thanks, I hate it! by thristhart 2017-12-05T04:49:20Z
Pretty fun! It's strikingly similar to Space Team.

Pretty fun! It's strikingly similar to Space Team.
This is actually a really good game! The music (I'm going to assume it was pre-made) was set up nice, especially when you die. It's a pretty quick and fun game with a decent story to it.
That's honestly amazing talent! Nice work! :D
This is a very solid idea, would love to see this go a bit further. Needs a lot of polishing though, it feels very clunky at the moment, but it's still a great game!
It's a bit confusing at first but in general it's a solid game idea. I've always like some rng in games, and this one does it correctly.
I use Game Maker Studio 2 myself so I can respect the engine use! The game itself is pretty good, it definitely needs some sort of direction of what to do in the game, rather than having to find out on the game page itself. I do recognize it's difficult to make an RTS game, especially making AI for an RTS game, so for three days you really did a good job on this!
Ended up piling up too much stuff and getting myself stuck in the pit of grey rocks. Could have made the ship a touch faster in the beginning but it's still a really fun game. Had my attention for 30 minutes lmao.
Honestly a great game. The art style is satisfying, the destruction is simple and fun, and controlling the dragon is a bit tough but it's really still a blast!
Honestly I love the art style. Something about the 2D sprites used in a 3D gives it a unique shine to it. Apart from that the game is obviously unfinished, but for what you got done it's a pretty impressive game!
It's a nice match up game! Would have been neat to see some variety in the blocks (maybe the presents can drop some sort of powerup?), but for three days you crammed a bit into this game. Definitely a nice game.
The game really needs some clarity on what you need to do and what is happening. I got a bit confused about what I was supposed to do, and I got stuck on why the game was ending because it seems to happen randomly. The concept itself is pretty nice, and the game performs pretty fluently (aside from the AI getting stuck every now and then, easily fixed by changing the action then changing back). Nice work!
Love the humor of the game. I would add some difficulty scaling, kind of throws everything in your face at once. Still really fun to play. Nice one!
Pretty fun game! Definitely could use some way of reducing your garlic level, but the game plays nicely (and most importantly glitchless) and it does fit the theme perfectly! Nice job!
The game is pretty enjoyable! Car mechanics feel smooth and slides nicely. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but there is only one car, but still pretty enjoyable! Nice one!
Definitely reminds me of STL, it is pretty fun though and definitely requires some strategy.
Very nice game! Could use some work mechanics wise but the art style in this game is fantastic!
I feel like the game moves a bit too slow. Gets boring really quickly if you constantly fail a certain level. It is a great concept for a game, great work!
Hey man not too bad.
To make a card game in 3 days is quite impressive. It feels good and the graphics are nice. I'm a bit biased towards card games because I generally don't enjoy them, but this one is pretty neat <3
A pretty good game, could use some work on the AI and spawning locations (enemies spawned right on top of the player). Overall I do enjoy these kinds of actiony games, definitely try to add more to this and make this a complete game!
The combat could use a bit of work, aside from that it's a nice concept and you set the mood up pretty well for the type of game you were trying to deliver. Nice one!
This game is pretty goofy. Controls are a bit too slidey and theres a glitch that causes you to not stop after stopping for more passengers. Still the game is pretty funny and kept my interest until the game ended. Nice job!
The outside room glitch got me but the game plays well for what it is!
Kind of reminds me of the Stardew Valley arcade game, mostly because of the tile. Nice game though really nice job!
The game got stuck on retry. The game play itself was pretty enjoyable and the 'controlling more than one' mechanic is pretty neat.
It's a bit clunky and super short, but the art style and idea of this game is fantastic! Definitely should consider adding more to this.
@eretzoum The game actually does punish you for having too many pets. The more cats you have, the more damage that can be done to you. Any old cat can die and nothing happens, but if your loved cats die then you start getting sad.
There is also code that changes the view distance of a few enemies based on how many cats you tamed. Unfortunately it's not really noticeable.
The game itself is pretty interesting, it's very similar to another RTS I made. The game was a bit confusing at first, but I quickly learned the game and it was clear enough that I could finish the game. It definitely needs some sounds and effects to give clarity to what's going on, but concept wise it's a pretty great game!
A very nice game! Would recommend on making the player mechanics feel more responsive and fun, as it felt a bit clunky. It is an enjoyable game though, definitely something to be proud of!
One thing this game needs is clarity. It's hard to tell exactly what's going on. The bullets are hard to see, can't tell who's taking damage, and not entirely sure what I'm supposed to do.
Overall it's still a good game. The concept itself isn't too innovative but you did it well enough that it's still pretty fun. I would recommend adding brighter colors to objects that matter so they stand out from the background, add more sound effects and particles to show what's going on, and an explanation of the game inside the game. Great job on getting this done in 3 days!
Honestly any voxel game in a Ludum Dare is impressive, and this one is pretty fun as well. Nice work!
Love the concept, made it into a fun game, nice job!
This game is beautiful.
Just a heads up your Itch.io page isn't up.
