Wow, you guys got the WebGL embed to work! It looks like they have some work to do, I had to scroll to show the fullscreen button. I couldn't get my game to work at all on the LD embed.
I REALLY like this concept! Having 10 seconds to find something based on the picture and the map is like some Hit Man Geoguesser. Super cool! My only feedback is make me more powerful with every kill! And sometimes there was no way I had enough time to get to the target. Maybe have a cap on distance based on move speed?
Only other suggestion is some tutorialization and quality of life features.
Great game!
Really cool idea, it would be nice if you could just right click or something to infect someone instead of having to wait out the timer.
Nifty concept! I found flying through the air to be kind of fiddly -- perhaps making the parasite home in on people would help there. My only death was because I missed...
I'm partially colorblind, but I didn't have any major issues. Perhaps there could be some textures to help differentiate things, but that might wind up making the game too easy. It was already pretty straightforward to figure out where to go on the map!
nice start, i think 3rd person view might have worked better so you could see the parasite dangling from their brain!
Felt like a plague flea, thanks for this wonderful experience!
Unique gameplay and concept. I also really appreciate when people go the extra effort to make a first person game during a jam which is much more difficult to do in the timeframe of a single weekend
Nice game! The idea of being a parasite looking for the ideal host is quite cool. The way everything else is frozen reminded me of superhot. The jumping mechanic was a bit weird (I wish I could enter the new host immediately rather than waiting to fall down), and it was a bit hard to learn how to play (I originally thought I could *only* enter the target host). But overall, great game! I can't fault a game for being a bit unpolished when it was made in 72 hours.
Interesting puzzle mechanic. Could use some qol but nice work
The colored buildings are a cool way of hinting at the target's location
Really interesting idea. There were a couple spots on the map I could not reach in the time limit, not sure if I missed some sprint button. Either if I moved faster or the map was smaller might help that. Also maybe consider multiple levels of failure. Instead of 'the timer runs our game over' maybe the player losses point every 10 seconds they don't find the person.
Really nice, but could have used some instructions
I like the concept, but the collision for whether or not you hit a new host on the way down could use a little tweaking haha, your game is fun though!
Neat idea :) Controls and collisions feel a bit clunky but other than that very nice
