Very good. Ships should have a little more durability, and a few seconds of invincibility when re-spawning. But overall the idea for the game is creative and fun.

@ryunigia @firepit-games I have had quite a few comments from friends about the spinning, which I’ll look into changing in the next update (possibly removing the effect and adding a switch to turn it on).
I have also thought about how I can make it harder to fall of the edge, as it is makes the game harder for the AI which will quite often just fall off due to misjudgment. The current plan is to add a rim (which I noticed is a feature of real sumo rings).
I also want to lubricate the wrestlers so it is possible to break free from their pushing when you are weak.
You may also notice that the paler your color, the less push force you have, I should probably update the description to explain the underlying mechanisms in the game such as this.
Related to the game mechanics are the different AI personalities which follow simple behaviour. Red (Pushy): picks a random target and pushes into them until they are eliminated. Orange (Pokey): same as red, however they will stop pushing when they have gotten weak and will run in a straight line away from the target until either they replinish enough energy or reach the edge of the ring. Purple (Scaredy): picks a random target and runs away from them until the target is eliminated. When they reach the arena edge the will run straight for the centre until the enemy gets near them.
Interestingly enough, the mix of personalities ends up with very interesting behaviours which I am trying to understand so that I can make an AI which can act as a party pooper and break up mosh pits.
Love a good old text RPG
Not sure how to heal, but otherwise a great game overall
Very interesting idea for the theme. I love the retro look of the game
