Surprisingly complex for what appears to be a simple game at first (such as leading off dogs with the bone). Music and aesthetics pair well together to create a really cohesive experience. Only personal nitpick I can offer is a wish for an easy mode where the cats can't be run over by cars :( :( :(
Great sounds and music. Everything fit together great. I also felt bad for the dead kitties, haha. Overall, really fun game though.
This was my favorite game I've played yet from the art to music to just gameplay it was well done! 5/5! Just quite difficult...

Rhymes with "chicken dinner". This game is outstanding! I love the art style, mechanics and overall vibe of the game. Even the menu is very nicely done.
I tried so hard to get will home, so many times, but it takes luck to get across that road with bullies on the other side, and gramps is quite the shot! Great job!
I like the idea of the game and the art is very fitting. To me this feels like paperboy in nature. Unfortunately I could not get past gramps.

Awesome fun and imaginative mechanics. Tunes were really nice too. Like the others said, the difficulty curve is pretty hard haha. Maybe if you would like to keep working on it, introduce the 'enemies' more slowly to teach the player how to avoid them then ramp it up from there.

Argh, this was pretty hard. But it was the fun kind of frustrating. Played it for quite a while, really wanted to beat it but in the end I failed even when I realized that having more cats aren't necessarily better (in fitting with the theme). Good game!

IT LOOKS AWESOME : you need to fix it and make it an arcade game with a good feedback loop ! Graphics are awesome, the sound is great, it is really inviting, event the main menu is awesome ! I didn't spot if cats made you slower ? The animations when you get knocked over or smashed on the road are hilarious! However the road takes a lot of space, and the spawn of the cars is really random and quick: you should moderate that by adding a flashing sign and a beeping noise before the car spawns. Keep working on it !
BTW for some reason your game is not playable through the itch io app; you should check , it lowers the barrier of entry.

Very funny and addictive game! Good job! It woud be nice if the game punished you somehow for having too many cats so it would match the theme better.
@eretzoum The game actually does punish you for having too many pets. The more cats you have, the more damage that can be done to you. Any old cat can die and nothing happens, but if your loved cats die then you start getting sad.
There is also code that changes the view distance of a few enemies based on how many cats you tamed. Unfortunately it's not really noticeable.
