pretty fantastic, incredible work considering the time frame. I think this has great potential. Thanks for the game.

hmm, not sure what I should type on the monitor in the slime room? any clues? Really cool take on the theme; guilt villain.
good stuff here. I loved the sound and the theme is great too. A bit tricky to kill the white cells because when I aimed I just ran right into them.
the game has been closing whenever I touch the top edge of the screen while flaming making it pretty hard to win. Good work though.
I liked this; effective sounds, great character descriptions, nice gameplay. good stuff.
this is the first game I've played in a long time that made me feel nostalgic for NES games and not because of the graphics. Lots of games borrow from that era in a post-modern or ironic kind of way but with this game it hit me after a few minutes that it was the gameplay doing it; simple, confident and boss.
Hey, just to say I really like the look of this piece (graphically). Keep up the good work.
really strong start to something cool I think. Keep at it.
nice, quite clever, well written, a bit masochistic but intelligently so. good work.
I loved the whizzing about! Very fun mechanic alone. Simple and effective. Also the sound effects are pretty nice in a nostalgic kind of way.
nice looking game, great palate used and a pretty accomplished entry altogether. Good work.
Is Texas the villain? I really enjoyed your game, I especially liked the music. The end was great too. Smiles all round. Thanks for making it.
Late was great, I loved it, all the little graphical touches were sublime; stork splatter, pixel fires, evil hat. Loved it.
I quite like the slap-dash graphics but some of the images on the menu seemed a little blurred. I liked chasing the deer around and a goatee beard is pretty evil.
I couldn't get away from the angry devs. I like it when someone makes an effort with the graphics though.
There seemed to be something weird with the transfers, like I'd go through a "door" and reappear in the centre of a room. And that guy was unrelenting!
funky stuff, good work.
haha, very good. Nice looking game with a message: touching goats can be hazardous. I know a number of games I've played this Ludum have omitted sound but, for me, it is an essential part of a game an really elevates the work.
I love the music, very cool. I found the game a bit tricky though and I think the space craft is a bit too vulnerable, That explosion graphic is great too.
My friend used to blow his nose on his cat...
................................................ ok, it was me.
woah, beautiful graphics and I thought the delay leading up to him throwing the guitar at an off-kilter angle added something to the gameplay. A few times he started spinning round in circles and I had to restart but that is probably my fault, also controls bla bla bla. Good-blinking-stuff.
nice solid little game here, good work. Why did they turn into green bears? I liked it that they did.
Good-blinking-stuff there, I liked the red moon rising/ apocalypse now colour palate.
Hey, I liked this, the strength is the ambiguity of the narrative. What is the obelisk from where you come from? Where are you? What have you done? (rhetorical).
I liked the learning process and am interested where this idea will go in future iterations (more levels and traps sounds very appealing).
If you press shift you can run.
thanks for the comments,
@goerp - I made the "music" with my strat and my synth and used tape distortion on my voice. So, almost real instruments. I used a script for the text and one for the menu, I spent too much time on the music and nonsense.
nice comments thanks.
I'm with you BlackBulletIV.
Haha, right Spelchan, in fact I think I'm trumped at almost every hurdle when it comes to the ratings, not just the "fun" aspect. Oh well...
@ csanyk: I think you're missing about 4 fifths of the game. Try exploring a tiny bit more - you can go in most doors.
...having said that, you aren't missing much.
I was rubbish at this, couldn't get past the second part but I tried the other levels in the practice mode. Great music though, like dubby atari music. I mean, I love the music a lot.
Well that was super, very strategic and I really got into it. Nice work.
Cute names and was the little white rabbit omniscient? A little mastering on the voice recording would have taken away the backround fuzz/buzz but not to worry, it gave it a certain quality.
pretty tight game, really reminiscent of days of yore. great audio.
