i say a solid first entry, control feels ok, graphic also clean and consistent, gameplay could have more variation, but overall well done !

@ghen Yeah. I'm agree. :) But the positive side, it's there is place for improvement !
Thanks for feedback.
A nice little entry. A bit slow paced, but nice. The artwork is adorable, and the audio work matches the overall feel. You can be proud of this first entry.
I didn't really like this game. For the first entry it's servisable but it could be a lot better. Still, good job.
@omniorcus Thank you for your feedback. Yeah. I'm proud of this little game. For the slow placed, an improvement in the future is to spawn object to be more fast or more low.
@alexkarate The goal of this little game was to learn, I'm agree it could be better. Thank you for your feedback. :)
@quorusa I would recommend adding something to be a danger for the player. Nothing serious, just something for the player to be kept motivated to keep moving. Maybe a timer or a thing that eats your plants if it stays too long alive.
Good entry for your first ludum dare. Are you going to keep working on it?
@alexkarate Yes. It's a good idea. I thought about a lot of improvement but not about danger. I thought for example at third day, weeds move. But just that. And if weeds move they can eat flowers to use your idea.
Thank you for the idea.
@stefan-jovanovic Thank you. Yeah. I want keep this idea and improve this. That's why I take all feedback and ideas. :)
Nice game for a first time! The sound effects were quite nice which worked well with the art. All in all a nice little game!
@svarttand Thank you ! I must say that I'm proud of my little "Good job" at the seventh day and the "Oh no no no no" when it's game over. Ahah ! :D
Nice idea, it needs a lot of work of course, but it's not easy for a first time. So well done :)
Also, you should change you bitbucket link from https://C_S@bitbucket.org/C_S/ld42.git to https://bitbucket.org/C_S/ld42.git Because now it throws an error when somebody wants to have a look at the code.
Cheers.
@hakro The link you proposed gives an error.
So I put the source code in the Google Drive with the executable file. Thank you for your warning.
Yes, it needs more work. :)
Thank you !
(What was your error ? When I'm log out I can access to Bitbucket, but the error is because there is nno readme.txt. But when I click on Source I can see the files and the code)
Good job on your first LD! This is my first as well. Also, good for you for learning MonoGame! It's my second favorite framework besides using Phaser 3 now. I'm sure you'll be able to use the knowledge you acquired to build something great!

Good Gaming Idea, Music needs to be improved Graphics good
@jared-york Thank you ! Phaser 3 is for HTML 5 if I understand. It's seem good. Maybe I'll try this framework. :) Thank you.

Thank you for your warning. :)
@awix Thank you for your feedback. Yes, I want to improve that too. :)
Hey! Congrats on your first Ludum Dare. If you keep on participating you'll notice how much you'll improve.
Great first entry. The game is a little bit basic but I liked the idea in relation to the jam's theme. The artwork is pretty neat as well!
Great job.
Here's a little something:

Grats on your first ludum dare, keep at it.
Only complaint is how slow the movement felt. Also the music was a bit repetitive, but again congrats on the jam you nailed the theme.
@posho Thank you ! yes, I want participate next LD. :)
I wanted basic game to have the opportunity to improve it. :)
Ahah ! Thank you for your picture ! Very fun !
@g4mr Thank you !
For the movement a possible improvement is to spawn object which help to go faster or lower. It's noted !
Yeah, I note for the music too. I'm agree with you.
Thank you. :)
This is a solid first entry, especially for using monogame and not an editor! Take a moment to write down what you'd do differently next time, so you can start to make good Dare habits :) Don't let any of this discourage you, but here are some things I noticed: The weeds can sometimes spawn on top of flowers. I don't know if this was intentional, or not, but it looked a little strange. Also, when the game resets, I don't think the day counter is reset at the same time. When I looped from the end of the game to the beginning, the day 1 field had a lot of weeds, as though it were still the last day. I also think there's something off with the hitboxes or hit detection. I could only collide with the weeds at their top and bottom borders, and only with my top and bottom borders. I eventually got the hang of it, but it seemed wrong. The art was very cute and the sounds were good (though some variation in the picking noise would be nice). The music was pretty repetitive, but I think you know that.
@incobalt Thank you. I want to learn how it works. It's a great idea to have good habits. :) No, it's not intentional that weeds spawn on top of flowers. Oh... I didn't know that, thank you. For the hit detection I knew that there are just top and bottom which are detected. But it's not intentional, and this is on my list to correct this. Yes, I know music is repetitive, but it's good to have confirmation. It's a good idea to have some variations of noise. Thank you for your feedback. I really like that.
Tried to rate, but no Mac or HTML version.
Good work for your first game! You've been given a lot of good feedback already. One thing to add is that some animation would go a long way - mostly for the player, but also things like the plants swaying back and forth, or the weeds crumpling instead of just disappearing.
Keep at it, hope to see what you come up with in the next Ludum Dare!
@chadrbanks No, I wanted to make it simple. But I'll inform me for the next time. :)
@rjhelms Thank you. Yes, it's a good idea. I wanted to check that for this game but it would have taken a lot of time. It's something to add for the improvements ! Thank you for your feedback ! :D
Not bad for a first entry! Nothing to really add that hasn't been said already - movement felt a little slow, a little animation could be really cool next time, etc. I did also like what you did with the theme.
It seems like you have some good ideas on what you'd improve next time (or if you keep going with this) - that's awesome. In my case, taking the time to think about things like this helped me a lot over my entries. (One other tip: playing with the tools you use to make the game in the weeks leading up to the competition helps more than you'd think) I think that is going to help you a lot; so keep it up! :)
I suspect if you do another one of these at some point, you will be surprised how much more you are able to do in the time given. Thanks for a fun entry.

@cppchriscpp
Thank you ! Yes, I have a lot of ideas to improve this little game. And I have a clearer idea how to make futures games.
Yes, this time it was not prepared because I knew the last minute I can participate to this Ludum Dare. But for December, I practice my skills and organization of the code. :)
Thank you for your tips and feedback ! :)
