Controls are a bit tricky, its a little floaty for me. But still, really good little game!
Perdy! Really tasty concept, done really well. HTML5 bonus points awarded ;) Not a big fan of the "reveal" SFX though, buzzes my headphones!
Really great. Possibly add some more feedback, its hard to tell if people are going mad sometimes. Otherwise, perfect.
Can't get past the credits screen! Sorry! Not voted.
Aw man, any game that looks this great needs more polish! I wish it had sound and better gameplay very much. Hope you continue it! 5 star graphics anyway!
This is so much fun. My favourite entry yet, and the only one to make me cry out in frustrated joy! Damn you!
Really nice! It would be nice to show the order of color changing somewhere in the HUD, else it can be a bit confusing ;) Also, heads up - you're not allowed to use other people's music, even if it is creative commons.
Good fun, and it looks really polished. Couldn't really find much challenge early on and gave up after a few minutes though.
Perspective is cool, but very confusing to the point that its offputting. Needs a shadow or something to help you understand positioning more intuitively!
Took me too long to realise you could select the GUI. Damn. Still, excellent game.
I wish I knew how to get past the title menu :( Screenshots look nice though!
Kinda hard to aim yourself! I wish the fast restart was automatic.
Wow, nice! Nearly gave up more times than I care to admit, but this it my favourite yet.
Heyyy, fun! I definitely think missing a beat should reset the combo. I really got caught up in this, nice job! I think Android would be really fun, but I've not got the time to test it.
Amazing, this is polished gem! Nice to hear quality narration in one of these!
I didn't feel I had much control over anything! Keep at this one though!
I don't much enjoy the dialogue, but the graphics are very nice!
This is amazing. Is this how a robot sees things? Runs fine here, and the concept is gold. Thanks, and good luck in the contest!
Oh dude, I freakin' love this! Really awesome.
My god this is hard. Fun, but frustrating at times.
Couldn't get through the portal! Looked nice though.
Stuck on N too. Took me a while to figure out what to do, which was a little frustrating, but nice concept! Aesthetically really nice.
Quite good fun! I sucked, my best was 30.
Wow, nice for 48 hours! Yeah, the camera is sensitive, as people have said. Really like the level intro/exit effect, stunned me for a second!
Great fun! Nicely polished too.
My nimble fingers are not designed for this! I love the idea, but I just couldn't play it far enough to really get into it. Its too hard, and the controls are too slippery. Checkpoints would go a long way. Not big on your company name title screen thing, its totally pointless and lasts ages! Remember that the theme is minimalism ;)
@oatsbarley - Cheers! Yeah, you might be right about that, I'll update it after the contest!
@pknowles - There is a short timeout already, any more and I found that it felt unresponsive. I agree about pressing instead of holding keys - another one for the future iteration!
@reustonium I have a slight grain on it, and the entire style is dictated by the Edge Detect Effect Normals effect. I'm glad you had that moment, it's what I live to hear as a budding game designer!
@Zaszx A few people have mentioned that! I get the feeling that less people would see it through to the end if they couldn't do that though - I don't think I'd change it even with extra time!
@FaBrito - If the game does well I'll definitely consider a mobile version with that control scheme! Thanks so much for the rating!
@cwilloughby How do you mean didn't always match? That's very odd.
@nimblegorilla Thanks, thats really useful feedback! Its hard to remember that people don't know what the game is about. That'll be another tweak for the mobile version!
@alexfalkenberg - thanks! It definitely can at times, but sometimes it can be nice to let the game play with you :) It's not designed for speedrunning, more to offer an enjoyable pace that keeps up with the player.
@tonic - Couldn't find the game! I'd love to see it though
@Frozen Fractal - Thanks! Ooooh, I battled with that for hours! I wrote a script which rotated the shapes to any interval and took screenshots, making it easy to see how hard a shape would be. Its in the source. I can change the degree that you snap to - 45 degrees makes for a very different game! I found it too hard though. 90 works for me :)
@brxtr Agreed! I wanted to create a Zen game for this version, so any rewards and challenges would have detracted, but I'll be building a challenge mode in the future.
@euwaku Thanks pal! At the moment you have to hold the rotate buttons down - this is so you can look around the shape in 3D if you're confused. Perhaps I'll tweak weightings to make this more obvious.