I got two goats in a row! Take that smiley faces. Gets a bit tiresome with no real objective or end game but good stuff all the same. Nice audio.
pretty nice, reminiscent of Space Funeral, which is a good thing. I liked all the criming. Criming aint easy but it sure is fun.
"kicking the habit", very good
My favourite game. Exactly the kind of mood I love. It has some very strong themes here too; that punitive systems are blind, that choices have repercussions and that we can't choose what we choose to choose. I got a lot from this game. I liked it how the player couldn't read everything at times. bla bla bla, thanks very much.
What a laugh! Great stuff. The voice is great as is the music and sounds in general.
I loved it how there was thousands of folk lining up to be flung against a wall and/or shot. I juggled one guys head thrice, daddy would be proud. Very cool, well done and thank you.
something quite jarring about those floating, limbless chimps.
what a good idea, I feel the music could be amped up some and I think it might work a wee bit better in full screen but, having said that, I feel it's really accomplished. good stuff.
great, this really worked for me. the sounds really complimented the gameplay (oh yeah) and the use of Mondrian really fit naturally into the game. good stuff.
lots to like here, it really drew me in in a dream or fever kind of way. At one point I started genuinely fretting for my loot and wondering if I could hold on. I wonder if the writing could be tightened up though. The gorillas were a particular highlight for me, inspired. good stuff.
wow, nice work. The look of the game is very cool, especially the out of the game area effects. And the nice little touch at the end with the PNG is super.
fantastic! My favourite. Death is this weird thing and we all live in it's shadow but most have a latent awareness of death. It always perplexes me as to why people don't talk about death all of the time and why all media isn't about death. I love this game. I love this chance to be alive. Thank you so much Aceria.
nice one! good, classic feel to it. Looks great, borrowing affectionately from similar games but in a way that is a assuring. thanks for this.
pretty darn tricky, I liked the music and the colour opposites thing. good work
funny fun, loved the potato licking animation and the music was banging. good stuff man.
haha, I probably would've quit way before that.
fun comments, thanks
@ mase & yinbar, ten points for calling a spade a spade, have a biscuit!
Anyone want to buy a watch? Also I can get you a dog if you want, just say, I have "friends".
some of it wasn't filmed during the jam (the sea spitting, table dance, snow scenes) but I came into possession of it during (I asked my friends if they had some stock footage of performances they could send me). I'm obviously not in it to win it, just wanted to make something and share it. If it bothers anyone I'm more than happy to get it removed.
I made a poem about your game:
"dark, light, music, red, fall, again, get, dark, light? fall, level 5"
Good stuff, concise and unnerving.
woo, had a kind of 1984 feel to it. The controls were really weird and not very intuitive. I liked finding the potato.
nice stuff, I wonder how high I can tower. Quite relaxing in a funny sort of way. I love this type of casual game actually, must dip into it again. Thank you
I loved how it looked and loved even more how it sounded. What a great concept for a game too. love love. great work.
nice work, looks very polished. I found it quite difficult sadly but I'm rubbish at this sort of thing. Albeit, good work.
the old classic of daring someone not to press that button. I killed him a few times. good stuff.
nice nice, I said "miaow" and "parp" into the void. nice economy of words, effective, solid.
Skywilly, great name! Funny game, it works in English really well, with the clever focus on short utterances. Made a nice rhythm to the work. many things I really liked here, good stuff.
funny fun, loved the intro and end cutscenes. I loved how the channel kept on changing, the first time it happened it really was a nice surprise. good stuff.
quite interesting, I liked how bleak it was. Not sure if I should've found it so funny. great work.
what a fantastic game. Lets just get this straight: at last I can explore potato space as an ant! great work.
enjoyed this, concise, succinct and fun. Nice length that left me wanting more (totally interested if you make more). good work, thanks.
just incredible, one of the nicest games I've played. love love love. It sucked me in and gave me a cuddle. super. I'm going to share it with my little sisters and all my chums. Thanks for this game, so accomplished. 5/5 all over the place. great stuff.
