed to practice more.

It was a bit hard to get used to the controls, yes. Wasn't sure how what the rules were governing them :)
I didn't understand the name at first, but then at some point I had 20+ animals at my disposal, slamming into a bunch of rednecks! My favorite farm animal is definitely the pile of poo. The music is good too :)
really fun concept but i think the horse is a bit too fragile. i like the lack of control

Really fun game. There were some UX issues that affected gameplay. Scrolling when zoomed out is over-sensitive and sometimes animals won't join my death ball without having my mouse over them first. But overall fun experience; leveling buildings with animals was quite satisfying.
The last level only had 4 bosses and I could not finish it, I loved the game so much, very fun mechanic with the animal death ball, funny that there is random "poop animal". This was so satisfying, the level with most buildings was my favourite!

My nephews are probably gonna love this for a good 5-15 minutes...it's almost hilarious...the real singing is the best part...keep up the good work ducky-pooh! (That's what my mom calls ya when ur streaming on twitch as a duck character)...who knows? Maybe if you're "Logan Lucky" you can win this dare ;):D...

What a unique game... I tried to kill the first farmer with just the horse for a few runs. Was a bit put off, then I just charged through. Then I got a mob of animals following me. Then.... I kept playing. I am still not entirely sure on the exact mechanics (how you pick them up/lose them) but it feels a bit like gravity (and for movement). What I do know is I had a pretty damn big grin on my face as 40 odd animals were careening across the screen into anything in their path.
A pretty damn fun game
YES, YES, KILL THE HUMANS, MY ANIMAL COMPANIONS!
The audio is *so good*! The physics are definitely hard to get used to at first, but eventually I figured out it was useful for hitting multiple buildings (or fences) at once.

I like how you can recruit the poop lool
@z0rly Thanks for the feedback! The calculation for the deathball is a simple movement towards your left click point + momentum. The idea was to make the entire ball of animals feel unstable, since they all control their own momentum.
I also felt like the controls were a bit weird, which is why the first level has really awkward tutorial messages.
@nick-rafalski Thanks for playing the game! Fun fact, the pile of poo actually does zero damage, so in theory it's possible to softlock the game if you lose your starting animals.
@parafactual Thanks for the feedback! By 'the horse is too fragile', do you mean that it's too hard to control? Or that the horse gets knocked around by enemies too easily? When the deathball grows to 20+ animals, getting knocked around by 1 enemy is inconsequential.
@ghoulean Thanks for playing and the feedback! Scrolling and zooming is indeed a problem. I wanted to do screen dragging like Starcraft or League of Legends, but HTML5 games can have trouble capturing your mouse. Thus, I had to come up with a different camera control scheme.
@c64cosmin Thanks for playing! There should be 5 enemies on the last level; I did notice that enemies tend to get stuck in corners due to how their AI works. The problem with the last level is that the enemies and background are both red, so getting stuck in the corner is even worse on that level.
@mickm Thanks for sharing your experience! I think the structure of the tutorial level should have been flipped around to prevent players from getting bored killing the farmer (so deathball first, then killing). It seems like a lot of players get bored trying to kill the farmer.
Each animal just accelerates towards your left click with no distance checking, so they all have their own momentum. Picking up animals is just left clicking as well.
@peace-of-cake-games Thanks for playing! Controlling the ball is hard and almost tedious if you want complete control, so I found that it's just more fun to swing the ball around and see what happens!
@p-r Thanks for playing! The poop enemy was a late addition but probably has one of the best drawn sprites. It also does no damage.
i mean the latter @fakefirefly, but fair enough

I love how chaotic the game became the more animal you got. I enjoyed playing it nice job.
Very fun game!, played until the end. I was so much fun after gathering a few more animals. Camera panning was very "unstable" jeje could use some work. But besides that, very nice game

Who doesn't enjoy leading a mass of farm animals taking down human society? It's a fun concept and I really liked the chaotic nature of it, as your posse grows larger and larger. I only wish that there was an auto following camera. I had to zoom out quite a bit to make it easier to navigate, but then I felt like I was missing out on the artwork.

dude this game was crazy, but in a fun kind of a way. and dragging the horse around made me laugh.