@Madball I wasn't really looking to build an obvious challenge, more to make people look at things in a different way and enjoy the surprise (surprise when it all comes together is half of any puzzle!). A few people have said that - I don't mind if you make a smaller shape, so long as it fits in the hole! Maybe I'll design levels so to avoid that happening in the future.
@mildmojo Sorry about that! I'm ashamed to say the Linus and OSX versions were entirely untested because I have neither.
@HELLO23 Cheers dude!
@ethankennerly Thanks for the concise feedback! Lack of explicitly required skill is something people have commented on, and I would like to address it in the future. Trial and error is certainly a part of the game, and I wanted people to try to make intelligent guesses, rather than the arduous task of perfectly understanding the shape.
@Jacques_le_lezard I'll definitely be making the nature of the puzzles clearer in the future. I hope you play again with your deeper understanding! It does make me kinda happy that the puzzles were truly puzzling though :D
Pretty neat!
If ever need someone's eyes melted, I'll give you a call. Thanks.
Ambience was nice, but I didn't really get what was going on, which gave me little incentive. Got some clues, but they do what? A bit more agency would have gone a long way. Still, looked nice.
Really good! Best platformer I've played so far, loving the Ikaruga thing! Possibly takes a little too long to get difficult though, shorter games encourage replays!
Desperately needs a tutorial! I wish I could understand what was going on, but I have literally no clue. Is it multiplayer or something? (ok, read the description, its multiplayer.)
Oooh
Really nice! The match 3 genre is really well implemented here, original! I found it confusing though - instruction and feedback would improve this 110%. I'd play again!
Good fun on gamepad! Gets hard to see whats going on fast though.
Good fun! My only complaint is that the gaps between bullets is often too small for you to fit through.
Looks and sounds amazing! The text took forever to scroll though, which was annoying, and I expected planetary gravity rather than the floaty jump as is. Nice fun.
This is amazing. Blogged it here:

I hope you win!
Heads up - chrome thinks your javascript is unsafe! Good fun bullethell game!
Having to type pause to pause is evil. Love it.
Really great! The best arcade game I've played yet. Feels really polished, and well in the theme.
404 on web version too :(
Novel, but the amount of balls meant I didn't feel I had much control.
I love the way you attack enemies! It grows old pretty fast without variation though. I'd love to see more weapons and enemies!
Wowww, hard! Really cool idea though.
Classy! 5 stars! Can I ask why you chose to use SDF instead of the more standard ASD?
The voxeling is great! Dead impressed at the tech too! Shame about the controls, I find they make it impossible to play!
Awesome. Best visual style and mood I've seen in the 200 games I've played!
Excellent!
This is really cool, but I can't help but feel you've just copied this game which I stumbled across when I searched "minimalist" in Kongregate for inspiration. http://www.kongregate.com/games/Rogerup/momiga
I've been playing for 2 minutes and I can tell that this is something special. I'm going to complete this comment at intervals to get the full experience down. Firstly though, I have to complement the author on deciding to take a huge amount of crack before making games. Very brave.
Update 1 - Comparing steak to lettuce is a running theme
Update 2 - Did you buy the sex doll for this, or do you just have one lying around?
Update 3 - We are stalking a girl. Shes turning round...thank fuck she's smiling. I couldn't have handled a rape minigame.
Update 4 - Oh god, is the sex doll bleeding?! DON'T YOU TOUCH HER!
Update 5 - Segment B, I hope this is a weird as the la...oh god, he's wearing the sex doll.
Update 6 - Level 4. This is too much for 1am.
Update 7 - Oh boy, Level 6. This game is getting denser and denser. I think the creator was coming down.
Update 8 - The return of the sex doll costume!
Update 9 - He's hitting his guitar with a small stick and wearing an accordion. You can't make this up.
Update 10 - This is getting weirdly intimate. I KNOW TOO MUCH ABOUT YOU.
Update 11 - They're crushing limpets. I get the feeling this goes on forever.
Update 12 - I...won? I...I...I don't know what to make of the world anymore.
I really don't know if this is serious or not, and I can't really call it a game. Either way, this will be the most unique LD entry this year. 5 stars for insanity.
Got stuck on the bottom! Pretty trippy visuals.
