I really enjoyed this game. The main problem was having the game become so hard after tripping an alarm. Also would be nice to have some kind of indicator on what stair climbing state you were in.

Awesome game, its a shame you haven't been able to get py2exe or other converters working. Also make sure you specify the version of python and pygame you are using because all versions of python 3.x will not work with your code.

Good start for having less time than most to complete it. If you do make a post-compo version here are the priorities I would fix first:
- indicators for health and death
- that takeover power sounds awesome, so implement that
- Animations
Otherwise the rest of it is solid.

Nice tower defense game. Got bored pretty quickly as there were only two choices and you were rolling in money by wave 15, but you could easily take this and extend it after the compo and make a solid TD.

Great overall gameplay. Got a little repetitive until level 5, and with no save feature I would have to go through level 1-4 to work on a strategy for that level. (Played on web) Good job!

Good idea. Large bug though as whenever I pressed z I won. So I had to try and go through the level without shooting which was too hard to get through.