To be honest this is a decent game. There are a lot of glitches, and the game really needs sound effects, but the setting and what you have built can be a really cool game! Keep it up!
The game is pretty nice. However I don't really see why it's a bad thing to level up?
For a 'product of laziness' this a pretty good game for three days! Nice job!
Almost hypnotizing.
The game itself could use some work on clarity and difficulty. It's a bit difficult to know what's going on and how to stop it. The game itself is very innovative and I definitely think it could be a really fun game if you decide to put more work into it! Good job!
That's a really great game actually! Could use some scaling, the windows a bit small and it's hard to see. Over all it's pretty solid. Nice job!
Honestly the game is fantastic. Controls feels nice, physics look good, feels like an actual retro game, music is fantastic. Good job!
The first part was a bit slow, but the increase in speed was enough to keep my attention. Everything else worked just like you'd expect and all in all it's a pretty good game. I also remember this from a while ago with you saying you started late, so I can give more props for that.
This is a great game! There are a few annoying glitches here and there, but nothing game breaking (mostly just the gun shooting on its own, and having to click to toggle it off). Everything feels smooth, the game is juicy, and the sounds all fit together. Nice work!
This is actually really cool. Love the fluid art style and the concept! The AI seems to cheat by retreating behind the screen, and the game is a bit laggy, but other than that this is a really promising game!
Great job! I love the style of the game, really pretty looking.
It's a bit annoying trying to drag the enemies towards the cards, would be nice if they would follow you a bit farther. I really like the concept and art style though, great job!
EDIT: nvm just realized
This is really cool! The graphics are pleasant and the gameplay is unique. I would recommend pointing the light downwards so the depth perception isn't a bit skewed, but other than that it's a great game.
I like the style, and the humor is appreciative. Great job though!
Nice work! Enemies should occur more often, it felt more like I was dodging the scenery and every now and then killing a monster. Other than that the graphics are nice, the sounds are pleasing, and the mechanics are smooth.
I heavily appreciate the bird puns. Fantastic.
Kinda wish the game was a bit more fast paced, but it's pretty neat as a concept!
Good job! I was a bit confused what to do at first, I eventually got it. Could definitely use some clarity on what certain things do. Also you should speed up the gold collecting a little bit. Other than that this is a good game, I really enjoyed it!
This is a great game! Really cute, not too hard (although maybe a bit too easy), and the graphics are nice. It does feel a bit clunky, but honestly it's really well done.
This is a really cool concept! Graphics are nice, the mechanics are fleshed out and not clunky, and the music and sound effects are nice. Great job!
Looked like it broke after the third wave, either way it was a lot of fun! I like that I always felt rushed to activate/switch the towers based on the situation, the voice acting was great, and the scale of everything was really cool.
This was absolutely fantastic. Great job!
I would recommend making the player faster than the goblins, as you're already in a disadvantage by making it a 1v2, but it was still pretty fun. The platforming could use some work, and the animations need a bit more fluency, but other than that it's a pretty good game!
@mrspeaker Absolutely, I can't do a build for the original version but I can make a build of the bug fixed version. Give me a moment EDIT: @mrspeaker unfortunately looks like I would need a linux/mac system to port it. Sorry!
@mrspeaker There is a video on the Itch.io page, it's poorly cropped but it sure is there!
This game is actually really fun! The beat mechanic could use some work, or the song could be changed, but other than that it played really well and was quite satisfying.
This is actually really interesting, I like this.
Pretty cool game! I didn't get it at first, took a bit to figure out what was going on. Was pretty fun nonetheless.
Decent game, I was a bit confused what to do at the beginning, also I was playing by myself. But the mechanics are interesting and it's executed pretty nicely. Great job!
This is a pretty fun, could use a little tinkering with the AI and overall physics to balance out the game, but it's enjoyable to play around with and it plays pretty smoothly. Good job!
Great job! The car mechanics are a bit clunky and hard to handle, but other than that the game is pretty good! I love the art style a lot.
Really interesting! The sounds are really immersive, the game play is interesting, and it looks interesting! Great job on this one!
Pretty good, the music was a tad repetitive. Definitely could be a little bit more fast paced.
This is pretty cool! didn't expect it to be a puzzle game as well. The controls were a bit weird, but still great job for 12 hours
This is a really cool concept! I love how the radar works, I just really wish it was a bit faster paced, to really amplify those radar graphics.
Is this what you like? Do you like seeing me in pain?
Jokes aside, this game is fantastic! Every works together nicely, and it even makes me hate myself like Flappy Bird once did. Great job!
The movement could definitely use some work. It would start moving in random directions at certain points, and it was way too fast to keep track of. The combat was actually pretty nice, the way the sword followed the mouse. Great submission!
It's a nice concept, could definitely use some sound and some visual explosions so you know what's going on, but the mechanics are still fun and pretty well done for a weekend. Great job!
Can't seem to open the game, I just get a bunch of folders and files I can't open.
Still nothing, on Windows. I extract it and I just get a bunch of files and folders, it also asks me to rename/replace certain files