Shame the controls aren't a bit more polished, otherwise really fun! Nearly reaches Meat Boy levels of frustration and reward.
Doesn't feel very minimal, even after reading your explaination, but it makes up for it in fun!
Feeling the lack of control mentioned by others. Good fun though, and the mood is really great.
Nice! Reminds me of Gauge
Really cool idea! Its hard to create a strategy without knowing what the enemies will do though - I found a lot of trial/error involved.
I keep getting gangbanged. The sound was a bit annoying, but I like the idea.
No sound in space, but there's a techno soundtrack? ;) Takes a while to get hard, which is a shame, I like the core idea.
Found this just a little too generic - I think stronger level design might have helped bring the simplicity to the forefront.
Aha, I didn't understand the comment below before I played it. Nice job!
Love the animation on the ball, feels like a disney film! Always refreshing to see physics that don't feel like standard game physics. That said, I didn't know what to do after I got the ball to the top and got bored.
Katamari is my favourite game! I found it quite hard to control this when my shape got too big though, found myself in the air for ages!
Nice graphics, and simple mechanic is nice, but I can't help but feel there should be less filler rooms in a game about minimalism! If they don't do anything, strip 'em out :)
Really fun! Bookmarked!
Decrease the death timeout and make the jumping a little slower and you've got a cool game! I found it frustrating to play for those reasons.
Ahaha, this is really fun :D Nice polish, love the stair effect you use. Might have been nice if it had gotten increasingly harder rather than just ending though.
This is totally sweet. Best looking game I've seen so far! The controls make it very hard to avoid the lava though, and dying is frustrating as hell because it takes so long to respawn. I think I'd enjoy the game more without the lava! Good luck to you!
Bit slow, its annoying having to wait to respawn. Nice concept though.
Nice idea! The only problem I had was that I had no idea what a good price to buy/sell was. An average selling point stat would go a long way.
Couldn't really figure out what I was doing and what effect it had. Sorry! Finish it and upload a post-comp version!
Sometimes I just die on startup :( One of the better avoider games in the comp!
Ahaha, nice one! Like the twist on the genre! Destroying an empire doesn't feel as fun as building one though.
I wish I had the vaguest of clues of what to do, I really wanted to enjoy this! Sounds really pretty though. Rated you well for the screenshots of what clearly could have been.
Love it! One of the best fitting with the theme, plays almost like a comedy! Why not make the viewport bigger so you can see everything?
Yeah, hard to control, but it looks and plays well!
Shame the levels dont mix up more! Still, great entry :)
Incredible! An intelligent simple puzzler that's not frustrating?! Sold, for 5 stars!
Wasn't really sure how to play, I just kinda clicked about. I think I was the potato team? Still, taters!
Nice and cute! Shame it doesn't ramp upto a challenge!
Best humor and mood so far!
I might simply be being dense, but I'm really not getting this. Seeing as there's only 4 different shapes in the game, I expected them too all have a meaning, but the sphere and cube don't really do anything for me. Are they there for a reason?
You, sir, have a dangerous obsession with the potato.
Really really cool. I wish the controls were mapped so that A and L controlled forearms, and K and A controlled upper arms instead though. But hell, dumb controls help the dumb game! 5 stars all round!
Great idea! I've hit the "cant draw" bug :(
Sorry, I just can't figure out what to do! A preloader might have been nice too, I thought it was broken at first!
Realllllly pretty. I think the levels need polishing though, they're not very enjoyable to start. Warms up nicely!
My god this is hard. Why not offset the camera along the X? You never need to see what's to the left of you, and it takes up 50% of the screen!
I can't reach the web version! I just get pinged over to your home page.
Theres potential here! I'd love to see where it ends up! Looks really cool.
Ahah, oh Steve! I love how the rapidfire controls aid the narrative! Well executed. Also, FIREFLY REFERENCE!
Hot damn! Love me a card game, glad someone went there. If I wasn't sitting here alone warming myself on the CRT glow I'd be on this like a flash. I'll get some buddies and play it when I get a chance!
Really great! Love the mood, although I'm not keen on the music.
Oh man, this is amazing! I think I enjoyed it more than the Devil's Tuning Fork for having enemies and no forced storyline. 5 stars!
