The controls of this game were so tight! I just ran and jumped around a bit before I left the starting room. But I don't understand, how do I shoot anxiety at people?
Lol. It was a very interesting game. It was nice to see a unique concept explored. I feel like it could be expanded into one of those short but profound games. Like if you had more ways of helping people, but had to work around all your anxiety to do so, or just leave the party to safety.
The art was good too. It was simple, but I feel like it fits and serves the theme and message of the game.
Very good :D
This is a pretty relaxing game. I appreciate the difficulty curve, and how there is no stressful time limit, and nice music. The levels keep me interested in going further :)
This was so good! Simple enough to jump right in, but with some depth and juice to get you going! There are too few fun little games that are easy to pick up for a few rounds. Reminds me of games back in the day. Great work :D
Took a bit of time to get used to, but once it's uniqueness was allowed to shine, it was pretty fun. The pace seems a bit slow, but once you figure out the powerups it starts to flow nicely :)
@roidz try picking up the third sheet of paper on the table and trying to put it in the statue near the green crystals :D
@bismark Thank you! I wish I could have gotten in some nice tools, like syntax highlighting, but at least you can copy and paste into an external editor! lol
@ryanjavanshir Thank you! I did the whole thing on a stream, in 25 hours because I had to leave early >.< @nam-nguyen If I make this into a whole game I really hope to get highlighting and stuff in there. I don't want to make it a pure visual scripting system, as there are other games like that already, and I am aiming to make this slightly more advanced than those. There was a game awhile ago where you made spells with Java code, so the idea was kinda like that, but with a magic golem :D I need to practice more with art. I know the ground is not the best but I was at the limit of my skill with the timeframe, lol. Thank you for checking out my game! If you can make a single script that does everything, let me know! lol
@ryanjavanshir That sounds fun. At my old job we used evolutionary algorithms to alter parameters for creature generation (check out Darwin's Demons on steam) and that would be somewhat similar. It could be interesting if a game was built around exploring that possibility space.
This is really good! There is just so much here and it makes me miss the days when RTS games were coming out! Lol.
I had some error when I alt tabbed, but those went away when I restarted again a couple times.
Only problem is probably my own fault, but I feel like I should be able to clean up the goo somehow. But whatever, I only noticed because I ran out of space! lol! :D
This is cute and almost addictive. I spent a bit more time on it than I should have. Only note I have that could make it better would be to make the first couple of days a bit easier. It looks like you already have the mechanics set up so you can increase the clutter over time, but my significant other hated me so promptly the first few days! lol.
Good ideas and execution. Glad you are working on it further :)
This was a fun game! There are a bunch of fast paced room shrinking games this dare, and I was thinking "Someone should make a game where you get bigger!" And here we are, and it's a slow paced game with a bit of thinking required. It looks good, it plays well, and the music gets the juices flowing! Great little game :D
The music is TOO POWERFUL. I need some powerups to match this adrenaline rush. Seriously great, just needs more juice and flare! Great little game :D
Leaving a second comment, because I wanted to favorite the game. So good <3
This was a fun little bullet hell game. Probably the second I ever played. The controls were responsive and quick, very nice. Took me a moment to realize the boss was the green thing at the top of the screen, lol. The iteration speed was probably the best part. A couple of times I pressed R and started again without even thinking, like it was just another level. Which is very good! The graphics were hard to see. The contrast between brown and green is not very high, and the bits of transparency inside the projectiles did not help. This made them tougher to see and manage from peripheral vision. The on off blinking of the boss was also somewhat distracting. I think it could stand to start a bit slower. The initial firing and enemy tempo is quite high, but manageable. Overall it was nice. I enjoyed it. :)
This was a nice little ship management game :) I had never actually played one before, but there was a nice tutorial to help me out! That was really thoughtful and shows you took the time to think this all out. Well done :D
The error margins on the jumps are definitely a bit fine. After the little tutorial level a new and core mechanic is introduced, while the difficulty is simultaneously increased. Not good. The art and music is very nice. The art mixes with the gameplay style, but the music seems to be geared more to a relaxed game.
This was interesting and fun! Definitely spent more time playing it than I had thought I would. lol.
The only improvement I would make would be some particle effect near the edge of the universe, just to remind the player that the universe is shrinking. I had forgotten and thought it was kinda turn based for a minute.
Very good :D
