Definitely reminds me of STL, it is pretty fun though and definitely requires some strategy.

A bit too slow for my taste. But music was nice and created nice mood.
Can't get it to work. Shows up in full screen mode, just showing (what I assume is) the corner of the screen, and I cannot interact with anything.

Let me know if there is an update and I will come back and rate.
Pretty cool concept and well executed. I expected to "win" when i reached the 42 milestone but the game still going after that mark. Not very difficult tho. The phrases that the character says adds to the atmosphere pretty good. Good work, keep going :)
The mood that this game set was incredible. It really felt like being alone in open space. The little speech bubbles were nice touch.
It would be nice if you could actually win the game. I played until I reached 42, which would be fitting ending given the name ;)
At first I was struggling a bit and thought it would be quite random until I realized that I can just stop anywhere to heal and that not mining is an actual option. Quite some depth for a single input game. The game could be a bit faster paced or give you more to do while flying. Maybe just let us control what to repair first. Could be hard to keep this eerie mood though.
Super calm, I loved it... especially little things like the pilot's thoughs or twinkling stars.
The Linux distribution misses the libwebp .so (fixed it by a symbolic link against my installed libwebp.so.7.0.0) and the distributed libGLEW is 1.10 while the game is linked against 1.13 (again a symbolic link fixes that). So the magic commands to run the game: ```bash $ ln -s /usr/lib/libwebp.so.7.0.0 libwebp.so.5 $ ln -s libGLEW.so.1.10.0 libGLEW.so.1.13 $ LD_LIBRARY_PATH=. ./GAME_linux ```
I have a fetish for the music
@all: Thanks for giving the game a try!
@jfraser314: That is pretty strange. I've made a update on the windows build, but it's just a shot in the dark. If you don't mind i'd have some questions on the system you are using: - What OS are you using? - How many monitors? - What resolution?
Maybe you can launch the game from the console. There should be a printout of the game's window resolution. It should match your screen resolution? Thank you for taking the time to let me know about that problem!
@sgadrat: In my lazyness i just copied the libs from another project over^^ I've added both libs in the new build. Thanks for letting me know!
@testlab I'm using Win 10 Pro, Surfacebook, native resolution is 3000x2000, and while playing your game I was just hooked up to one monitor.
@jfraser314 High DPI should now be handled correctly. It would be great if you could let me know if that resolves the issue for you. Thanks in advance!
@testlab Thanks for the update, I have played your game and updated your scores. Everything worked great. One question, when I hit pause and then choose play everything goes away. Is this a bug that destroys everything, or just making me start over?

@jfraser314 Great! Yes it was intended, but looking back now it wouldn't have been much work to but a pause system in. Thanks for taking the time!
Lhe desejo sorte ;)
Nice game. The idea is good and innovative. I loved the idea of the mechanic fixing the spaceship so much.
In the way of improving on the current build, I would recommend increasing the speed a little and adding turrets on the spaceship that you can build when you have more power. Also, you can add something like a thruster you can turn on to increase the speed but it uses electricity. A lot of balancing will be required but it will add more fun. Good job :)
This is an interesting game. There's not a whole lot to do, although a little explanation would be helpful, but I did eventually figure it all out.
I also expected that something would happen at 42 lightyears. The problem is that the game as it currently stands doesn't offer much after you get in the right routine -- simply stay around 10 energy at all times, and you're basically good to go.
I suppose that that is perhaps part of the experience -- being out in outer space, with no real end in sight, but I'm afraid that most players will end the game at one time or another, simply out of boredom. That does not invalidate the game as it is -- just something to think about if you do in fact want to make something that people will want to keep playing.
Although, I suppose I could see myself coming back to this at somepoint, simply because there is something in the experience of playing it.
In any case, good job.
Very nice concept and graphics. I like the idea behind the game, although it ended up feeling a bit dull. I wish that there were some more micromanaging I could do with the ship, aside from stopping and moving.
Still, with it's simple mechanics and some work you could turn it into a nice mobile game!
Keep up the hard work! :)
I think the most fascinating the part of this was understanding how the AI for the repair bot worked and timing things well with its pace to make sure that I could proceed as fast as I could. Overall, really fun, but I wish it had a win condition or at least a way to determine how well I am doing. I hit 42 and I didn't see anything happen. :(