Very cool! Feels really polished, I felt that while the floatyness was nice, the controls needed tweaking to make them slightly more responsive though.
Good fun, but I found the controls a bit slugish! Also, didn't expect the black walls to kill me, but oh well.
Simple concept! I think a bit of polish could make this really fun!
Awesome! Mario wishes he was that cool. Finished it, which is nice.
Ahah, fantastic. Best text based adventure ever! This is the first I've enjoyed enough to complete!
Heads up - if your link says web, I don't like having to download an SWF.
This is an insanely cool concept - I love how you control the guys! I found the pace of the game started frustratingly slow though, standing around hacking wasn't very fun, even if I could split them up for efficiency.
Fuck it.
Chilled!
Really really nice. Shame the positions don't randomise more, I could basically stay still till near the end!
Doesn't feel too responsive - The idea is really great though, 5 stars for innovation! Its a shame I don't have anyone here to play it with. Add some polish and you've got a winner!
Really nice puzzler! My only critisism is that the shapes aren't very self explanatory. 5 for innovation!
Great concept, I hope you win the Audio contest!
More of this please. My winner.
This is fun :D "I ate a shoe once!"
Very minimal, for sure!
Really simple, really fun. A reset button and an incentive to complete under x moves would be nice too!
I might keep the music on in the background ;)
Ahoy! Very artsy. I can tell this was really well thought out (I'm cynical and didn't expect it to be, sorry!), its a shame the graphics don't match that level. You certainly did well with Unity perfabs though! 4 stars!
Plays like Desert Bus.
Really good fun! I kept getting lost in space though.
Really fun! Sounds nice and plays nice. Possibly a bit slow though, knowing that it'll take me a minute to get back to where I was when I die is offputting.
Really enjoyed piloting the ship, but I found doing so felt unnecessary for the actual gameplay of killing the enemies - I often lost them - being a fixed turret might have made the game easier to complete. Good thing the AI took care of most the threats ;) The flight felt nice though, got a bit of vertigo!
Uhuh, space captant made another mistake! Ejecting in the middle of space.
Really nice! Certainly minimal, the story was really good.
Original! I keep getting stuck with no moves left, but I guess thats a part of the game!
This is cool! Perhaps the controls are a bit floaty though, I died a few times when I had too much velocity couldnt see there was a wall above me.
There are a LOT of threeheaded monkeys behind me. I'm not turning around.
I didn't really get what was going on, but the atmosphere is really nice, I love the graphics! I wish I had been able to tell if I'd been shooting or not.
Excellent, a genuinely good narrative game! Very minimal too, every action the player has helps tell the story in ways only possible for an interactive medium. 5 stars!
Quite nice, the controls took a bit too much from me though, I didn't feel very in control!
This is awesome! My train of thought as I played:
Oh wow, this looks sweet! Gogogo! Oooooh yeah, shooting! I'm gonna shoot shiny things! What's that static effect? Ooooh, more shiny things in the distance! Can I move? (press every button on the keyboard) Aww man, never mind; what do I do then? Oh damn! Looks like I'm losing health! Where are the enemies? There! There's an enemy! That must be what that static was! Shit, that boy's fast! Uhuh, I'm running low!
And then I died. 3 stars sir, nice work!
Really nicely polished. I wasn't sure which guy I was sometimes though! Maybe differentiate them slightly more? 5 stars!
Really like this! Every time management game, but done insanely simply. I was very close to giving up when I didn't know what to do, but I'm glad I worked it out! Instructions would have gone a long way. Also, I can hear you click your mouse to stop recording your sound :p
Hmm, I can hear the game, but I can't see anything on screen! Let me know if you fix it, I'd love to play it! :)
Seen it before, but this is nicely done. Good one!
God damned minimalists, ruining fine art! Might have been more engaging if the game was a bit harder and a bit more fast paced - didn't become a challenge for a while for me!
Really nice! Spore mixed with Incredipede. It might be nice if the game showed you the level on the creation screen, otherwise I find there can be a bit of trial/error getting it right. Really nice concept, very impressed you did it in the timeframe!
Really fitting, simple and elegant. Good job and good luck!
Ah thank fuck, finally a genuine original game! Really love it, great work. Agreed with zebebruin - this could be a mobile hit!