Really picks up once your deathball gets big enough. Mayhem! Destruction! Horses!
Very fun. The one thing I would like to see is being able to control the camera with the keyboard. Great entry.
Took me a while to realize it's not just the horse you can control, but then oh boy... Starcraft deathballs are nowhere near as scary! Very fun! :D
This was a weeeeird one... congrats on the entry... let's call it an interesting idea
Fun
:purple_heart: :dart: :frog:
@pvp Thanks for playing! The chaotic feeling was what I was going for!
@blackquiltro Thanks for playing! The camera controls definitely need work. I wanted to go for Starcraft/League of Legends style mouse control but it's hard to guarantee users will fullscreen the game (so mouse dragging will work).
@kalevrk Thanks for the feedback! I actually briefly tested an auto following camera but it was very unwieldly and felt like it might give me motion sickness. The current camera controls aren't much better though, so I'll need to think about it.
@jcmonkey Thanks for playing! It gets even more fun once you're controlling more than just the horse.
@denhette Thanks for playing! I think the max amount of animals you can gather in-game is 64, but I've never checked. Possibly more on level 2.
@paroxysmal Thanks for the feedback! Keyboard controls would have been a nice addition. I guess I just forgot to include them since I got so used to mouse controls.
@ludokultur Thanks for playing! Yeah, the tutorial level should have been flipped around so the player gathers the deathball, then shows the enemy.
@purpledartfrog Thanks for playing! It was a weird idea for sure, and gets even weirder once you have 20+ animals swirling around.
Super fun game with cool animal sprites, but as already mentioned, follow camera would be a nice solution to try, because now you are forced to constantly pan the view (which is super sensitive, not sure if this just for me though). Final level is nice :)

My horse was mostly flying, which is was a quite original experience!
@kukurammus Thanks for playing! The camera is definitely super sensitive. I tried to scale the camera panning strength based on your zoom level. Unfortunately, the final result wasn't great.
@jeremyfa Thanks for playing the game! I hope you also got to the point where you get to control more than just the horse, since that's where the game truly starts.
Crazy fun concept, very unstable haha. I was going to suggest that a tighter grouping on the animals would have made attacking easier, but I think the chaos works.
Funny game. I like it a lot except for the music it made me crazy after a while lol
@magnusfurcifer Thanks for the feedback! The calculation for how animals group up is extremely simple (add speed towards your left click position) so there wasn't an easy way to tighten the grouping. Maybe one day I'll add a pro mode or something with tighter controls.
@mrnannings Thanks for playing! Yeah the music is a bit too loud and there's only 2 combat songs. I did try to break up the music by having a calmer level select track, which you hopefully got to by beating the tutorial.

This game is too confusing to play.
That was so much fun! Finished it ahah. I love the moral of the story : the many outweights the few every time. Great controls, I couldn't stop playing. Really well done :)

@betamorfosis Thanks for playing and for sharing your score! I tried to do what I could about the controls but they will definitely be improved in the next version.

I have no idea what this was :) Hard to tell if I was using the controls as intended. Music was pretty cool though :D
Fun concept and poor horsey! I would like to have the posiblity of adding power ups if I hit the right things, something between monkey ball and pool.
@nyxkn Thanks for the feedback. The game is about breaking stuff with the big ball of animals. I hoped the fun part would be self evident, but apparently it was not. I hope you made it past the tutorial when the game actually starts. Glad you liked the music at least.
@binaryprinciple Thanks for the feedback! That's a neat idea, maybe I'll try and incorporate it into the post-LD version.
Funny mechanic, when you get the hang of it. And very unstable :) Good job!
Holy shit, this game made me feel like I was going absolutely insane. Just a big whirling blob of animals smashing things. Between the swirling mechanics, the camera controls, and the kooky music, the game definitely sucked my brain in and wouldn't let go. I played it all the way to the end -- my score was 511.59 (LOL @ the score having decimal points in it). Once you get a big enough deathball going, it's not too hard. I found it easiest to just zoom out all the way. My eyes kinda hurt now but man I had a great time playing Giant Horse Deathball.

Ah that was fun! XD. Even the poop came along. Smashing everything felt great. Awesome entry. Keep it up.

I almost stopped playing at the first enemy, had way too much health when just having one horse. The music loop drove me a bit nuts after like 20 seconds :P Other than that, really funny idea and it felt VERY satisfying to rush through the levels once you hit a kind of "critical mass" of animals. Good job!
